Balcony House Bed and Breakfast

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely, late Victorian property. Our ensuite room was spacious, comfortable and ticked all the boxes for our two night stay. An ideal location, not far from the M6 and close to Kendal town centre. The hosts were brilliant which made for a really enjoyable stay over.

Great stay at Tudor House. Mandy is a lovely host. The room and bathroom were comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. Great location. Highly recommend this BnB.

What a lovely place to stay. We were going to a wedding and stayed for 2 nights we got our lovely breakfast in our room which was a very nice surprise so no need to get dressed and what a lovely couple, very helpful.. very comfy bed could not fault anything..also very very good value for money we will come back thank you so much for making our stay lovely

Fri 12th - 15th May Stay|We had the absolute pleasure of staying in the self contained apartment. It was extremely comfortable and quiet. It met all of our wants and needs. ||We were blessed with great weather, so the multi fuel burner will be the pleasure for someone else. ||The added bonus was the beautiful outside space, that is shared with a pair of amazing resident duck. You also have the added enefit of the rear parking spot. ||Brian and Mandy are fantastic hosts, and we felt very at home, and nothing was too much trouble. ||Already looking forward to booking again. Would I recommend ABSOLUTELY.

Balcony house is a family run Bed & Breakfast, and was one of our most relaxing stays away from home. ||||The room was extremely well presented with nice touches like bathrobes. ||||Breakfast was exceptional with a substantial list to choose from. The added bonus was having breakfast delivered to our room. ||||Nothing was too much trouble and we were made to feel at home. || ||We would highly recommend this B&B which also has complimentary use of the spa at a local hotel. ||||Thank you very much for an extremely pleasant stay

Very enjoyable 4 night stop over , room was very nice a good size comfortable bed a very nice ensuite plenty of hot water nothing was to much trouble, location was spot on a ten minute walk in to town there is a pub a couple of minutes away , free use of the pool and gym at the hotel just down the round and very enjoyable it was too . Breakfast was ordered the night before which was great all well cooked and very tasty nothing not to like got to get a big thumbs up from us ..

Balcony House is a lovely place to stay. We had a very nice room overlooking the pretty garden. The Bed linen and towels were spotless and of a very good quality. Some people suggest the walk into Kendal is about 15 minutes, I would say more like 20 to 25 and we walk fairly briskly. It is a walk on a very busy road.||We were served a delicious breakfast in our room and Mandy left lots of bottled water out for us which was most appreciated as it was very hot during our stay. Lovely to find a B&B without noisy children racing all over the place and no pets allowed. Many thanks Mandy and Brian for everything you did for us and we hope you had a lovely holiday yourselves.

A lovely 6 night stay at The Balcony House. We opted for room only. A warm welcome as usual. A big thankyou to Brian and Mandy for all their help be it local knowledge for where to visit, for off the beaten track spots, or eat, to offering their help after i took a tumble on the hills Sunday afternoon. A fab place to stay and wonderful owners. The Eagle and Child in Staveley was recommended as an option for evening meals, an excellent accommodating welcoming hostelry.
