Our tour guide recommended this gelato shop and we agree. The affogato was exceptional and almost half the price of others. Well awarded, the scoopers were very personable.

Gorgeous gelato with a range of both traditional and more unusual flavours made on site. My son went for chocolate and straciatella, which was delicious: I had pear with hibiscus and black olive with orange - both absolutely divine!

Spectacular ice cream made of top-tier ingredients. Talking to the sisters owning the shop was a pleasure and we could straight away feel the passion and dedication to their trade. The aged caciocavallo ice cream was stellar, as were the pumpkin and the salted caramel. Flavors change regularly too.
NOT TO BE MISSED and well worth a detour if you're in Lecce.

very good gelato, BUT this year they have cut down on the portions massively. I come to Lecce every year with my family, but now a grande cup is actually a medium to small one from the past. We will definitely choose another Gelateria. It's not the cost that bothers us, but that we are fooled with carefully aerated and measured cups as if you steal it and don't buy it

Excellent. Great selection of gelato and friendly staff.
They have all the usual flavours that everyone seems to stick with, but they also have some daily and weekly specials.
We went for an olive gelato, very unusual but quite delicious.

It was a 5 stars two years ago, it became 4 last year, I am afraid it’s only a 3 stars now. Of course it’s my personal taste, but the base is too milky, killing the flavours. Prices have gone up more than the competition, considering how little the portions are.
I hope next year Baldo will go back to its glory.
