Bale Udang Mang Engking Kuta

Bale Udang is a true gem in Kuta! This place captures the authentic Balinese spirit in the most beautiful way. We sat in a cozy wooden hut over the water, surrounded by fish swimming beneath us — and we could even feed them! The atmosphere is spacious and peaceful, with a stylish yet traditional design that feels both elegant and genuine. The food was absolutely delicious — generous portions and a wide variety to choose from. Everything we tried was full of flavor and beautifully presented. The staff were incredibly kind, polite, and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. Perfect spot for a scenic dinner, a romantic date, or a relaxing lunch. Highly recommend!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had an absolutely amazing dining experience at Bale Udang in Bali! The food was beyond scrumptious – every dish was bursting with flavor. The sweet spicy prawns were perfectly cooked with just the right kick of heat and sweetness. The dancing fish was a standout – crispy, tender, and beautifully presented. We also tried the oysters, which were fresh and delicious, and the kangkung (water spinach) was the perfect savory side. The serene ambiance with traditional Balinese touches made it even more special, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, Ms Dewi, adding a warm touch to the whole experience. Highly recommend for anyone looking for authentic and mouthwatering seafood in a beautiful setting!

A beautiful setting , amazing food and service . This was our first visit of Bali Udang . The setting is so serene. We had a variety of seafood including crabs and whole fish, absolutely delicious. They also catered for vegetarians, the yummiset mushroom satays and corn fritters.

This place so big, and very calming. Surrounded by fish ponds. Food is delicious. Mainly serves fresh seafood, chicken cooked with Indonesian herb and spice. Very clean! They also mushalla, recommended for Muslim visitor. The indoor playground for kids is amazing! Perfect for family with kids.

The food is good. The atmosphere is pretty at night. Better doing the reservation first because need to be in a waiting list for direct visiting. My favorite is urap

Lots of activities for the kids. From fish feeding to playground. And an indoor area with aircon with some colouring in and some toys. On Fri - Sun there is a staff supervision so can leave the kids there.......food was decent. Prob skip the cumi (grilled squid a bit spicy). Must try dish bale udang madu (grilled prawn - a bit spicy) and gurame menari bale udang (fried fish). More Indo people then tourist so that's always a sign

Hands down one of the most beautiful restaurants around, I could spend hours there listening to the live musicians sing serene songs with a beautiful view. The food was well presented and was delicious, the only thing I wish was that they have the menu in English so I don’t have to disturb the staff to explain what some dishes detail. It’s a busy restaurant but there’s enough sitting area and staff were very busy but welcoming and approachable. Will definitely visit again when in Bali

Exceptional seafood dining experience. The service team was top-notch, and the food was outstanding. The lobster and prawn dishes were absolute highlights. Bonus points for accommodating us in a shared a large 'kambang' despite no advance reservation.
