Bali Buda Ubud

I love their food! So many good options and very flavourful. It has in the menu all the good things for your gut: garlic, ginger, etc. It feels healthy and easy on the digestion. It's not for those heavy meat eaters and fans of traditional western food. The cakes are very filling and tasty as well. The prices are decent. One of my favourite places in Ubud for healthy food!

My place to go for best cinnamon roll and carrot cake. I just can't get enough their sweet treats. Not just that, their support for locals suppliers and small businesses, and their dedication for sustainable business are highly appreciated. For halal food seeker, they definitely the trusted one.

Bali Buda is a true classic. At first, we only stopped by to shop at the market, but recently we tried the café — and now I want to come back 1–2 times a week! Everything I’ve eaten here has been both delicious and light. I especially love the balance of vegetables in their bowls, the tasty sandwiches (being able to choose your bread is a nice touch), and their apple crumble cake, which I can never resist. And the Bali coffee is simply amazing — full of flavor, smooth, and never heavy, even if you drink a lot. Also the mint lemonade is a must try. I feel the café deserves a higher rating than some reviews suggest, but of course, taste is personal. For me, it has quickly become one of my favorite spots in Ubud. Plus, you can always find your favorite products — and many more healthy options — in their mini market afterward.

So good to find some fresh crisp veggies. Delicious healthy food. The chocolate tart is divine. Good shop full of health goodies too.

We got the Super Berry and Dosha Balancing smoothies. They were so delicious that we ended up ordering two more drinks. Their fresh lemonade drinks were amazing as well. They also have a Muslim prayer room!!

I loved this place. Went back 3 times. You can really feel that they use high quality products and avoid unnecessary additives.

Mostly I love the nice healthy fresh takeaway juices & kombucha. Peanut butter cookies are dangerously good.. Extreme Jamu never fails to give my immune system a boost (it’s strong though - you’ve been warned!) The staff are friendly, the space is clean. Love that I can return my bottles for re-use & have some bulk-food options.

The service is very good, everyone is polite, respectful and helpful. The Store is amazing! But I have a question to ask cafe. The food is clean and organic, but today I was very surprised to know that all dishes (expect smoothies, fruit bowls and pancakes) have garlic in it, even all probiotic fed chicken is pre-marinated with garlic!!! All sauces has garlic in it. There is no option to have sauce free chicken or Salam or anything without garlic. Do you know that 18% of population has allergies for garlic and 59% of population has intolerance to it? I did not know ever until recently. Just maybe to have marinate free option on the menu, that would be great.
