Bali Hai Resort & Spa

First stay here and we chose a Studio Deluxe. Yes the rooms aren’t brand new, neither is the resort, but everything is well maintained and looked after. The staff seem to be always on the go looking after something. Loved the room design with discrete outdoor shower, outdoor dining area and kitchen which had everything we needed. There is an indoor bathroom as well but we never used it. Highlights 1. 600 metres to the beach 2. Great restaurant on site when open 3. Terrific spa set up with great team 4. Nice pool 5. It felt very secure 6. Nice gardens throughout. If I was to suggest one improvement, more Bali style day beds around the pool, they’re great for reading a book on. Owned by Andy, who cares for this place like its own home, we will definitely make this our Broome go to place to stay.

Had a beautiful seafood plater today, 16/12/25. I think it was the best well presented plater I have ever had. Me and my friend Jenni and I were absolutely blown away. Meet the owner from England. And later meet her husband. You both should be very proud of your accomplished success. Your staff were so pleasant and obliged in every aspect. Wish you continued success. And will be back. Our second stay at the lovely Bali Hai Resort. Rooms are spacious and clean. (A little dated, but clean). The outdoor area is a nice place to sit with the lovely garden view. The grounds and pool area are immaculately maintained. Staff are friendly and helpful. When you walk through the gardens, you feel instantly relaxed and calm. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed in a two bed/two bathroom unit with one bathroom outdoors. While on the whole the place was very clean, the bathrooms could do with a good clean in the shower area. Unfortunately we could not use the spa as it closed at 5pm. Check in was very smooth. Thank you Sian for bringing our luggage to our unit and helping us to find our feet! Many thanks to Lulu too for her help.

Thank you for always being consistently fabulous. Your staff are always so helpful. The accommodation is always clean and the spa is one of our favourites.

We stayed 4 nights at the Bali Hai, and we have absolutely no complaints! We ate at the restaurant for 3 nights and each night was exceptional. The room was very large, with outside BBQ and pleasant area. Large bathroom, plus large shower room, plus outside shower. We'll stay again!

Very well located in a peaceful area near cable beach. Staff at reception were lovely. Sian who checked us in even brought our bags for us! She was very helpful. Also Lulu who helped us with directions. There is a bit of maintenance needed in bathrooms but it was not a major issue. Thank you all for our once in a life time experience in Broome!

This review is for their cafe in the resort. We live about 500m away and recently went for dinner, without reservations, on Fathers day. The M'd could not seat us (2) right away and showed us to the bar side seats while a table came up. A reasonable selection of wines (for Broome) and enough types of beers for anyone. About 6 house cocktails. Quickly served a drink and we were seated about 10 mins later. About 6 entrees ($20-$30), 8 seasonal mains ($34-$40), and another 6 dessert selections ($10-$18) to choose from. My wife's arm was in a sling from recent shoulder surgery so we just had a main course each. Stir fried tofu with vegetables for her and I had the baked lasagna with Gorgonzola & tomato sauce with a walnut and mandarin salad. A glass of WA Sav. Blanc for her and a SA Shiraz for me. All well presented and tasty. There was a good vibe to the place. The wait staff were smiling and very efficient. 4 kitchen staff, 2 wait staff and a very good M'd. Everything hummed very well. The only thing I would say to improve the experience would have been some more privacy between the restaurant and the resort reception with breezeway to the facilities. Floor to ceiling clear glass could be frosted so all the foot traffic going past was avoided while eating.

I went to the day spa here and LOVED IT! Service was so great and the options available were spot on and covered nearly anything you could ask! I got the Pearl Paradise 60min full body massage and a 30min facial, costing $190. Felt like I was truly papmered! While outside doesn't really look all that posh and a greeting from a bob-tail lizard crossing the path was a little unorthodox, once you were inside and got to look at and use the facilities I was in heaven! You can make use of the resort's pool and teh day spa's own pool. The staff are incredibly friendly and do eveything to make you feel welcome and relaxed. I love the amount of international people that work in Broome. From Scottish to Japanese it was different, but I loved it! The service was faultess and I left positively glowing! Check it out and make at least half a day of it! ;)

Although I was expecting Balinese food, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and deliscousness of what we had. We couldn't resist but to have all 3 courses, wine and cocktails. The rabbit roulade entre was absolutely devine and the portions were ample. All the food was fantastic and prepared by a very talented and creative Chef. Beautiful restaurant with great friendly service. Gets my vote for best in Broome!! Loved it !!!

This is a review for the Bali Hai Cafe, the resort itself is fine. We stayed at the resort for a week and went to the restaurant for 3 of our meals. The front of house waitstaff were consistently rude and unhelpful which unfortunately detracted from the overall experience. The food was otherwise fine - but not spectacular enough to justify the poor service. For a restaurant within a resort I am surprised that this is acceptable. If we come back to Broome we will go elsewhere.

Bali Hai is beautiful. This review is for the resort (we didn't make it to the day spa!) and the restaurant. The pool is sheltered from the breeze and has a perfect mix of sunny and shady lounges. The grounds are gorgeous, with frangipani and palms. We had a deluxe suite with kitchen and it had everything we needed. And the outdoor shower is pure luxury. You can walk to the beach on a short path through the dunes (full of wildlife!), and ten minutes later you'll see the long white expanse of Cable Beach. Bali Hai is quiet - away from the sunset crowds at the beach, but close enough to join them if you want. The staff are super friendly and helpful, and the restaurant is definitely worth a visit. I can't wait to go back.

Waited over 1hr for our food to come out there were 4x wait staff but all were polite and explained to us after we waited 45min that there was a little bit of a wait as there was a influx of orders.. They gave us free prawn crackers until our food arrived.. Pork belly was nice however the there was too much fat on it for my liking.. Also ordered a dish with barramundi fish tasted spoilt and cooked from frozen (not fresh) but I big portion of veggies.. Wait staff took the fish back to the Chef to taste then she came back and said you will not get charged for this meal.. We also had a order with steak but a very small portion for $42 Overall visit was ok but very $$ with small portions expected more for our money.. When we left the premises we observed that there were only 2 people in the kitchen area and they were under pressure.. Not sure if they were understaffed or if that's how they normally run the kitchen but I would recommend getting more kitchen staff to reduce the wait time.. Again I would like to thank the wait staff for their efforts as they take all the complaints then have to relay them back to the manager or chef would of liked the manager or chief to come out and apologise for the food..
