Bali International Convention Centre

One of the first international convention centers in Bali. It is located in Nusa Dua area, with direct access and connection with the western resort and hotel in Nusa Dua. It has big meeting rooms,halls, exhibition, hall, dining area, and meeting as well as convention facilities. It has been been used so many times for the venues of international conferences hosted by Indonesian government, as well as other parties and business sectors. The location is very strategic, it has its own parking spot, and access to big hotels in the surrounding areas. I just note that it is friendly for ♿️ persons with disability or persons with reduced mobility, with ramps and toilets, especially the designated one because not all toilets are disability, friendly. but somehow I did not see lifts as we only have a lot of escalators and stairs. Perhaps it’s located somewhere in the back which I didn’t see. Some meeting rooms and toilets look a bit old and need more maintenance or renovation. It has no bidet for the toilets. It’s beautifully adorned with Balinese carvings and paintings across the building.

I have mixed feelings about this place. Love it and hate it. Because almost every year I come for the same event, lol. Note: 1. The food, surprisingly, wasn't great. Very disappointing for a five star category like BICC. 2. The toilets are very outdated. This building feels like an old building. Come on, nowadays do you think civilized people still using toilets that use tissue?

recently had the opportunity to attend an international conference at the Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center (BNDCC), and I must say — it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by how organized, spacious, and elegant the venue was. Whether you’re an attendee or an event organizer, this place has everything you’d need for a successful event. The location in Nusa Dua is a huge plus. It’s nestled in a quiet, resort-filled area, far from the traffic and hustle of Denpasar or Kuta. It feels exclusive yet accessible. There are plenty of hotels nearby — many within walking distance — which makes it super convenient for international guests or large delegations. You can even enjoy a short walk to the beach during lunch breaks, which is a rare bonus for a convention center. As for the facilities, they are top-notch. The main halls are massive, clean, and well-ventilated, with high ceilings and great acoustics. During the plenary sessions, even with hundreds of people present, the sound system was clear and powerful. The lighting setup was professional, and the screens used for presentations were sharp and bright. They also had excellent live streaming equipment and simultaneous translation services for multilingual sessions, which added a very professional touch. The breakout rooms and smaller meeting areas were also impressive. They were well-equipped with whiteboards, projectors, and strong Wi-Fi connections. I appreciated the comfortable seating and the thoughtful layout that allowed for networking and collaboration. The staff were always nearby and ready to assist with anything technical — they were polite, efficient, and clearly trained to handle high-level events. One thing that stood out was how clean and well-maintained everything was. The restrooms were spotless, the air conditioning was consistent throughout the building, and the catering services were handled with care. We were served a mix of Balinese and international dishes, and everything was fresh and tasty. There were even options for vegetarian and halal meals, which was a thoughtful touch for international guests. The only minor issue I encountered was the limited on-site parking. However, there were shuttle services available from nearby lots, and many attendees used hotel transport anyway, so it wasn’t a huge problem. All in all, BNDCC is a world-class venue. It’s clear that a lot of thought and investment has gone into creating a space that not only looks good but also functions smoothly for events of all sizes. I would 100% recommend this convention center for business events, expos, academic conferences, and even large weddings or private functions. The blend of professionalism and Balinese hospitality makes it a standout choice in Southeast Asia. I’m looking forward to returning here again, whether as a guest or participant. Very good place to host a conference - been there for BATIC25. Plenty of space, common areas, private meeting rooms and stages. Right next to the hotel, so it’s easy to go to your rooms or to have a break on the beach.

The BICC was designed to cater to a wide range of events such as conferences, exhibitions, seminars, and meetings. It has a total area of 5,350 square meters and can accommodate up to 10,000 delegates. The convention center features state-of-the-art facilities, including a main hall that can be divided into three separate sections, a spacious foyer, and a VIP room. It also has a variety of smaller meeting rooms that can be configured to accommodate different group sizes and types of events. The BICC is located just 20 minutes away from Bali's Ngurah Rai International Airport and is surrounded by a variety of hotels, resorts, and restaurants. It is an ideal location for hosting international events, as it provides world-class facilities, a beautiful setting, and easy access to Bali's many attractions.
