"A four-star property set on a narrow stretch of white sand just north of Nusa Dua, arranged around a lush garden courtyard with multiple room types, three restaurants, five bars and a large pool featuring a swim-up bar. All-inclusive bookings cover buffet-style meals, high tea and unlimited drinks, plus a lively schedule of activities and entertainment such as mini golf, windsurfing, catamaran excursions and snorkeling; note that certain extras—like the in-room minibar, babysitting and motorized water sports—are excluded." - Evie Carrick Evie Carrick Evie Carrick is a writer and editor who’s lived in five countries and visited well over 50. What a beautiful, clean and well maintained resort and spa hotel. We spent 10 wonderful nights at this balinese style accommodation. It was very clean and tidy and the staff are a credit to the hotel. They were all very pleasant and friendly, which makes such a difference to any holiday. The food was delicious with plenty of choice at breakfast. The grounds had well maintained, lush gardens with many different trees, plants and shrubs and beautiful water features. I cannot fault this resort at all.

The accommodation in a bungalow was a large space and very comfortable. Staff cleaned and made up the room everyday and nothing was too much trouble for them. The air con worked well and was quiet. On the downside the lighting in the bathroom area over the basin was very poor. |Breakfast was very good and the staff were charming and helpful. |We had one dinner in the hotel which we thought was quite small in size and disappointing in flavour. We had one lunch and unfortunately felt the same way about that.|The hotel grounds are very pretty and beautifully kept. |The entertainment was, for what we saw was okay, all finished by 9.30.|The pool music was too loud and at times annoying. Not relaxing. We suggest more popular music rather than loud banging music. |The reception staff were welcoming and helpful. |The security and staff outside the hotel, crossing people over the road was a very good thing.|Overall we enjoyed our stay.

We stayed here for 4 nights and we wish we stayed longer! It was just the getaway we needed, the staff were friendly and accommodating. Our room was perfect. The food was excellent and had great variety of western and local Indonesian options, there were also plenty of activities available from kite surfing to cooking classes or just relaxing by the pool or beach. We will be back!

I stayed here for 2 nights as a solo traveller. Was actually positively surprised by how beautiful this resort was, better than the photos which is unusual. The surroundings were amazing, beautiful low buildings and a lot lush greenery. Pool and beach area were really nice too. The only downside was (as everywhere) that hotel guests can’t behave and ”book” the sun beds early in the morning and then don’t show until later. I think the hotel could be a little more strict about that. Excellent breakfast I will definitely recommend this place as a very good option to the more expensive resorts in the neighbourhood.

The most authentic hotel we’ve ever stayed at in Bali — and that says a lot, since there are plenty of such places on the island! 😅 The pictures don’t do it justice — it’s absolutely beautiful and full of atmosphere. The breakfast is amazing, and the rooms are a dream!

We booked two interconnecting bungalow rooms 4 months in advance of our trip (we have previously stayed in the same type of room and know it is an option they have at this resort). This was not cheap (roughly $450AUD a night). Upon arrival to the resort, we were told this room was not available as they were fully booked. After much debate with the reception staff, we were given an "upgrade" to a hotel apartment room in the hotel side of the resort. The room itself was nice but we didnt want to have to wait and use elevators all day, the view from the window was of dirty rooftops, rubbish piles and electricity lines. We were constantly being told this is a good room upgrade as it included "club-only" use of the rooftop pool (we preferred the ground level pool with our kids anyway). Upon letting staff know we were disappointed with this change and the fact we were unaware the rooms we had booked werent available for our stay until we had physically arrived for check-in, they set up a meeting with the manager for us that afternoon.|We met with the manager and he offered us an apology then let us know that other people had booked to stay for longer periods so they got priority on these bungalow room bookings over us even if we booked them earlier?! He said we would get the bungalow from the next day but for one night we would have to stay in the apartment. He also gave us a voucher for a free dinner and spa treatment then cut the meeting off and walked away. Dinner was nice but didnt make up for the $450/night for a room we booked and didnt receive.|We never got the bungalow the next day as promised by the manager and finished up our stay there still in the apartment.|We wont be coming back to bali tropic and wish we were told in advance that the bungalows werent available to us as I would have much preferred to book elsewhere.||VERYYYYY DISSAPPOINTED!

We stayed at Bali Tropic Resort & Spa for 9 nights, and it was truly a wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the warm hospitality. Every morning, we looked forward to the breakfast buffet—not just for the food, but for the lovely ambiance and the genuinely friendly staff who greeted us with smiles and were always ready to assist with anything we needed. The rooms, while slightly outdated in terms of decor, were kept very clean and were serviced almost daily, which made our stay comfortable. The pool is on the smaller side, but it was still a great spot to relax and swim—it served its purpose perfectly. One of the highlights of the resort is the beautifully maintained grounds. The lush greenery and traditional Balinese design create a peaceful, tropical atmosphere that’s perfect for a relaxing getaway. Another bonus is the convenience store located just across the street—super handy for grabbing essentials or snacks without having to go far. Overall, Bali Tropic Resort & Spa gave us a memorable stay, and we’d happily return for another relaxing holiday in Nusa Dua.
