Bali Zoo

We had a great day out at this zoo. All the staff are so friendly and the place is clean. The shuttle bus was helpful getting to other areas of the zoo as it was quite a walk especially with kids. There are food carts in a lot of areas and the cafes onsite are great. We would definitely recommend.

Dayu is friendly. she helps our family taking photos and videoing. Rias, Astini, adi, ari and dewa behind close doors programs were was very cool, got to feed the tigers, lions and elephants, and were able to see other animals. Recommend everyone should come. Really good family place to visit. Love animals❤️❤️

One of the best zoo in Indonesia, containing many Indonesian domestic and foreign animals... There's difference line for local tourist and foreign one, not sure why. Ticket is quite affordable and worth the price... Due to this spacious grounds of zoo and high humidity, you better wear loose clothes and bring enough water (even tho there are many food and snack merchants... Love this zoo

The place feels like stepping into a Pinterest dream, with beautiful scenery, lush nature, and so many perfect photo spots everywhere you look. The animals are amazing and well cared for, and the interactive experiences make you feel connected to them in a way that goes far beyond just watching. From feeding different species to touching them and learning about their behavior, every moment feels special and unforgettable. One of the highlights for me was the educational sessions — learning about birds, eagles, and other animals up close. It’s not just a zoo, it’s a place where you learn, feel, and connect deeply with nature. The staff is incredibly kind, passionate, and helpful — they truly love the animals and make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. A tip: buy your tickets in advance! That way you can enter right away without waiting in line, and enjoy the experience more smoothly. Bali Zoo is not just a place for kids — it’s a beautiful adventure for everyone. I really enjoyed my time here. I went around midday on a Wednesday and there were very few people there. They had large roped areas for lines for tickets and the shuttle - however I never had to line up. Everything was smooth. I thought it would be super hot, but they’ve done a great job with shaded footpaths. The grounds are beautifully landscaped. All the enclosures felt well cared for and clean. A highlight for me was feeding the Lemurs! For 200k you could feed them. They had someone who could take photos of you using your own phone (great for me as I was alone). I wish they had a clear schedule for feeding times so you know when they are doing it. I just happened to show up at the right time There are plenty of food options with both restaurants and snack shops.

We visited Bali Zoo, and the experience was truly wonderful. A special thanks to Wahyudi — she is kind, attentive, and helped us with everything we needed. There were a normal amount of visitors, but we expected it to be much more crowded on a weekend, so the calm atmosphere was a pleasant surprise. The zoo is large, well-maintained, and perfect for walking around. Feeding the elephant was one of the highlights — a fun and unique activity suitable for any age. Great experience for kids. They have a lot of animals and birds and all are kept nicely and with much love, you can feed the animals for some small fees. Nice cafes for food and refreshments. We lost one sunglasses and the staff found and returned it. Buying ticket online maybe cheaper.
