Balisani Suites Hotel

My experience was utterly disappointing! Balisani has the foundations to be a Great resort but the building is so run down and in need of major renovations. ||Unfortunately I did not enjoy my stay at all and couldn’t get out of the place fast enough. I booked 6 nights from 27/12 to 2 Jan. I tried looking for other accommodation after the first night but being NY I couldn’t find anything until 30/12. Day 3 I got very sick and was too unwell to leave so ended up there 4 nights. ||I urge travellers reading reviews to take note of the lower reviews as they were spot on. Do not book this hotel. When booking I focussed on the positive reviews and photos of the pool and grounds. ||Some positive feedback:||The staff are friendly/polite and did the best they could given the circumstances they have to work under. ||The grounds/landscaping area was maintained well. ||This is where it ends. The rooms dining area and pool area need significant renovations. The hotel was dark old,had no ambience and felt like a dirt cheap hostel. ||Room: air con poor, plumbing problems, bed rock hard. Felt dirty smelt of mould. ||The pool area needs some wind protection as it blew strong winds the whole time and is not pleasant to relax. ||Location: not good too far away from the nice parts of Seminyak. Beach is filthy. ||Please owners do some major renovation and it might be good.

We are so disappointed in our stay here at Balisani. The only positive experience we had here were the friendly staff. Here are some of the reasons we didn’t like our stay. - we initially booked a room with 2 seperate beds which is highly necessary due to my mothers health. On arrival we were informed that they were only able to provide 1 king bed even though I had my booking slip which clearly stated payment for 2 seperate beds…. - The hotel WIFI doesn’t reach the back of the premises so we were left without WIFI most of our stay. I work from my laptop so this was extremely inconvenient resulting in me having to work from the lobby which has no air conditioning. - the showers have a 2 minute hot water timer meaning some nights 1 of us had to go without a shower and go to bed dirty. - the swimming pool is unfinished and I presentable. The pool bar was dirty and very poorly maintained. - hotel features such as the entryway fountains and water features throughout were not maintained during COVID so they do not work anymore. The total presentation of this hotel was poor. I would highly recommend reading hotel reviews before booking them due to the false advertising many of the hotels have.

A serene resort with a few minor issues.|I will cover the review in detail. So this place is right next to a beach with a beautiful view. The pool is also very nice with a built in jacuzzi which is very nice to sit in. Do mind that the major part of pool is deep at almost 8 feet but still it’s very nice.||I had a private pool suite with ocean view which was very nice and had garden view room which was also very very nice , almost made me question the price of private pool suite with ocean view . But all in all both were very nice. |The room has all basic amenities and the best part was a Swedish massage right at the ocean for just 10 dollars. The food was also great and hospitality was also very good. Their breakfast setup is also very good right next to an ocean. I just had 2 minor complaints: |a) the water in bathroom is not desalinated which makes brushing teeth & showering quite bad experience. |b) Food should be a bit reasonably priced. I found price 20% higher quoted for same type of foods found at different hotels.|Therefore I would give it 4.3/5.|Also do check out atlas club which is very close to the resort.

Excellent property and the location. I booked this place just for 2 days when we arrived as it was cheaper on the base rooms. The property is very beautiful and we ended up in extending our stay. The vibe is amazing, it has very intricate stone work done. The pool area is very good facing the beach, the staff is super friendly. And we had to leave early in the morning for Gilis T , they even packed a lot of breakfast for us without even asking. The food was okay. But as I am a vegetarian my every demand was met beautifully

The resort location is very pretty. The sea view is awesome. Their service is very good. They have upgraded the room to a suite for two days without any extra charges. And also the best thing was they clean the room everyday and give new stuffs. A very pleasant stay at a very good price. Complementary breakfast they have a big buffet which is very good.

Nice resort , great ambience n atmosphere. Stayed for 3 nights in the junior suite during my honeymoon. Beach nearby, a few restaurants around.|Service is good , staff are polite.|Seminyak town about 5km away, lots of taxi available. If you do not like hotel food, there is a nice affordable Cafe just beside the Hotel.

This place was beautiful. Old styled Balinese traditional hotel. Very lovely staff, the room we had was massive. Even the bath room was big, there was a bath as well which was great. I’ll definitely be back. It was great to have easy access to the beach and it’s located in a quiet area, wasn’t busy roads. Thank you to the lovely staff for going above and beyond to make our stay very relaxing holiday.

While the hotel offered a decent breakfast, its age was showing. The pillows in our room had a distinct musty smell, though thankfully, they were promptly replaced upon request. Unfortunately, the surrounding environment proved to be a major drawback. The constant croaking of frogs and other nocturnal wildlife made for very restless nights. Furthermore, the location was incredibly inconvenient; a mere 10km journey by car could easily take two hours due to heavy traffic. The staff also presented a mixed experience, with some members being genuinely helpful and others exhibiting strange behavior.
