At a short notice after our accomodation in Kalgoorlie was cancelled on us they were accomodating for my family including our doggo and helped us enjoy our night here , service and staff were friendly and met with a smile , sadly the restaurant wasn’t great had to send back 3 out of 4 dishes due to being dry , burnt , over cooked but eventually got it right ! We slept amazing in comfy beds in a nice clean tidy room and was very happy and would recommend staying here to travellers !

Stayed overnight & were given a queen room with ensuite of $190. Room #2 what a discovery! Looked like fur growing on the wall where the bed area was & boy, that ensuite looked like a brown liquid coming from gaps in shower area, so old BUT the bed was clean & comfortable.

I have booked this place after reading the reviews but oh boy was i in for a surprise. The only reason i'm giving them 2 stars is because the staff was nice and the beds were nice and clean. The smell from the carpets was horrendous and just the overall look of the room and bathroom is so outdated, it definitely needs updating. With understanding that its remote and in the middle of nowhere, you would expect at least something decent for $235 a night.

Service at check in was good, also had a comp room upgrade due to maintenance issues which was a bonus. Wouldn't recommend the thai beef salad at restaurant - the beef didn't taste like real meat, the salad was fresh but the sauce wasn't great. The service was good though. Not regarding the hotel but this town didn't feel very safe for a solo traveller.

I was absolutely thrilled with the service at the Balladonia Motel. I’d accidentally left my pillows in the room, and I didn’t realise until I was 400+k away. I emailed them and they kept them nicely wrapped up until my return 6 weeks later. We enjoyed the room and the food there was AMAZING. HIGHLY RECOMMEND people stopped and staying.

We have stayed here on previous trips across Nullabor, was OK place to rest for the night. Seems to have changed owner (website/branding different). Just went to book for a december trip, it is now "No pets" (it used to be), which is very dissapointing. No more business from us. If you are going to have a motel out in remote areas, you need to be able to accomodate the whole family. Take a leaf from Eucla Motel's book.
