Such a wonderful, unexpectedly delightful experience! The property is so gorgeously presented, with lovely stylish details recalling Edwardian elegance. The keypad access / checking system is excellent. The bed is incredibly comfortable: hard to get out of bed! The complimentary continental breakfast made us remember those in Rome. We also took advantage of the happy hour cocktails and decided to stay for dinner, which was delightful! A genuinely gorgeous, welcoming and romantic getaway!

A fabulous old building beautifully restored and maintained makes you feel like you have been transported back to a more refined and genteel time. The feel of the place is complemented by superb service with attention to detail that makes staying at the Manor a truely unique and special experience. The dining experience in the restaurant was also superb. We will make the Manor our ‘go to’ place to stay in Ballina from now on.

Highly recommend this beautiful cosy hotel in Ballina The rooms are spacious but feel cosy with comfy bed and lots of cushions Small touches like local bath products and fluffy dressing gowns make you feel welcome Each room has access to the veranda but still maintains the feel of privacy and the electronic key code entry is very convenient. Simple yet delicious beakfast is welcome. Definitely would choose this hotel when we return to Ballina. If the restaurant is closed for winter we recommend Che Bon which is closeby. Great food and wine.

All I want to do is give this place a high rating, but I cannot. I can only rate based on my experience which would completely differ if I was here to stay up late or a night on the town.. but I'm here for work. After working 4 days straight with very little rest, and needing to be awake at dawn to drive to QLD, all I wanted was an early night in a nice accommodation. I chose this place as it was in a residential area and expected quiet. Bass and music pumping from the accommodation, presumably from the restaurant well after sunset, on a week night. The accommodation was genuinely beautiful, so much to offer, but don't stay here if you want an early night or have an early start... there's no sleeping. Really disappointed that a Manor is playing loud music, on a week night. I write this just after 9pm, but who knows how much longer it'll go on for. If the owner is reading this, please, the music and heavy bass is not necessary! Edit: still going at 9.45PM and continued for a while longer. Seriously disappointing given how lovely the venue is

Built in 1926, this character filled Manor is charming. Rooms are on the ground, first and second levels. I stayed for a week in room 9, their spa suite on the second floor, and had a delightful view to the pool area. Friendly, helpful, and welcoming staff made my stay very pleasant 😊 A particular shout out to my lovely hosts, as well as Mia, Victoria, and the 5 star chef! I dined on char grilled king prawns, kingfish ceviche, steak that melted in my mouth, and sipped on French cognac on the outdoor deck and watched superb sun sets! Dining reservations can be booked for a délicieuse evening here, even if you're not booked into a room. The food was out of this world, and I strongly urge any visitor to the Ballina area to dine here. You won't be disappointed. I guarantee it! A short walk along Norton St, and you'll find Ballina Information Centre and all the shops one could want from cafes to Woolworths to hair salons and an all exciting water park. The beds at the Manor are super comfy with pillows to suit, and the windows open for a nice flow of air whenever you need. Rooms are immaculately clean, and the mini fridge is stocked with three fresh bottles of filtered water and a bottle of full cream milk. A choice of pod coffee or instant and tea as well as a good supply of sugar. I loved my stay here, and it will always be my preferred choice whenever I'm in the area ❤️

We stayed for just one night but wish it was longer. The Manor is a beautiful old building and has been very tastefully refurbished. The staff are very friendly, we had drinks at happy hour and also dinner there in the evening which we very much enjoyed. Highly recommended and would stay again.
