Built in 1926, this character filled Manor is charming. Rooms are on the ground, first and second levels. I stayed for a week in room 9, their spa suite on the second floor, and had a delightful view to the pool area.
Friendly, helpful, and welcoming staff made my stay very pleasant 😊 A particular shout out to my lovely hosts, as well as Mia, Victoria, and the 5 star chef!
I dined on char grilled king prawns, kingfish ceviche, steak that melted in my mouth, and sipped on French cognac on the outdoor deck and watched superb sun sets! Dining reservations can be booked for a délicieuse evening here, even if you're not booked into a room. The food was out of this world, and I strongly urge any visitor to the Ballina area to dine here. You won't be disappointed. I guarantee it!
A short walk along Norton St, and you'll find Ballina Information Centre and all the shops one could want from cafes to Woolworths to hair salons and an all exciting water park.
The beds at the Manor are super comfy with pillows to suit, and the windows open for a nice flow of air whenever you need. Rooms are immaculately clean, and the mini fridge is stocked with three fresh bottles of filtered water and a bottle of full cream milk. A choice of pod coffee or instant and tea as well as a good supply of sugar.
I loved my stay here, and it will always be my preferred choice whenever I'm in the area ❤️
