Absolutely fantastic accommodation - Gerry and Pauline are terrific hosts and could not be more helpful. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable and well appointed. The breakfast is amazing and delicious. Highly recommended!

Fabulous authentic stay. The lovely atmosphere created by Gerry & Pauline is exceptional. The breakfast spoils one for choice, an abundance of fruit and an extensive menu to choose from. If you are trying to decide where to stay in this area, pick the Ballyvaughan lodge. Absolutely brilliant. Our hosts were personal and as gracious as they come. Would come back any time and stay for a week! Follow Gerry’s advice and be sure to reserve a table at one of the local restaurants. Not a ton to choose from but that’s a minor thing compared to the stay here. We had a king size bed. Room was quiet. Breakfast was to die for! Loved it all.

Gerry and Pauline have been the best hosts. They both knew us by name and made us felt very welcomed. The room was comfortable, warm and spotless. The breakfast is spectacular with multiple options and served with care. The are plenty of things to do and visit on the are so we will definitely come back soon. From the warm reception of Jerry (and his extraordinary ability of remembering each one of us by name) to the comfort of the facilities, the amazing breakfast and the quiet and homely atmosphere. Our stay here was a fabulous experience. Gerry & Pauline are the most gracious hosts and were most welcoming. Our bedroom and bathroom were perfect and the night so peaceful. This was all topped by the exquisite breakfast served and cooked by this amazing couple. So many courses, fresh, quality food, homemade breads and my favourite a hot pot of tea made with tea leaves. This couple pay such attention to detail that can't be found anywhere else. They are unique, they're beautiful together. You'd think they knew you all of your life. They're amazing. Stay here, you couldn't be disappointed. They could give cookery and gardening courses and would be well attended. Many thanks to you both, Angela & Frank Kearney.

Beautiful Guesthouse. Gerry and Pauline go out of their way to make your stay wonderful. They have great advice on local attractions and where to eat. Amazing breakfast with lots of choice. Great location too, Ballyvaughan is a great base to explore this part of West Clare. Would definitely stay here again.

Gerry and Pauline offer a wonderful welcome from the start. They are friendly, accommodating hosts and the guesthouse itself is modern, wonderfully decorated and offers private, safe car parking. The gardens and outdoor seating are great too - expertly maintained and a joy to sit in over a coffee. Gerry and Pauline offer the perfect breakfast - have as much or as little as you want, but i guarantee you will be satisfied Location is perfect to explore all of County Clare, with excellent connections to main roads and tourist trails on the doorstep. With a number of shops, bars and restaurants close by, Gerry and Pauline can also offer expert advice on things to do in the local area - attractions to visit, drives to go on and of course the best food and drinks. My room (including ensuite) was spotlessly clean and it contained everything you would expect. I had a wonderful experience staying at Ballyvaughan Lodge, i couldn't recommended it more, and hope to be back soon!
