An absolutely gorgeous stay! The room was fantastic, great bathroom, and all really clean! The owners are super friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is absolutely gorgeous! If you're in or around Aberfeldy (which you should be because Aberfeldy is such an amazing place!) then highly recommend Balnearn House, it's absolutely ideal!

Fabulous first stop on our Scotland coast 500 journey. Beautiful house ran by a lovely couple. House was quiet, comfy bed, car park spacious option to use a communal sitting room. The breakfast was outstanding hot fresh and so tasty!!! A must visit if visiting the area.

A Victorian era house with spacious bedrooms nicely appointed for the most discerning guests. Breakfast is served in a clean spacious lounge where the outside gardens can be viewed. The countryside comes alive with sounds of local birdlife and an abundance of places to walk and drive to. Pubs and restaurants are plentiful offering a large choice of culinary cuisine. Art studios, Castles, Whiskey distilleries, Lochs and bike tracks offer the more adventurous a number of escapes and venues to visit. Well worth a stay. Mark and Claire are the perfect hosts.

After the good reviews on the Internet, I expected much more. . The hostess herself was very friendly, but only saw her on arrival and departure. Her husband Mark took over the breakfast Service. When we came back in the evening next day, we realized that no room service had taken place. , We should have told them , if we like to have done our room , which is very unusual.. Mark booked us a table in the nearby restaurant. The next day at breakfast he was not very talkative as a host. The question of the recommendation, whether it liked, was also absent. You didn't feel like there were a really intrest in the Guest. The day after,we were given the coffee at breakfadt and this time a good morning was completely out of it. Not a nice word, nothing. Myself I travel a lot and I have never experienced so little interest in the guest. The house is very nice, unfortunately the professional in giving the guests a Welcome feeling is missing., We love England, so we have been travelling all over , and we can tell the diffrent very well. |As a host it can be so much nicer if you pay more attention to details and in your guests,

Beautiful bed and breakfast in an ideal location. We were greeted by Mark and shown to our immaculate room. We walked across the road to a path by the river that leads a very short walk to the main square. The town is beautiful and we enjoyed a drink on the front porch. I truly believe this place deserves the 5 star rating I gave it.

Good job

We had such an incredible experience here! The service and staff was amazing. They have an option for a customizable breakfast, and in all honesty the food served was fantastic! The place is also really close to the Birks of Aberfeldy which was nice to walk around in! The town is cute, and it’s a short distance away from the Scottish Crannog center which was really cool to visit and can be easily accessed by either car or bus! Highly recommend this place, and in all of the places we stayed during our trip, this one was my favorite!

Here we are again!|We have been coming here for over 10 years and we would not have it any other way . |Mark & Claire always make us feel very welcome, the house is always spotless & the bedrooms have everything you could possibly want, comfortable bed & lovely decor.|Any breakfast that you choose is always freshly made & served with a smile .|We read in a June review, that Mark was “quiet” at breakfast which we find very surprising & hard to believe as there is always a jolly good morning plenty of little chats with guests.|We are already booked in for Hogmanay & July next year .||Highly recommended.||Cathryn & Roy Kelly

Excellent location, all the restuarants and bars are within five minutes walk. As well the Birks o' Aberfeldy are literally across the road. Lovely room, decent bed and breakfast was quality.||Everything about the area is on tap. We just parked up and adventured; or in my case dissappeared around Loch Tay and up and over Ben Lawers into the glen.
