Balquisse Heritage Hotel

A tranquil, aesthetically whimsical and beautifully styled hotel, with lovely gardens and lots of pretty spaces to relax and enjoy the surroundings. It's a quiet hotel to relax and listen to the birdsong. The yoga shala is perfect, set amongst the trees and a lemongrass field its light and airy and very well equipped. The yoga instructor was excellent, providing interesting and varied classes every day. We loved the vintage jeep and were able to be driven to local restaurants in it which was fun. The restaurant menu for lunch and dinner is very good, with plenty of gluten free options. We enjoyed all our meals there. All staff members were friendly and helpful.

We spent almost a week here for our holiday and absolutely loved it! The entire place is stunning, we heard it was designed by a Moroccan designer, and you can really feel the unique aesthetic and storytelling throughout the hotel. Every detail reflects the designer’s artistic vision and taste. The hotel shop was also a lovely surprise — I ended up buying several small jewelry. A special thanks to Jimmy, the hotel manager, who took great care of us during our stay. He was very professional and helped us solve quite a few things with patience and care. The location is also super convenient — only 15 minutes from the airport. Highly recommend!

An absolute gem of a hotel. From the minute you walk in to this oasis of calm, tranquility, and rustic heritage, you realise how the family owners have crafted a piece of magic amidst the chaos outside. Service superb, food outstanding, room delightful, and to hear the sound of birds chirping away whilst you relax at one of the pools was heaven. We managed to get a couple of spa treatments in which were also excellent. Thank you for a memorable stay.

We had the most wonderful 3-night stay at this beautiful hotel. We didn’t want to leave! Everything was just perfect—the food, the spa, the room, the yoga, and above all, the amazing staff who made us feel so welcome. We can’t wait to come back!

This is difficult to find the words to describe this place. It’s a very unique hotel, the decoration is gorgeous, you are travelling in the past. You will be fully disconnected from the outside world. You wish it will never end. The free morning yoga class is outstanding. One of our favorite hotel in Bali.

The resort is absolutely beautiful, it feels like being on a movie set—spotless, well kept, and perfectly decorated. The staff is always friendly and helpful, the food is really good, and the complimentary services are just the cherry on top. Definitely recommended for 3–4 days of real relaxation.

My fiancée and I stayed three nights at Balquisse Heritage Hotel for our pre-wedding shoot and engagement dinner — it was unforgettable. The vintage charm of the hotel is stunning, and every corner feels so thoughtfully curated. Huge thanks to Jimmy and the amazing team for helping us set up a beautiful romantic dinner. Though our schedule was tight and I didn’t get to enjoy everything (still thinking about the tea time I missed!), my fiancée loved the pool, and the ambience was just perfect. We’ll definitely be back as this place now holds such a special memory for us.🤍

My wife and I stayed there for a week in April 2024 and we were in so enchanted by the absolute peacefulness and scenery of the hotel facilities and pools. We decided to revisit again this year in August 25. On both occasions we were captivated not only by the spacious scenery, but the wonderful caring staff and from the owner Zohra who personally attended to our every need, also her office staff Ikumi and Rose and the cheerful restaurant, front desk staff as well thank you all. Balquisse is the most perfect place to unwind, relax, read and simply enjoy everything the hotel and Bali provides including a sip of wine at sundown.
