Balquisse Heritage Hotel

What a find! The Balquisse Hotel is an absolute hidden gem. From the hustle bustle of the streets you enter a magical haven that you cannot believe is there. It is beautiful, peaceful and the attention to detail is second to none . What makes it even more special is the wonderful staff! Nothing is too much for any of them. A fantastic team! I cannot recommend this hotel more highly!. Don’t hesitate to book a stay here. You will be blown away. If we return to Bali in the future we will definitely pay another visit.

The Balquisse Heritage Hotel is truly magical - a hidden gem. Step off the busy street and suddenly you’re in a world of calm and antique splendour. Slow your pace, breath and let the serenity take over. Stay a while, allow the tranquility to seep in and work its magic. ||The food was superb, with standout breakfasts and exceptional g&ts.||Many thanks to the wonderful staff, special mention to beautiful Tina, the yoga teacher in the Sheba Salon, Amik in the dinning room, and Andre on reception - apologies to those whose names we didn’t catch, including our lovely chauffeur.||We have found a new happy place and cannot wait to go back ❤️

Just go! An amazing place you don’t want to leave. Many beautiful places to lounge and relax and to have drinks and meals. The yoga space is incredible. We stayed three nights which is needed to really get into the pace of this wonderful establishment. And lastly, the staff are amazing.

We didn’t stay here, but honestly — we fell completely in love with this place the moment we walked in. Balquisse Heritage feels like a hidden treasure, full of soul and vintage charm. Every corner is so thoughtfully designed — warm lights, rustic details, and that peaceful, romantic vibe that just makes you want to stay forever. It’s one of those places that instantly slows you down and makes you dream about coming back. The garden, the atmosphere, even the scent of the air — everything feels intimate and special. We’re already planning to return and actually stay next time — because this place truly stole our hearts.

A tranquil, aesthetically whimsical and beautifully styled hotel, with lovely gardens and lots of pretty spaces to relax and enjoy the surroundings. It's a quiet hotel to relax and listen to the birdsong. The yoga shala is perfect, set amongst the trees and a lemongrass field its light and airy and very well equipped. The yoga instructor was excellent, providing interesting and varied classes every day. We loved the vintage jeep and were able to be driven to local restaurants in it which was fun. The restaurant menu for lunch and dinner is very good, with plenty of gluten free options. We enjoyed all our meals there. All staff members were friendly and helpful.

Such an incredible place for a true reset. The gardens, the staff, the location, and the overall atmosphere made us feel completely spoilt and privileged to stay here. It was beautifully quiet with very few people around, and even though we were right in the middle of Jimbarran Bay, you couldn’t hear any traffic at all — it was truly amazing.

An absolute gem of a hotel. From the minute you walk in to this oasis of calm, tranquility, and rustic heritage, you realise how the family owners have crafted a piece of magic amidst the chaos outside. Service superb, food outstanding, room delightful, and to hear the sound of birds chirping away whilst you relax at one of the pools was heaven. We managed to get a couple of spa treatments in which were also excellent. Thank you for a memorable stay.

When driving in i was very worried as it looked shabby but realised that part did not belong to the Hotel. The location and service are remarkable and its so quiet and serene. A huge property well maintained and its like stepping back in time. The details are extraordinary. Highly recommend this Hotel.
