Great site with excellent facilities. We stayed here for 1 night, we used the online booking system to book on the day and when we arrived our pitch number and name were on the whiteboard. The reception staff were helpful with any queries and pointed out all the facilities. Toilets and showers were immaculate. Nice touch of having a proper hairdryer and mirror in the ladies' out of the way of the sinks. Lovely walk over to the beach and food available at the Dunes Cabin and the 24/7 larder.

We stayed here in our campervan for a total of five nights at the end of September / Early October and found every aspect of our stay to be perfect. The site is easy to find and well signposted and it was lovely to be met by person in reception who answered all our questions and explained everything about the site. The location, just a few metres from a very beautiful and calm bay, is just superb. The (heated) facilities were absolutely spotless every time we used them. You pay £1 for a shower but you get 7.5 minutes which is absolutely plenty in reality. There's a drying room and even a brilliant pop-up cafe a few days a week. For a slice of cake, a fancy bite to eat or a coffee there is the 24/7 self-service Larder right next door. All in all a thoroughly recommendable site and one that we will be back to without hesitation when we next visit. Be sure to do the 2 hour walk around the headlands from the campsite whilst you're there for absolutely stunning views over to St Kilda.

Quiet, literally a moment away from a lovely beach. It has a stationary food Shack and a self catering building with a couple tables. The food at the food Shack is all homemade and delicious. We had a scallop bacon sandwich, homemade leek and potato soup and amazing coconut and lime cake all reasonably priced and delicious. Since the weather was rainy we carried our food to the self catering building and ate there where we purchased and enjoyed decaf cappuccino. We are long haul cyclist and it was wonderful to get homemade food. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and the showers and restrooms are taken care of several times a day and kept very clean. They have a small area with a refrigerator, hot pot and microwave and for washing dishes and doing laundry. Additionally we were able to buy a half dozen of fresh eggs! The only suggest would be that they had more tables in the self-catering area as the eight chairs and Two tables were full.

Best campsite I’ve stayed at in the Outer Hebrides so far! Lovely, modern, clean facilities. Friendly, helpful staff. And the setting so close to the beach and looking out over crofting land next to the RSPB reserve is fantastic. So much bird life around. AND 7.5mins in the shower for £1! Couldn’t believe it after a week of £1 for 3mins. The larder next door is a really neat idea for grabbing bits and pieces to eat 24hrs a day - handy if you get caught short on a late arrival or by Sunday closing. Loved this site, can’t say enough good things about it. Wish I could have stayed longer and I’ll definitely be back.

For campers, caravan era and those with motor homes, this site is excellent. Staff very friendly and ablutions blocks very good. Worth booking ahead as several nights it has been fully booked. Quiet, close to a beach and good for dogs and children. The pitches all have electricity, but are not fully serviced. Given the distribution of taps, this is not a problem. Out closest water point is 10m away. Café on site with stupendous food and a self service shop selling everything from cooked lobster to ice cream and gluten free brownies.

Great campsite with very clean facilities. The beach just over the dunes is fabulous and good for long dog walks. Lovely sun rises and sunsets. Friendly owners/staff. Would definitely recommend

Great campsite with friendly staff great facilities and right by the beach. There is a food van on site but it's only open for part of the week. Has free WiFi but you pay extra for the showers. Only campsite we stayed at with a drying room, which is useful on the Isles.

We didn't stay here, but came to visit three RSPB nature reserve. It got a bit wet, so we called in to grab some hot food - we had scallops and bacon baps an oat milk latte and hot chocolate with all the trimmings. Really tasty treat and there's also an indoor vending place for shelter to eat. The beach just over the hill is the best I've ever seen- a stunning horseshoe bay with shallow water seemingly for miles! 😍🐶🚶‍♀️🚶❤️
