Dinner set menu (~25 euros) was pretty worth it, the spinach salad stood out (with tomato balsamic vinegar) and the dessert (house special, Tim something?) was delicious but heavy. The paella and the grilled prawns were lacking in comparison.

Food was delicious-Spanish-Asian fusion. Service was great. Staff very friendly. Had homemade cod fritters with romesco sauce, crispy eggplant with sweet chili sauce (Thai), spinach salad with goat cheese shavings, pine nuts & tomato jam, and oxtail in wine sauce with soft parmantier.

We chose to dine at this restaurant because it's located right next to our hotel. Bad choice indeed. We waited for half an hour just to get the menu and another half for someone to take our order. We ordered a cheeseburger which was almost raw and its side fries were cold. For dessert we had the smallest and worst crema catalana we've ever had. The only tasteful dish on the table was the croqueta. When we were trying to get the bill the waiter noticed us clearly but continued to talk to another waiter. The entire experience at this restaurant was very disappointing.

The food was great! We loved the cod and Catalina crème. Joel was amazing! The food came out super quick! We would highly recommend.

The servers are very polite and welcoming and caters to the wishes of the customers. The food is also highly recommended, very tasty. Overall, the restaurant has a very pleasant atmosphere and very friendly servers. Greetings to Rodriog, Gloris, and Victor (very nice names).

Our time in the restaurant was amazing. David and Ping one of the best waiters in Barcelona. They helped us choosing the best meal. The atmosphere is wonderful everything is clean. 100% recommended place! Thank you guys once again!

The food was great and reasonably priced, and the service by Victor Biane was excellent, he was friendly, professional, and we even got a treat at the end of our meal. Highly recommend!

It's a huge restaurant so it can accommodate large group right away without having to rearrange the tables. It opens at 8pm not 9apm as shown on their website. Ask for Ping, the waiter, he is excellent and is honest about the foods and wine. We had the steak, truffle pasta, fried ravioli and they are all very good. They also have a fixed-price menu and a menu for vegetarian/vegan. As for the price, it's reasonable. Strongly recommend this restaurant.

My first international post! This restaurant came highly recommended and it didn't disappoint. Went as a group and everything was deeply flavorful. There were a lot of wine choices, as expected...it is Spain! The lamb and octopus are must tries. The restaurant has low lighting so good for a romantic date. There was a group raucous guys dressed as Julius Caesar's chanting and singing in the street as we left and we joined in and took pics and videos with them. Lol. Overall fun night.

Great place though I may be biased because we had a large group special with a fixed menu for dinner. Ambience is dark, nice, and intimate. Drinks are good, and food is decently priced. Presentation of the food was excellent as well. Appetizer- salad with crispy goat, mango, and balsamic vinaigrette was very delicious. The fried goat cheese was great. Entree- tuna tataki was also tasteful and delicious with an Asian zing. Dessert- desserts for chocolate fans was AMAZING if you are a chocolate fan. Super rich brownie and super rich chocolate ice cream. Actually ate the entire thing and licked the plate along with the feast of the group Great place in a nice area. Highly recommended.

Fantastic prix fixe menu and open late! I've been there twice and was pleased on both occasions. The goat cheese salad, pork tenderloin medallions and mushroom risotto were definitely favorites. Great location and open late. If you're going at "prime dinner hour", which is late in Barcelona, typically 2100hr make online reservations as it's very easy to do. There is plenty to choose from on the 2 different prix fixe menus but their regular menu is impressive as well! Service is slow but not much more than typical European style dining. Check took quite a while to get on the second visit but the server had to make some adjustments to it so that may have been the culprit. Only caution would be to skip the flan, disappointing especially for true flan lovers and be proactive about la cuenta por favor (check please)! Enjoy!

I was SO pleasantly surprised with this place!! I went for my birthday dinner on a Sunday night with 5 other friends, and although I made a reservation I really didn't have to because there was enough space. This place is clearly underrated. I ordered from the "dinner menu" where they offer certain choices for appetizer, main course and dessert, bread and wine/water for 20 euros. I got the mango and goat cheese salad as my starter, the chicken tikki masala for the entree, and "dessert for chocolate lovers" which turned out to be a brownie with rich chocolate gelato on top drizzled with chocolate fudge. Best dessert. The menu was all over the place, in the sense that they offer very different and random things like indian food, pasta, burgers, etc. But everything that was ordered came out with beautiful presentation and tasting excellently. My friend ordered salmon squares that looked and tasted fantastically. The venue is rather fancy and elegant, with dark walls and dim lighting. The staff was very attentive and brought out the food quickly. They were all very nice as well. I highly recommend this place and I will be going back very soon.

First dinner in Barcelona - should have trusted the Yelp reviews. The squid ink paella was disappointing. The flavour was there but the actual squid was practically nonexistent. So we basically ate squid ink risotto. With all the other amazing restaurants around this neighbourhood, give this place a pass.

Tried it for the first time, the nachos and the dessert were my favorite dishes. Especially the vegetarian nachos! They were delicious!!!!!

I had a friend in town visiting and we wanted to find a nice place for her last night in town. We stumbled upon Balthazar and had a wonderful meal! For a bottle of cava, one appetizer, two entrees and one dessert, the bill was still less than 20 EUR a person. I would highly reccomend the Duck Confit!

This is the place to visit if you want to eat top quality food with a twist of gourmet at normal prices. Surely the best Chicken tikka massala I ever had. The place is fantastic as well as the service. Would definitely go there again for a second time! Do try the creme Catalunya, it is really really good.

A first class disaster... Where to begin? Our waiter didn't know what a gin and tonic was. Service was horrendous - like a factory assembly line, the waiter literally threw the silverware down on the table. Fried calamari was like bits of fried garbage - tasteless and gross. Tomato and mozzarella salad tasted like it had been sitting in the fridge for a week. Chicken entree was dry and rubbery, had to be sent back after attempting to chew first piece. Pork entree tasted fine until cutting into the raw piece, then felt sick for rest of the night. Thankfully they took it off the bill. Honestly, the check couldn't come soon enough. Avoid this place at all costs.

Trendy, delicious, great service, fun atmosphere. This place is hip and definitely a must when you're in Barcelona :)

The Caesar salad I had here with my tour group was fantastic, but everything went kind of down from here. When we asked for water and more wine, we were not told wine was extra or offered more wine, but other tables in our group were given their requested wine. We were oven one water for 14 girls to split. How ridiculous is that?! The entrees were okay, but wish the fish had more flavor and that the pork had some kind of side with it rather than just garnish. The creme brûlée wasn't all that great because it was soft and wound up being just like... Sugar (not so much crusted) on top of whipped cream (too soft for creme brûlée). Wasn't my favorite restaurant experience for my first one in Spain.

It's a good looking place for sure. Very chick and fancy looking. The service is great. We went to dinner but with not much hunger. I got the burger and it was decent. I have had better burgers for half the price. But I guess you pay for the environment. So 3 star is purely based on food quality to price ratio. We went with a big group who ordered the menu options. Food looked good, and they were happy.

They've got a Vertu tight and solid menu card. Both lunch and dinner. Price is right, not much expensive and the food quality is very high. I'd recommend to try it once at least.

We ordered soup, salad and chop suet. The soup was ok. The other items really were not very appetizing. Service was prompt and quite good, but we did not find the quality equaled the price. The Oreo and brownie deserts saved the review from being lower.

The service is horrible. Two dishes we wanted to order were not available and the first dish took 30 minutes for them to serve. There were few people in the place. Should've took it as a sign.

Waitress and manager saw that two customers (my party) were waiting at door, they looked a different way and left us about 5-7 minutes standing at a door before seating us despite the restaurant 80% empty. Poor show of custom there. Waiting staff had no English, no help with wifi (despite advertising it's free!!) drinks order taken the second we sat without even seeing a menu. Food order promptly afterwards. Again, a further party were left at a door whilst the manager/maître di fussed about the restaurant. Food: tepid, dry and basic food at a basic price. Mains inedible; food clearly was left on the chef's pass for too long and had dried rendering the food poor. Manager had little sympathy. Bill: forced upon us rapidly after engaging us to pick a dessert or coffee. We chose to delay but they wanted more orders. The bill had two major glaring errors... Overcharged us on drink and food (ALWAYS - check your bill at the end) 91cent automatic charge for bread we never asked or requested. Yet they felt it perfectly ok to add this to an already wrongly priced bill. Service, food, ambiance, atmosphere was all poor on levels. Highly recommend any other restaurants in area.

I ate here today with some friends for a menu del día (9.40€) and it was quite good. It's quite a large place and seems popular but I'd never tried it before. There were 3 options for each course, all mainly Catalan or Mediterranean dishes. For me, I had a spinach "cake" to start, which was ok (it did have some sort of sauce - carrot?! - that went well with the freshly baked bread). My main was turkey (with a few cubes of fried potato and a relish-type sauce) and it was really good. I was impressed, especially considering that I was wary of trying the place. The dessert - for me, a slice of toffee cake - was delicious. The glass of wine was nice (and generous). Service was fine. All in all a good experience, especially for less than 10€. I've no idea what they charge for dinner... Oh, for visitors, the menu was written in Castellano and Catalan. I don't know if they have a couple of copies in English (doubtful) or how good the waiter's English is (probably fine).

We had three of the worst courses we've ever had here. It was bland, undercooked and just awful. The service was equally bad as the food and the straff were unwilling to help at all. The evening was completely ruined after this visit.

The service is really bad and slow. You need to ask 5 times for your drinks and the food didn't come for 2h... A really unpleasant experience. The food is normal nothing special. We had a business dinner here and i will definitely not come again. El servicio es muy malo y lento. Usted necesita preguntar a 5 veces para las bebidas y la comida no vino durante 2 h ... Una experiencia muy desagradable. La comida no es nada normal, especial. Tuvimos una cena de negocios aquí y que sin duda no vamos a volver.
