Great local market with everything you need. Great products that you cannot find in the old town. Awesome meat and fish selection. Fruits and veggies are great quality. Tons of prepared foods and deli meats. Must visit to try local delicious foods.

A nice place for grocery shopping. It offers a variety of products, such as fresh fruits and vegetables, cold cuts, honey, and more. There are also a few options for a quick snack or drink. Prices are probably a bit higher than at a regular market, as the place seems quite touristy (which also means it can get crowded), but overall, it's a pretty pleasant spot.

I absolutely love the Balti Jaama Turg. Plenty of food options, grocery stores, fresh farm food vendors, quick bite restaurants, bars, flower shops, antique shops, clothing vendors, and more. It even offers covered parking. It's also extremely easy to get to either by bus or by tram. Old Town Tallinn is literally just across the street. A great place to spend an entire day! ☺️

A brilliant spot for lunch and to look around some authentic antique markets at the same time. There are a wide range of food options on offer and communal benches to enjoy some food here. I came here for lunch twice and enjoyed something traditional and something a little more known to me - both excellent. On the top floor is a fascinating market with memorabilia and authentic items from the soviet era. Well worth a visit for history buffs.

We were in Tallinn for just a day on a cruise stop, and I made a beeline for Balti Jaama Turg after seeing it featured in so many YouTube videos — and it absolutely lived up to the hype! This market is a vibrant mix of local culture, fresh food, and great atmosphere. The ground floor is packed with food stalls offering everything from fresh produce and baked goods to meats, fish, and specialty items — perfect for getting a taste of Estonia’s culinary staples. I loved browsing the local cheeses and cured meats, and the selection of wild berries and mushrooms was impressive! Upstairs, there were a handful of cozy cafés serving light meals, snacks, and great coffee. It had a relaxed, welcoming vibe — ideal for a quick bite or people-watching. There's also a full-size grocery store inside the complex, which makes it super convenient if you're staying longer in the city. What stood out most was how authentic and non-touristy it felt, despite being a popular spot. You can tell this is a place locals actually shop and hang out. Definitely worth the short walk from Old Town if you want a more local experience and a deeper feel for the city’s day-to-day life.

Balti Jaama Turg is one of the most vibrant and exciting places in Tallinn. This modern market near the train station offers a perfect mix of tradition and innovation. You’ll find everything from fresh local produce, meat, and fish to street food, handmade crafts, vintage clothing, and international delicacies. The atmosphere is lively, yet very clean and well-organized. It’s a great place to get a taste of Estonian culture and everyday life. Whether you're looking for a quick bite, unique souvenirs, or just want to stroll and explore—this market is absolutely worth a visit!

Beautiful city market by the train station. Great atmosphere, fresh groceries, many street foods around, and antique shops on the top floor of the market. There is also parking in the underground part of the market, free for 1 hour.

Balti Jaama is ideally located, offering a delightful mix of flavors — from delicious cheese and honey to fine wine. With shopping on the top floor, it stands out by offering something truly unique, unlike many other places. I highly recommend it as the perfect spot for a break.
