A place you really shouldn’t miss in Tallinn! This market absolutely belongs on every visitor’s to-do list. The ground floor is lined with many food stalls. The variety is big, the prices surprisingly affordable, and the aromas alone will make you want to try a bit of everything. Whether you’re in the mood for a quick snack or a little food adventure, there’s something for everyone here. But the real gem awaits upstairs: The second floor is a true paradise for anyone who loves second-hand treasures or flea market vibes. From colorful vintage clothes and old vinyl records to retro furniture and quirky curiosities m, you’ll find just about anything you can imagine. That’s what makes it so much fun to explore. If you’re searching for a special souvenir to bring home from Tallinn, you’ll definitely discover it here. Hidden among the stalls is always a little treasure waiting to be found. A lively, atmospheric market full of surprises, I can highly recommended!

Such a great place to try out lots of local food, bakery items & more. Plus a great choice of meats, deli items, fruit & veg. Upstairs are brewery bars with some great local beers to try.

Dear readers, I was blown away by this market. An absolutely stunning assortment! I highly recommend everyone visit this market. Words and descriptions simply don’t do it justice—amazing prices and an incredibly vast selection. I strongly urge everyone to check out this market! I only took a photo of the fish section.

Do visit if you want to have some local experience at Tallinn. There are a lot of fresh fruits available. There are separate markets for fish and meat. It’s near to old town as well. You can reach by walk too. There are a lot of options to eat as well.

Great market with 3 floors. Top floor is clothing, vintage and non-food stuff. 2nd floor is produce, deli, meats, cheese, fish and honeys and 1st floor is a grocery store, pharmacy, chocolate shop and a few other random shops. Each floor is great and contains a few shops that sell "this and that". Great experience. Highly recommend!

We were in Tallinn for just a day on a cruise stop, and I made a beeline for Balti Jaama Turg after seeing it featured in so many YouTube videos — and it absolutely lived up to the hype! This market is a vibrant mix of local culture, fresh food, and great atmosphere. The ground floor is packed with food stalls offering everything from fresh produce and baked goods to meats, fish, and specialty items — perfect for getting a taste of Estonia’s culinary staples. I loved browsing the local cheeses and cured meats, and the selection of wild berries and mushrooms was impressive! Upstairs, there were a handful of cozy cafés serving light meals, snacks, and great coffee. It had a relaxed, welcoming vibe — ideal for a quick bite or people-watching. There's also a full-size grocery store inside the complex, which makes it super convenient if you're staying longer in the city. What stood out most was how authentic and non-touristy it felt, despite being a popular spot. You can tell this is a place locals actually shop and hang out. Definitely worth the short walk from Old Town if you want a more local experience and a deeper feel for the city’s day-to-day life.

We spent one full morning in this place. It has everything: fish, meat, local and international products, antiques, second hand clothes, other types of clothes, I get why it's so visited by everyone. There's something to enjoy for everyone.
