The Baltic Hotel is a superb stay in Lübeck. I went here on a whim as you can book directly through the hotel through email. I stayed around Christmas time and the location is super close to the bus station, yet still walkable to downtown, and the rooms are beautiful! The best part is the friendly staff offering their help and even some tea and hot chocolate packets in the lobby! Also, in regards to other reviews about the stairs/elevator. They definitely have a nice elevator in the hotel for your use

Nice smaller hotel which is pet friendly. Location is easily accessible but parking space is limited next to hotel, so I used train station parking which is 200m away from the hotel.

The hotel has a good location close to the old town. We had a nice and large family room on the ground floor overlooking the garden. The double bed was good, but the sofa beds that the kids had were a bit uncomfortable. Everything was very clean and tidy. Breakfast was all we needed. The staff were friendly and we all together had a really nice stay.

Fantastic little hotel, with very kind and effective stuff!❤️ Hygiene is on the top! Very clean - and you can feel it and see it everywhere! The breakfast is fabulous 👌!!! Come in and enjoy!🙂

We stayed one night here. It was a nice, clean place. The manager was fantastic, he was very helpful. The room was spacious. The hotel is right next to the bus and train stations, so it was convenient for travel, but we didn’t hear it from the room at all. The breakfast was great of a traditional German breakfast, meats and cheese on a roll. Yogurt and cereal available as well. Only slight downside was there was no AC and we were there during a heat wave. This was not a problem during the day, but at night it was a little warm. There was a fan in the room that helped though. Overall fantastic experience.

Stayed for a single night with bicycle. The 1 Bed room was spacious, nice and didn't feel crammed which 1 Person rooms sometimes do. The room was facing away from the train station, so there was no traffic noise whatsoever. The bath was clean and overall nothing to complain. Breakfast was great, wide selection and good. Arriving late when the reception was closed was easy and without issues. If you need a place to stay that is close to the train station, I can absolutely recommend this one.

Everyone has complained about the stairs in this hotel and after lugging our luggage up/down two flights of stairs I can say it wasn't fun but not that hard. Plus the manager offered to carry them but we declined.||||However we had a pleasant stay. The beds are very comfortable (small but hey this is Europe), the room is super quiet (faced the back with a view and small balcony) and very clean. There is a TV but never had time. ||||The highlight was the bathroom. Small but very practical and efficient. Towel warmers and a super enjoyable shower just made it so much nicer than expected.||||Breakfast is included. A good size and covers most of the northern German breakfast items (yum) but it does get busy.||||There is parking but we arrived late and found a spot on the street. The manager asked where it was and willingly moved his car to let us have an even closer spot. Nice touch.||||Lastly you can't beat the location. Near the main railway station (Hauptbahnhof) you can easily arrive by train or near the main road (as we did). It is only a couple of blocks from the historic island and easy to walk to. ||||In short, despite the stairs, this is a great place to stay.

This is a really nice and friendly modern hotel, very close to the old town and the Holsentor gate. ||||There isn't much parking but the hotel does have two one-car garages either side of the front of the hotel down a slope, with another car getting on each slope. I managed to fit my car on the front of the hotel between the driveways for the two underground garages.||||I had room 33 which was tiny, a single bed as I was travelling alone, but extremely modern with a lovely bathroom. I was also lucky enough to have a small balcony and chair to enjoy a beer as the sunset||||Breakfast was simple but very nice. Certainly enough to set you up for the day !||||I would definitely recommend this hotel !!
