I spent a couple of nights at this hotell in September 2018. My first visit to Malmö. The hotel was quite ok. Close to everything in the center of town, the room not big but normally nice for Scandinavia, and the staff normally helpsome. The breakfast was a bit strange. I like to have a glass of cold, fresh milk with my eggs and cheese and stuff. Nowhere to be seen, but I could fine all sorts of "alternatives", like oats milk, soy milk etc. I asked. Cow milk, oh, yes we have some in the little can for the coffee, next to the coffee oat milk. Lukewarm. I also did not feel welcome as a smoker, since there were no fascilities than to go to the street. There were even a nearby café with purposely no ashtrays in their outdoor serving. Sweden and Malmö are welcoming all kinds of other people, and I wandered if that massive immigration had changed the city. Not the center of town. The new "swedes" prefere their own societies most of the time, so Malmö is calm, most of the time.

We stayed in Malmö for 1 night on the way to Copenhagen. The room was clean and the beds were super comfy. Breakfast next morning made me happy with big selection of healthy food. The only thing to complain about in this hotel was noise: audibility is too high and old hardwood floors are creaky.

I stayed at First Hotel Mortensen one night while traveling in the area. It is an older property and was probably pretty grand in its day. Not renovated, but clean and with a charm of its own. The breakfast buffet was fairly extensive; something for everyone. The location is primo. Friendly staff. One could pay multiples more for a modern hotel in the same vicinity, but why?

We got room 512 and it was dirty with toenail clippings on the rug. Two skylights with no blinds in midsummer meant it was really bright and we couldn't sleep. The receptionist tried to charge me twice for the room, completely ignoring my printed receipt of payment. She was really cranky and rude to us. The breakfast was great though which made me feel better.

A very clean hotel in the very centre of Malmo with good accomodations and friendly helping staff. The rooms are a little basic (one person room), but clean and envisioned of all necessary comfort. The breakfast is varied with spacious times.

Arrived late, tired from traveling. Got a room for almost 100 euros a night without proper window shutters or curtains. Now in bed in front of people looking into my bed. To late to change room, to rired, but please management, dont rent out rooms if basic standards are not in place....worried about early sun rise tomorrow...

Room was large, but cold In style. Bathroom felt like something from a hospital. But this is a 3 start hotel, you don't get that much. The receptionist was not so service minded, did not feel welcomed as I would feel in other hotels.
