⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Stopped in today and had a great experience! The young man and young lady working were super friendly and took the time to explain the menu. I love that they make their bread in-house and get their doughnuts from a local bakery — you can really taste the difference. Both of our bagel sandwiches were delicious, and the lattes were spot on. I always try to support local spots like this, and I really wanted to leave a tip, but unfortunately, I didn’t have any cash. It would be awesome if they could add the option to tip with a card to help support their baristas. Either way, this place is definitely worth a visit. 5 stars! 🌟

This place is incredible! My new go to even though it’s completely out of my way it is so worth it! The coffee is some of the best I’ve ever had and the bagel actually is the best I’ve ever had anywhere! The atmosphere is chill and perfect for a coffee and sandwich or donut. I didn’t try the donuts this time but they look amazing! The customer service is next level! Honestly I haven’t seen customer service this good in years. The 2 employees I met are just such a joy the girl at the registers energy is contagious. If the coffee doesn’t put you in a great mood the people will! I’ve been here for about 15 minutes and I am so impressed. As soon as they had a second Shay immediately started cleaning tables and even came to check on me as I’m writing this. And every time someone comes or goes they wish you a good day. I must say this place has a new loyal customer!

I had a wonderful 1st time experience here! The staff was kind and created positive vibes from the moment I walked in to the moment I left. The donuts are thick and fresh. The bagels are tasty and dense, and the varieties of cream cheese were a delightful surprise. I would go out of my way to come back again in a heartbeat. Delicious!

Very friendly staff and a great selection of foods. Stopped in to pick up a "too good to go" app order and was not disappointed. The donuts are delicious and so are the bagels. The rest of the menu looks enticing too. Inside has some seating and it is setup like a small coffee shop.

Great donuts and unique specialty coffees! The creme brulee donut was so good! 4 stars on atmosphere as the place could use a clean up, the donut glass window was a bit disgusting and filmed with a layer of goo. Bathroom was dirty too

Their coffee is really good! Great atmosphere very welcoming as soon as you walk in! They have great variety of donuts that are interesting flavors like nutella, peanut butter and jelly, and so much more. I ordered a large latte and a breakfast sandwich for $14 pretty good for the portions. Definitely coming back here again.

Y'all, this is the best lox sandwich of my life! If you like lox you have to try this! It’s got a good amount of cream cheese smear, red onions pickled and regular, and cucumbers. It’s so fresh and light for the morning. The coffee is great. I always get a creme brulee, the top is perfectly toasted sugar just like how you’d get the dessert. And the store is amazing. It’s so cozy and there’s swing seating! There’s usually two gentlemen in the morning and they are so welcoming and great with giving recommendations. This place is fantastic, you’ve got to give them a try!

Went to BAM Bar this morning to place an order for their Donut Birthday Cake for my daughter's birthday🤩 They had opened just 10 minutes prior after the hurricane but the service was wonderful! They kept making sure all of their customers were comfortable and was very personable! Would definitely visit again and recommend the BAM Bar to friends and family!

Fun little local coffee shop with really unique options. It's a little drive for me but so worth it. Their sandwiches are delicious but do take some time to prepare so prepare to wait. They're worth it though! They're always busy. Their donut selection is so fun. Their apple fritters are delicious and HUGE! I tried their seasonal pea flower latte this morning and it was delicious. No caffeine but very tasty.

Unfortunately, it seems quality has gone down. We visited on a Sunday--the last day of that week's specialty donuts. We were at the register placing an order for donuts and a customer already seated asked to "return" her donut because it was stale. I thought, "okay luckily that's not the flavor we wanted." Unluckily for us, all of the different flavors we ordered were also stale. So I'm not sure if they aren't making fresh donuts on Sundays since it's the last day of the week, and they change flavors on Monday? Instead of selling subpar food, maybe they should throw them away, or offer them free with any other purchase since they are at least a day old? We've been customers for years, but I don't want to waste money on donuts unless I see an influx of reviews saying the quality has increased.

I found this place on the Too Good To Go app, and it was so awesome with the donuts and bagels (yummy!). Mario & Shay made this trip The 5 stars, both super friendly and fun while being professional. Their salted caramel latte was every bit as delicious as they said it would be. I'll be back!

Matt was awesome! He was tremendously helpful even though we showed up two minutes before closing, we were those customers today. He took great care of us and the drinks that he made for us were fantastic.!

I will make this sort and sweet. (Get it?). If there is a better donut in the Tampa Bay Area it is not of this earth. I am partial to the filled raised donuts, which are pillows of delight obviously imported from heaven. With a full coffee bar, and talented baristas you will have a difficult time stumping them when you order your hot beverage of choice. This is a locally owned and run establishment. It is always a great idea to support them, even if it is a bit out of your way, or early for you. Try it!

Placed online order for pickup on December 6th. Paid and went to pickup to find nobody there. Figured employees didn't show up for work since it was a 7 am pickup. I went online to find my order had been canceled. I just found out today via a random Facebook post the business is closed. Great business guys. Not even a sign in the windows or on the website?

Sooooo good! Me and my coworker are addicted. We order from here all the time. One of our favorites is the coconut cream pie coffee. There donuts are all so good as well. They are huge!!!!

quality of bagels has gone downhill. won't go back. They were small, dry and way too expensive. Bagels are very inexpensive to make.

I placed an order for this café on too good to go. Pick up time was anywhere between 7 AM and 1 PM. I showed up at 12:45 on my lunch break to pick up my order and they had already shut down. Chairs were up on tables sign out front said "sorry we are closed". The hours listed outside state that they're not closed until 1 PM and yet they had already been closed for who knows how long by the time I showed up. They did not even update too good to go to let them know that they were closing. I had to get a refund through the app. Hopefully I'll try again one day because the items look good but this is unprofessional.

The best donuts in all of Port, Ritchie, Florida. I stopped here every time I come into town and make sure that I bring plenty extra for everybody else because everyone loves them.

I've been here a few times now after being recommended by a friend. It's a cute little coffee shop in a nondescript shopping plaza. The interior is inviting and warmly decorated. A great place to meet up with friends or spend some time studying. Personally I've only ever stopped by to pick up lunch but each time all the staff were a delight. My order also always came out in a timely manner. Their food and drinks are very very good. I'm partial to their lox sandwich and I won't soon forget the taste of their lavender latte. Definitely stop by if you get the chance!

Unfortunately this business is not the same anymore. While my family has been going to BAM since it opened, we are finally calling it quits after several recent experiences (both personal and business-related) that have resulted in the following concerns: 1. Inaccurate/missing orders - Several times we have been handed orders that are missing food. Once again today, I was handed only 1 of my order of two sandwiches and had to pull up my online order receipt to show that I had actually ordered two. 2. Long wait times - Take the above example, and this resulted in just short of a 40-minute wait for 2 sandwiches, and this was ordered ahead online in hopes of a shorter wait time. We have experienced this example multiple times, and it is no different with ordering in-person or online. Any upcoming plans or time constraints you have, just know you need to double or triple your time if you plan to visit BAM. 3. Cleanliness concerns - The bar area where food is served has open containers of food products, dirty food prep utensils, open bags of ingredients, foggy glassware, etc. The donut display case and coffee area plexiglass need a thorough wipe-down. The baseboards and walls need wiping and painting. The floors could use a thorough scrubbing as well. If this was a one-time fluke, I wouldn't be mentioning it. Over time this has contributed to the business appearing deteriorated and unkempt. We have loved BAM for years, and we realize they are a small business which is why we have supported them for so long. Unfortunately we will no longer be going back or using them for business purposes.

Super cute coffee shop! Large selection of drinks from coffee to teas to lemonades. Not sure what to order? The gentlemen behind the counter was very helpful, I told him what flavors I like and nothing too sweet and he had offered a few options to order, so I chose one he suggested as well as a breakfast sandwich called the heavenly hash and both were delicious!

I love supporting local businesses and this place makes it easy!!! From the moment I walked in the two gentlemen behind the counter were so friendly and helpful. I tried the "Black Beauty" and it tasted just as fabulous as it was sparkly! Who doesn't want more glitter in their life! The croissant muffins? Were so good and donut was super fresh and huge! Cute atmosphere if you're dining in. All around, loved this place!!

This place is a hidden gemI would come here every day if it was closer to me not even kidding. I went here twice in one week when I first tried it. The first visit we got the cinnamon toast crunch donut usually I'm not a donut person but this one was perfect and not too sweet. We also split a lox your socks off bagel and usually coffee shops don't have great food so I was super happy they had good options. We also shared a coffee flight (cinnamon roll latte, hazelnut latte, lavender latte and raspberry rose latte). The baristas were so nice and even made my flight with modifications. The star of the show is the Black Beauty latte with activated charcoal, glitter and vanilla. It tastes incredible I promise its not just a gimmick. Definitely worth the drive.

This place is so special and a hidden gem! Customer service is always on point. The lattes are always made to perfection with so many different flavors to choose from. I recommend the flight which includes 4 of their specialty lattes! Their breakfast sandwiches are made with love and are so unique with different ingredients coming together for a mind blowing taste. Make sure you pick up one of their famous donuts before they are all gone. Happy to stop by with family every time we are in town. Thank you for having us and your hospitality

I've been going here since they opened. The drinks are amazing and the food delicious. The donuts are amazing!

I have been to BAM bar multiple times and this same incident seems to be a reoccurring theme. We did a mobile order that states the order would be ready by 9:20am. We arrived at BAM bar at 9:30am and our food had not been prepared. A customer came in while we waited and the same thing happened to her. We finally received our meal an HOUR later. Of course, the breakfast sandwich we originally wanted was not what we ended up with as they were out of multiple food items. We love the staff. It just seems there needs to be a better system in place for online orders.

I found BAM Bar from a yelp suggestion for donuts in the area. This café looked really cute on their website, and the donuts looked incredible, so I gave them a try. I came in shortly after 8am on a Monday, but found the location to be quite different than what you would expect based on the website. The shop was dirty, and somewhat dingy. The glass cases were not clean, and there was food / crumbs all over the floor like it hadn't been swept in a long time. Most of the chairs were stained and had food spills on them as well. I think they are going for an Up cycled sort of theme, but it just looks rundown. The menu was pricey compared to franchises type places, but the donuts were huge and specialty, so I expected it (Paid just over $12 for a donut & small tea). I had a maple bacon yeast donut, which I thought looked the best. (I noticed that most of the names hadn't been updated on the case, so you had to pick the donut based on looks instead of the label.) Unfortunately, the donut tasted quite stale despite looking fresh. I didn't finish it. I also ordered the Pineapple Blueberry Bliss tea, which was quite good actually. I'm not much of a coffee drinker, and since I came specifically for the donuts, I probably wouldn't come back.

My Daughter found this place on Google. A quick stop revealed a strip mall tenant with some excellent pastries and a good coffee selection. Borrowing from Cold Stone ice cream, you order Like it or Love it sizes on the menu. I enjoyed my blueberry donut and Latte. The employees are friendly. My only quibble is the lack of ventilation. It seems stuffy inside, and any cooking fills the air with food fumes. Perhaps the landlord needs to install a vent fan.

Okay I get the hype now, their donuts alone are delicious! Huge, fluffy, and not too sweet. We loved the maple bacon and Boston cream. S'mores coffee was good too. Biggest downfall is the line on a Saturday morning, it doesn't go quick either. Cute shop with house plants and flowers you can also buy but they're a little pricey. The sandwich combinations sound amazing, I need to go back and try some.

We originally went to the location on Little Rd which is apparently closed. There weren't any signs in the window stating that so we had to call this location a few times to confirm. Google (where we found BAM bar) still states that both locations are open and the building signage is still up so it was slightly confusing. Anyway, we opted to drive over to this location and by the time we got there (11:45ish) pretty much everything was sold out. They are supposed to be open until 3 pm but only had three or four bagels total for us to choose from. We wanted to have lunch but opted for toasted bagels instead because again, options were limited. The bagels we got were slightly toasted on the outside but still completely soft on the inside and were honestly only okay at best. We weren't moved by the custom service we received either. The one bright spot for us was the young man making sandwiches. I didn't catch his name but he was very sweet and seemed like a genuinely happy person. Overall, we likely won't be back unless we happen to be in the area early in the morning when they have a larger selection. Maybe the donuts are better?

I stopped here for coffee with my kids for the first time the other day. My iced latte was good. The donuts looked fresh and were selling fast. I got a glazed donut for my son - he loved it and ate it all. The decor/vibe was cute. They had little plants for sale in the front. The indoor swing set is definitely a plus, if you have little kids. Warning: they may not want to leave lol.

This place is on point. Their bagels are obviously homemade and awesome. Then to make them into sandwiches makes it even better. Their text toasty chicken tender bagel sandwich is incredible, sweet salty and savory all together. We got a few other bagel sandwiches to share at home and they are all great in their own way. The peach patio Palmer is a great twist on an old favorite. My son got the shimmer and shine. He loves the glitter in the drink. Wife got the black beauty with oat milk and is her new favorite. We will definitely be going back. Nice secret local spot. Keep up the great work.

very dirty . floors the walls were covered in dirt . It's sad because the coffee and sandwiches were pretty good but unfortunately it's very nasty .

If you've read any of my reviews, you know that they are typically all positive - praising joints for their vegan options. That being said, I'll start off by saying it's really great that a new local coffee shop has vegan options (cream cheese, butter, bagels, Just Egg, dairy free milk, etc.) If you've read any of my reviews, you also know that I love shouting out great customer service. Unfortunately, I have to shout out the opposite for BAM Bar. I've visited this place a few times now, mostly when I'm visiting my family on the weekends. The weekends are insanely busy, which is great to see - but that also means that customer service has been lacking. I don't think it necessarily should be that way, but I gave them a pass. I haven't written a review so far as I've wanted to see what the customer service was like on a week say. Fast forward to a Tuesday morning (4/5) around 9am and I arrived to a fairly empty establishment. Placed an order for two bagels (one with vegan butter, one with regular butter) and two oat milk lattes with peanut butter. I received my order quickly, and went to the parking lot. I took a sip of my drink and was a little shocked that it tasted nothing like the other PB lattes I've ordered here lately. So what do you do? You go back in and ask them to please fix or remake the drink. The woman at the counter was not happy about this, proclaiming she put "big scoops" of peanut butter in each and stirred them. Also stating she "didn't know what to do." This was shocking as even Starbucks will propel your incorrect drink out the window, make you a new one and also give you a hug. Not wanting to be a recipient of this behavior any longer, I just left. Took the coffee as is. Another thing to note - the bag with the bagels had two containers in them. One with (I assume) vegan butter, and one with non-vegan butter. Neither of these were labeled. If you sell a vegan version of something, it would make sense to label it. That could be really scary for someone with a dairy allergy had they took a guess and used the wrong one. To BAM Bar: I would highly recommend fixing this. I've probably spent over $100 here already, but I don't think I'll be back. I really liked the concept of the place and it's vegan offerings, but the customer service (lack of) is just not it. I'd much rather give my money to a reliable company like Starbucks, or even another local coffee joint in the area.

I do not love giving out poor reviews but this place has been nothing but an expensive disappointment every time I have visited. The original location has poor ventilation and you can't walk in without being smothered in food smell. It is over the top. Signature drinks are cute, but way too sweet for me. I ordered a short latte and quickly understood why they have so many flavored drinks on the menu. The breakfast sandwich was very good. I will give them that. Second visit I ordered a bagel with cream cheese which was grilled with runny cream cheese. I have never had a bagel grilled for cream cheese. Both visits to the Little Road location they were out of menu items, first visit there were no donuts at 9 am, and second visit there was no cold brew. Staff at the Little Rd. location are friendly. I felt badly for them that they were out of things. Definitely earn their namesake.

First time here and it was a pleasant experience. The staff was friendly and the shop was clean . They had a beautifully arranged case of baked good as well as a mean menu of food items. I was set on coffee so I had a vanilla latte with oat-milk and it was divine . My friend had the banana foster and she was in heaven. This is a wonderful spot to chill and enjoy the Moment . I'm looking forward to my next visit. It will be coffee and at least 20 doughnuts.

I don't have enough amazing things to say about this place. Not only were the donuts fantastic but the staff was SO friendly. We got the glazed apple donut and the buttercream plus an old fashion donut and apple fritter to-go. The glazed apple was one of the best donuts I've ever had. It was fluffy and soft with the perfect amount of filling. The to-go donuts we saved for the next day and they were still JUST AS DELICIOUS. I will 10/10 be back to eat more of these donuts.

While I absolutely love the food and coffee offerings at BAM, I can't say the same for the cleanliness. In a recent visit with my mom and kids we noticed dead roaches on the floor, the dust looked as if it had t been cleaned in weeks and the bathroom was horrible. It makes me so sad because this place used to be our go to for fresh delicious donuts. Unfortunately now I will it be back because I cannot stomach eating there knowing its cleanliness is WAY less than standard.

This place is great and almost a hidden gem. They feature cool drinks and bites to eat. They are doing a great job with their young/progressive presence in such an old fashioned/conservative area in Florida. There is only one thing that needs to be worked in at both locations: ventilation. Because the sandwiches they make require a panini press--which creates quite a bit of intense smelling smoke-- they need to get a commercial oven hood to filter out the smoke. You can see the fog of panini press smoke when you walk in, and it also absorbs into clothing instantly and stays. After that gets fixed? It'll be a 5 star local coffee shop.

This is my families favorite spot to grab coffee and breakfast sandwiches. We love stopping by! The staff is always so kind and helpful. They always make sure you are enjoying the food. The place is small but decorated nicely and is the cutest coffee spot!

I stopped by on opening day and tried a few a cake based donuts. The chocolate coconut, sour cream and glaze are my favorite. The donuts are huge and underpriced for only a $1.50 each. BAM Bar offers a large selection of bagels, butters and cream cheeses. Today, I purchased a hashbrown bagel with maple bacon cream cheese. I also sampled one of their expresso's that featured MCT oil and reishi mushrooms. Some of you are probably thinking ew mushroom coffee but I couldn't taste it and there was no weird after taste. Some of the items on BAM's menu are very health conscious and their ingredients are carefully paired to make their product offerings stand out. BAM's decor is really inviting with plants, a bar, several tables and motivational signs hung neatly on the wall. The eatery is a very nice addition to the area and is honestly a little too nice for the plaza it's in. Each time I stop by, the owners spend a few minutes talking with me and are willing to go the extra mile for their customers. Soon to come are wine and beer options. Open daily 7-3 next to Carmelitas.

Food is delicious as well as the drinks, the apple fritters are insanely huge. My only complaint is that it gets super smoky in the place when they're making the sandwiches and it makes my eyes water a ton- unless they've added a vent hood since the last time I was here. The prices are a bit steep but the food + drinks are definitely high quality.

Just tried this place for the first time a couple days ago. We ordered and shared the Texas Toastie; super yummy. I also recommend the iced peanut butter latte. The staff was super friendly. Next time I wanna try a donut- although they look too pretty to eat!

This is the best coffee I've had in Florida! I got the cold brew with a splash of oat milk and the peanut butter add-in. I'm absolutely blown away by the fact that it is actual peanut butter mixed in, not just a flavored syrup and it makes all the difference in the world. It is just SO good and compliments the coffee perfectly. The oat milk was a little heavier than a "splash", so I wish it had a bit more of a coffee taste, but honestly it is so delicious that it doesn't really matter. My girlfriend had Campfire Tea Latte and it was delicious as well, very sweet, almost like a dessert. Our friends made fun of us for splitting a blueberry cake donut with so many other options but it was the perfect classic cake donut. With the sweetness of both the coffee and tea, we didn't want to overdo it. Will definitely be back next time we are in town visiting family!

Great food, great service, very clean Ann best bagels around. Just wish it would open at six am for us who are on our way to work a bit earlier.

Today was our first time at BAM Bar. The plaza in which it resides is somewhat of a hole in the wall type place. But as soon as we pulled up at 9:30 am, there was a small line out the door, but it moved very fast. The environment was warm, and cozy. The menu is large with a lot of diversity and awesome options for everyone. I had the BAMLT on a bagel cheesy hash bagel, my son had the BAMLT on a blueberry bagel, and the wife had Goat Getter on a sesame bagel. Needless to say, we devoured it all. Additionally I had the Oh My Shake which was so good. You can't come here and not get donuts, so we also got a half dozen to go. Definitely a hidden gem, and now our new favorite breakfast spot. Excellent service by the way. Thank you BAM Bar!!!!

Tried to order coffee no menu was so loud you couldn't hear the girl working tell you I could look up their menu online. But I had to step outside because my phone won't work inside. Decided I didn't need coffee that bad.

I can't express how amazing the hot honey sandwich was. I went in for some protein and from the minute I walked in I was treated like a 5 star vip customer. walked through every menu item and even got some off the menu items. If I was you and enjoyed hot sandwiches I'd recommend the hot honey chicken sandwich. Thank you to the team that keeps this place open

What a fantastic addition to the area! Just what NPR was missing. I was back in my hometown visiting family last week and my sister recommended that I try this new spot. Wow it did not disappoint. I don't drink coffee so I love when places have fun tea lattes in addition to their fun coffee drinks. I have the s'mores tea latte which was amazing and just the right about of sweet. I also split a blueberry donut with my boyfriend which we loved. It was probably one of the more tame donuts they offer but the quality was spot on. BUT the real star of the show was my boyfriends cold brew. He added peanut butter to it thinking it would be like most other coffee shops using a peanut butter flavored syrup... but it was legit peanut butter blended into the already tasty coffee. Amazing. Will definitely be returning. Great for adults and kids alike :)

Every time I go I try their coffee flights and they never disappoint, even though their coffees and teas all look delicious full size. You cannot go wrong with their sandwiches either, we got the heavenly hash the last two times and usually get the monte Cristo, both which are delicious. My son could swing in their swings all day.

Loved my simoa latte with coconut milk! The espresso was smooth and did not taste burnt! As a barista in the past I am super picky with espresso. So I normally hesitate with espresso drinks. However, this was amazing. I even took it to the beach and finished it up! I also got two donuts and Goat Getter sandwich. The donut was the kind I like where it is not breaded rather a true donut that is flakey (not sure what the proper terms are :p)!!! The Goat Getter I could eat everyday. The flavor was incredible and the bagel it came on was a treat. I definitely will continue to visit this spot on my trip and in the future!

It was super cute, but a little pricy for the quality. The mixtures were unique and pretty cool, but my bagel was a little rubbery. The coffee was also kind of watery. But I think the whole establishment is new so with time I think they'll learn more. Would probably go again.

The people that worked there were incredibly accommodating and very nice. They genuinely cared about my experience. I ordered a Butterfly Pea Latte. I don't like sweet drinks and this was extremely sweet - almost too sweet in fact. The color wad beautiful and is totally picture worthy. Next time I'll go with my gut instinct and get a regular Latte! Pro: the people offered to remake my drink and reheat it when it was cold instead of hot. Con: Too loud and echo- y to read

What an awesome little place. Just a really a cool vibe with specialty coffees, teas, and donuts. The Bam which that we got was delicious! I personally could use extra egg but the flavor was excellent! They have an offsite kitchen where they make all the basics, bagels the base of the donuts etc., then they bring everything in early and do all the decorating/filling at the actual shop. It was definitely a very cool experience, so much so I went back the next day just to get a few different donuts to go. The owner's Are right there and all of the staff are very attentive! The two times I have been in, it was full but was able to find one seat. If you want a full variety of donuts you better go early. Although I was very pleased to find there were still a small variety of donuts between 11 and 12. The blueberry lemon lavender donut is what dreams are made of !! We also really enjoyed the goat getter (bagel of your choice pressed with egg, goat cheese, spinach, & sun-dried tomato).... I just love the fact that they're doing some not so common combinations as well as the traditional's; both in the sandwiches and the donuts. That will definitely keep me coming back!
