BAM Tree Library Milan

A wonderful park giving Milanese open contoured space divided into differing landscaped sections. Aerial photos do not do the space justice (I sorry I did not take any good photos while in the park) and many of the Google Street View images were taken prior to the landscaping. The geometrically divided sections of the park are each have a character of their own while keeping an overall aesthetic - this is done quite well. The locals enjoying the park the day we visited all seemed to enjoy it, many with thier dogs. The park has the added features of the Piazze Gae Aulenti, Alvar Aalto and Luigi Einaudi boarding on one end and the amazing Bosco Verticale on the other.

✨ Escape the Milan hustle at BAM! ✨ The Biblioteca degli Alberi isn't just a park; it's a living, breathing botanical library nestled between Milan's towering modernity. Wander through circular forests, discover poetic phrases along the paths, and marvel at the stunning views of the Bosco Verticale. It’s a beautifully designed, serene urban oasis perfect for a lunchtime escape, a cultural event, or simply soaking up nature. From yoga sessions to literary meet-ups, BAM offers an enriching green experience for everyone. A must-visit for design lovers and nature seekers alike!

Large open area with plenty of walking paths lined with trees and plantings that are a joy to walk through. I needed a break from the crowds so I ventured over to BAM Bibliotheca degli Alberi Milano for a long walk through the park. Nestled between a few very tall buildings the park is an amazing contrast to the color of the sky and structures. Many of the plantings are labeled so you can identify most of them. There are some flowers in bloom but with the intense sun and heat, the color is starting to drain from the plants. There is a rose garden at the park which is in full bloom with some beautiful pink roses. People use the park as a gathering place with friends, one group was training with a fitness coach and plenty just walking about. Highly recommend a visit to experience this beautiful space.

BAM is more than just a park; it's a cultural hub and a testament to Milan's commitment to modern, sustainable urban spaces. It's highly recommended for anyone looking to relax, enjoy nature, or experience a unique cultural event in the heart of the city. For the best experience, consider visiting on a weekday morning to avoid the crowds. From here you will get a great view of the vertical garden. I invite you to my instagram: enfokados

such a beautiful spot in the middle of Milan. There are plenty of walking paths, well kept playgrounds for kids, and lots of shady spots that are perfect for a picnic. The grounds are clean and lush with greenery, and it’s all just steps away from great shopping, coffee spots, and a vibrant central area. Our favorite moment was when we accidentally wandered into a stunning building, thinking it was part of the library, only to find out it was actually a private residence. Definitely a lovely place to spend a relaxing afternoon.

This park is beautiful! It is a nice little spot in between a couple large buildings which gives great views. There places to sit, parks to play, and flower fields to admire. We walked through here early in the day and decided to come back to have a picnic in the park.

A very modern and tidy park. It feels like a separate part of the city, calm and well designed. Definitely worth visiting.

The park is beautiful, and you can see the main building from afar (as presented in the picture). Biggest issue for such a public place was the lack of public bathrooms, or of there are any the fact that there are public bathrooms (there were none open at noon on a work day within a 30 min radius, if you don't count stores, cafés, etc.)
