Bambarakanda Holiday Resort

Place looks amazing and you get a feeling that you are living in a house you have seen in a fairytale. Check the video I have uploaded with this comment for further verification. You can reach this place from even a low ground clearance vehicle and the road is damaged in several places but can manage. Room is fully equipped with TV, Mini Refrigerator, bathroom with hot water facility, tables, sofa etc.. so this is really worth the money you are spending. Food is super tasty and fresh. Owners of this property are a mother and daughter and both were very helpful with us. I think this is a must visit place and the cost per night was around 20,000 rupees which is really good considering that this is for a full board for a couple and a child. I believe they it is better to provide a WiFi connection to rooms since the internet signal for Dialog GSM is virtually zero. Other than that, this is a place I highly recommend for all of you to visit and stay. We will come back here again.

We had a lovely stay at Babarakanda Holiday Resort as a couple. The food was amazing and freshly prepared, and the hospitality was outstanding. The staff were very friendly and made us feel comfortable and well taken care of. A peaceful and relaxing place—highly recommended!

I recently visited the resort for the second time, and I must say there’s been a huge improvement compared to my first visit 11 years ago. This time we only stopped by for lunch on short notice, but the food was very tasty. The hospitality was excellent on both occasions, with staff kindly recommending places for us to visit. The resort has a very homely and welcoming environment with a great view.

It was a wonderful experience to wake up to the beautiful views of Bambarakanda falls & misty mountain hills. This place has so much to offer special for the ones who enjoy calmness of the nature. All you can hear was the sound of waterfall & the chirping of birds. There are few places you can reach whilst your stay, the nearest was of course the waterfall which is located within 15mins walk. If you continue to travel uphill there was a small water stream with a bathing area right aside the road. It is worth mentioning the hospitality & kindness of the staff & the owner herself. lastly we enjoyed their every meal & no complains in terms of taste

We had an unexpected car accident on our way to the hotel, and the kindness and support we received here made all the difference. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we felt safe, comfortable, and well taken care of during such a stressful time. From the place we had the accident to the attentive service throughout our stay, everything was handled with genuine care and professionalism. The rooms were clean, and provided the perfect space to rest and recover. we will always be thankful for their help and highly recommended this place to anyone looking for more than just a stay. we had a wonderful stay here! The owner’s hospitality was truly exceptional — she made us feel very welcome and cared for throughout our visit. The hotel itself is comfortable and charming, and the view is absolutely breathtaking. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for both warmth and beauty during their stay.

Room is clean and cozy with a nice view. However, bathroom should be improved. Unfortunately our bathroom window was opened throughout the night due to a electric wire and it attracts wild life. Food was great, nice family and they are very friendly. Our timming was not so great, the road was closed due to construction and we had to use a rough and dangerous bypass road twice the distance Road was not good in last 300m and after the resort as well.
