We wanted to give our 4.5 year old kid a forest experience and there couldn't have been any better choice than this mesmerizing place located in a massive 40+ acre farm in Masinagudi. We did multiple safaris to Mudumalai and Bandipur from here, as both are close by. ||||Our stay was unique, fascinating and memorable. Firstly, the owner (Mr. Zerasp Kothavala) personally paid attention to our requirements and patiently answered all our queries even before we reached there.||||We stayed in The Cottage, and loved it for its four side view - it was so nice to see deer, monkeys, peacocks, peahens, malabar giant squirrels, geese, horses etc roaming around freely, right from our cottage windows! The room was very clean and all the basic facilities were in place. ||||Mr. Zerasp also personally took us for a jeep ride across the property. We loved it as we saw so many of these animals and birds from a close range!||||We could experience horse rides as well. There is a tree platform too which gives a amazing bird's eye view of the entire property. ||||One special thing here is the telescope! It was so nice to see the moon, planets and the stars through the giant lens!||||They have a lovely swimming pool which is fun as it has deer and horses passing by while you enjoy a refreshing dip!||||There is an indoor library and games section too next to the dining area which has some engaging activities for kids and adults as well. ||||The food is absolutely delicious - just like home cooked food! The staff very lovingly cooked and served it to us.||||Special thanks to the super helpful staff (John and all others) who always had a smile on their face and made our stay so enjoyable. ||||The property sees lot of repeat customers (we met a few who have been visiting for decades), and we now know the reasons! Please keep up the great work, and thanks once again for hosting us! Will surely visit again!

We visited this place for 2 night and it was really amazing. This is a very very big property with very less number of cottages, so you get a feeling of personal space. If you are a fan of Jungle lodge resorts than you will definitely love this place. It feels like living in forest as you see wild as well as domestic animals surrounding you throughout the day. Rooms were very spacious and clean. Hospitality wise as well staff is very friendly. I rarely visit any place second time. But this is the place I visited second time and it was a very pleasant experience.

If you're looking for a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature and wildlife, Bamboo Banks Resort in Masinagudi is the perfect getaway. Spread across a sprawling property, the resort offers plenty of open space, making it ideal for a relaxing vacation away from the city rush. What stands out the most is the natural beauty and serenity of the place. You're right at the edge of the forest, and it's common to spot deer, peacocks etc.. from the safety of the resort. The atmosphere is calm and rejuvenating, perfect for nature lovers. The cottages are well-maintained and blend nicely into the landscape, offering comfort without disturbing the environment. The staff is warm and welcoming, always ready to help but never intrusive. Food was outstanding. Overall, Bamboo Banks offers the right mix of comfort, nature, and hospitality. Highly recommended for those looking to unwind, reconnect with nature, and enjoy a bit of wildlife without sacrificing modern comforts.

This was our second visit( during X-mas Holidays 2024) to this Bamboo Banks Farm & Guest House. Nestled right in the middle of the forest, it’s like stepping into a different world – calm, cool, and absolutely beautiful. We stayed in one of their spacious, olden-style individual cottages – full of charm, equipped with all modern amenities, and surrounded by nature in its purest form. The cool, chilly weather (thanks to the thick green cover all around) made everything even more perfect. The real stars of the place, though, were our unexpected neighbors – a horde of deer who roamed freely around the property, so friendly and close you could almost play tag with them! Our kid had an absolute gala time – chasing deer, watching a bunch of naughty langoors swing around, petting horses, ducks, even the dogs and the occasional monkey. Daily horse rides were a big hit, as was the cute little pool and play area. We did little more than eat, roam around the massive property, and soak in the peace. The food deserves a special mention – the variety was incredible, and every meal felt like a celebration. One of my personal highlights was the gorgeous little library tucked away in a cozy corner, stocked with books from the 70s – it truly felt like walking into a Ruskin Bond story. To top it all off, we had the most unforgettable stargazing experience, right from the middle of the forest. Thanks to Mr. ZERASP, we got to look through a telescope and see Jupiter, Saturn, constellations, and even distant galaxies. The spot is perfect for any stargazer. If you’re looking to escape the noisy, polluted air of the cities and want to experience nature at its best – this is the place. Peaceful, refreshing, full of life – it’s a little slice of heaven. We’ll definitely be back again... and again!

Where do I even begin? I’ve been lucky enough to spot tigers during safaris in Bandipur, Kabini, and K.Gudi—but nothing compares to this moment. It was completely unplanned and absolutely unforgettable. While crossing the Karnataka-Tamil Nadu border on our way to Bamboo Banks, my family and I witnessed a tiger crossing the road. That’s how our adventure began. Bamboo Banks is a unique, family-owned property, run by deeply passionate people. Zerasp, the landowner, is a walking encyclopedia when it comes to wildlife—his knowledge of animals is just incredible. Then there’s Rafique, who manages the property and guest experience. He’s hands-on, humble, and has an unmatched understanding of the flora and fauna of Mudumalai. The property itself feels like a mini jungle within the jungle. Wildlife sightings are a daily affair—civets, bears, elephants, and more. They have trap cameras set up, so you can review the previous night’s visitors the next morning. This place is for true adventure seekers and nature lovers—not for those looking to lounge indoors with a cocktail. It’s raw, real, and absolutely worth experiencing at least once in your life. Thank you so much, team for all the wonderful experiences.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Bamboo Banks Farm and Guest House, and it was a truly memorable experience. Nestled in the lush greenery of Masinagudi, the property offers a perfect blend of comfort, nature, and warm hospitality. The cottages were clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed to blend with the natural surroundings. Waking up to the sounds of birds and spotting wildlife right from the veranda added a magical touch to the stay. The farm setting with horses, goose and open spaces gave it a peaceful, rustic charm that’s hard to find elsewhere. What really stood out was the hospitality. The staff were incredibly courteous, attentive, and made us feel right at home. Meals were delicious, with home-cooked South Indian dishes that tasted fresh and authentic. There were plenty of activities for both adults and children, from horse riding to nature walks and even a refreshing dip in the pool. Whether you're looking to unwind, reconnect with nature, or enjoy some quiet family time, Bamboo Banks is a perfect getaway. I would highly recommend it to anyone planning a trip to the Nilgiris region.

One of the best places to stay at Masinagudi amidst nature and wildlife. You witness Deers moving all around the resort and in close proximity. The resort is also built with amenities that are spread apart and binding with nature. It was such a relaxed and refreshing tour!!
