This was our second visit( during X-mas Holidays 2024) to this Bamboo Banks Farm & Guest House. Nestled right in the middle of the forest, it’s like stepping into a different world – calm, cool, and absolutely beautiful.
We stayed in one of their spacious, olden-style individual cottages – full of charm, equipped with all modern amenities, and surrounded by nature in its purest form. The cool, chilly weather (thanks to the thick green cover all around) made everything even more perfect.
The real stars of the place, though, were our unexpected neighbors – a horde of deer who roamed freely around the property, so friendly and close you could almost play tag with them! Our kid had an absolute gala time – chasing deer, watching a bunch of naughty langoors swing around, petting horses, ducks, even the dogs and the occasional monkey. Daily horse rides were a big hit, as was the cute little pool and play area.
We did little more than eat, roam around the massive property, and soak in the peace. The food deserves a special mention – the variety was incredible, and every meal felt like a celebration. One of my personal highlights was the gorgeous little library tucked away in a cozy corner, stocked with books from the 70s – it truly felt like walking into a Ruskin Bond story.
To top it all off, we had the most unforgettable stargazing experience, right from the middle of the forest. Thanks to Mr. ZERASP, we got to look through a telescope and see Jupiter, Saturn, constellations, and even distant galaxies. The spot is perfect for any stargazer.
If you’re looking to escape the noisy, polluted air of the cities and want to experience nature at its best – this is the place. Peaceful, refreshing, full of life – it’s a little slice of heaven. We’ll definitely be back again... and again!
