Bamboo Hill Tioman

This hotel is paradise. The rooms are so beautiful, the beach is right in front of you, everything is perfectly clean and harmonious. And then there is the staff : Juliana & Sorri are just so welcoming and so nice ! They lend you masks & fins & bikes & games & basically anything you want ! You truly feel welcomed and well taken care of. The ABC location is super cool & easy with a great atmosphere, nice restaurants, and many things to do like snorkeling trip, Jungle trecking, our volley ball each day at sunset. I recommand +++ ! Now what to say, how to describe best Bamboo Hill??!! Words are not enough for this heavenly place. Peace, tranquillity, an athmosphere where you can forget all your every day worries and troubles. You can free your mind sitting at the balcony and look at the waves. Butterflues and birds around you. Crossing the bridge over the small stream brings you in another dimension . Outside this heavenly ground you can snorkel, take a jungle walk which starts just a few footsteps away. If you are an active person, there are lot of other activities offered near by. Juliana, Sue and Worry are doing a great service. From filling up the waterbottles, give coffee or tea for making it in your room, the list of their service and help is too long as to be all mentioned here in the review. They also give good advice on every topic comming up. THANK YOU ALL at Bamboo Hill for the wonderful time I spent here!!!

With family of five. Tioman is really great to get the island feeling and relax. Bamboo Hill has the best spot to scuba dive swim and just relax. You get what they say you, and the owners are really the best. You have everything you need. Snorkling is great, diving is better. Foor foot go to Opa's and breakfast at abc

Had a 4 night stay. Just to echo others comments. Great location. Sue is super kind and engaging and her thoughtfulness is reflected throughout the property. Lots of small touches to elevate the guest experience. A shout out also to all the staff team who were similarly a pleasure to be around. Most of the guests are repeat customers and I can certainly understand why. Very happy to recommend without reservation:)

This is our second visit to Bamboo Hill Tioman and we definitely plan to return. It was the best place we stayed in our whole 4 week trip to Malaysia. Sue, the owner, strikes the perfect balance between providing helpful advice and looking after the guests really well, while leaving you ample space to relax in your own way. The chalets are absolutely beautiful - we chose to stay in Chalet 1 both times. We were a couple and a teenager and it worked really well because we had separate spaces. The accommodation is beautiful, and is comfortable and stylish in a simple way. Tioman Island is stunning and the most relaxing place we’ve ever been. We really miss it and can’t wait to stay again!

We had a wonderful time at Bamboo Hill! Sue is a great host and the place is simply enchanting. We were very lucky that there was still a room available. The accommodation is beautifully surrounded by tropical plants and right on the beach. The rooms are very nice and everything is taken care of. The hosts help with recommendations, the lift from the jetty, and also offer coffee and fresh water. Bamboo Hill is the perfect place for a peaceful vacation on a paradisiacal island where time seems to stand still.

I loved everything about this place! It’s heaven on earth! You can see the ocean from your bed, have an idyllic balcony and if you go snorkeling right outside your door there is beautiful corals and amazing wildlife. Several restaurants are in walkable distance and the place is very quiet. The whole team is so lovely and caring. There seams to be nothing Sue and her team aren’t prepared for. They collect you and your luggage from the ferry port and drop you there the day you leave (which not only safes you from heavy lifting but also instantly gives you a feeling of security). I felt completely safe and looked-after. Thank you so much everyone!

Perfect getaway spot! Each of the chalets sit on a jungly hill overlooking the sea. The rooms are cozy and clean, with nice touches like mosquito coil and a comfy hammock. We were worried it would get hot without AC, but the ceiling fan and ocean breeze kept us cool throughout the day. Bamboo Hill is also on the nicer part of ABC beach where you can snorkel and explore the sealife. If you're feeling daring, you can try snorkeling around the corner to Panuba resorts. Sue, Wari, and Julianna are so accommodating and warm - helping us with food recommendations (try Nasri's Place 2), passing over headlights for our night bike rides, and advising us on the ferry. If you want a place for utter relaxation, this is the place to be! Don't except a party island, even if there's duty free. But you can always enjoy a few beers on your balcony :-) Four nights were not enough!! Thank you again Bamboo Hill for the stay! X
