Rare I write a review on accommodation but. DON’T STAY AT THIS HOSTEL! They have a luggage room which is only accessible by the staff (is what they say) My bag was raided! I lost all of my barber equipment. £700 worth of stuff my aftershave was stolen and also my shoes and even some clothes, How low can they get! The receptionist and staff had no intent to help me with the situation and there are also no cameras at this hostel so nothing is safe about this place. They recommended me to phone the police and that’s all they said they could offer. And an apology, from their own staff who have stolen my items! ALSO, Blue water lodge hostel is linked with Bamboo so I would avoid both for your own safety as this can’t happen to anyone else! STAY AWAY IF YOU WANT A SAFE TRIP TO FIJI AND BOOK A DIFFERENT HOSTEL/HOTEL.

I am so thankful to this hostel. I was stranded in Fiji separated from my family awaiting a visa approval. I felt safe, cared for and it was the perfect place to be. Kava tanoa at night with guitar and sharing my time with fellow travelers from around the world was the highlight. I luckily got my visa approved after the first night so had to leave but I will absolutely be back next time I'm in Fiji! I stayed in the pod room and it was comfortable to have my own little space that was actually affordable.

The rooms upstairs were so hot and airless it was actually hard to breathe. The fan was dirty and dusty so made us feel ill. Didn’t really cool the room just blew the stale air around - felt really claustrophobic and we weren’t able to sleep. Mosquito netting in the window was torn so not effective. There’s places on the same road that are a similar price and nicer - but really I’d get to the islands asap as the accommodation is much nicer and sometimes cheaper. Check in and check out was really easy and seen loads of complaints about bed bugs but we checked really carefully and didn’t see any bed bugs. Maybe depends on which room you’re in? Our bedding looked clean.

The rooms are clean, location is great, not too busy and directly next to the beach with restaurants and bars nearby. The staff is extraordinarily nice. They help you with everything you need and they welcome you with a warm heart, kava sessions and guitar playing. One of my best stays I have been to. Will definitely come back. Thanks Bill and Tax for the nice evenings!

We stayed one night and it was totally worth it! We were welcomed by extremely friendly and helpful staff, the room was clean and comfortable, the location is perfect to take a stroll at the beach. Check out the Bars and restaurants near by. The Hostel offers Kava sessions everyday which we attended! Luc was super nice, explained the ceremony, later on more locals joined and we had a fun evening! If you want to connect, this is the plane to be! The streets dogs running around are also super cute!

We stayed in the budget fan room in Oct 2024. The room is spacious, but barebone. It has 2 beds and a table (no chairs) with a small wadrobe. Towels provided but nothing else, no water, no cups, no kettle. The ceiling fan is in a weird position, 1 bed would get all of it and the other bed gets nothing so 1 person would be cold and the other one quite hot. There were ants everywhere in the room, they would crawl on me while sleeping but lucky they didn't bite. Sometimes the dogs would bark right into the night and early morning, other than that it was quite quiet. The ladies at the reception weren't very enthusiastic. It's located near the beach but honestly this beach was not worth staying near. There's a bus that comes around and you can catch it to get into town but there's no bus stop and no timetable. There's a little supermarket nearby (but expensive) and a little Mexican/Korean restaurant in that same complex. We stayed for 4 nights and not once they offered to clean the room. Overall the room price was expensive for what you get.

Stayed there twice for one night each, for that, it was an excellent value for money. Super friendly people, dogs to pet and cuddle and really good vibes. Facilities are a bit dirty and sleeping in a room with 30 other people has its drawbacks, but honestly, next time I'll be in Nadi I'll probably stay there again.

Very laid back hostel, super friendly staff. Beds were clean and comfy. |They offer some free activities like weaving, ring making and evening kava which I would highly recommend. Tex is an absolute legend!||Sister hostel Bluewater lodge is right round the corner and you can use that pool.
