Bamboo Yoga Retreat

We have just returned from a wonderful holiday. We stayed for 2 weeks. It is honestly superb, the beach feels like you are on a deserted island. We stayed in a cabin, the cheapest one and it was very comfortable There are cabanas which look stunning. The food is absolutely incredible- how they provide such a varied menu- I wished they did cookery classes. The staff make this place; everyone goes out of their way to look after you and make your holiday wonderful. We are new to yoga and were a little apprehensive but all the instructors are inclusive and there are modifications for every level. You have to be at ease with everything that nature brings. We even saw monkeys on the path to Bamboo. We will definitely return.

My first yoga holiday and I will be back! Great yoga teachers, each with excellent knowledge and training. Amazing vegetarian food with great variety. You can get fish or meat cooked if you like. Nice selection of cocktails too. Exceeded my expectations. Had a cabana on the beach which was a lovely bit of paradise.

The food was absolutely delicious, and the staff were so friendly and attentive—they went above and beyond, fully catering to my gluten intolerance.||The rooms are charming, the yoga was simply fabulous, and the entire experience felt like pure magic. Glorious location. Very well appointed bungalows. Excellent food- choices and plenty of it. All the staff were exceptional. Yoga teachers were so good at adapting techniques to suit all abilities. A thoroughly enjoyable week. I would highly recommend it.

We came to bamboo yoga retreat for the yoga (4th visit) and love it not only for the Yoga but also for the friendships and the (which is amazing) and the inner peace that it delivers. ||We went as a couple and hung out with all sorts --families, individuals and other couples. We augmented our Yoga experience with local trips to town, boat ride, swims and even a cooking demonstration. Some also did a few private lessons with instructors while we loved the fabulous massages that were available.||What can I say...the experience facilitates recapturing inner peace and focusing on physical agility and strength.||can't wait to return!|Linda from Canada

This is one of the best places I visited. Accommodations were excellent. Location is secluded and beautiful, food was unbelievable and Yoga classes were perfect. All staff were friendly ensuring we are having a great time.

One of the best vacations we have ever experienced. The staff is uniformly wonderful and attentive, the yoga teachers are top quality, and the food was the best we have had in India (this was our 5th trip to India). The setting could not be more serene and beautiful.

A fabulous venue for a yoga retreat or holiday. They seemed to have thought of everything by way of comfort and facilities needed. The staff were wonderful (very smiley!). A real treat practicing yoga overlooking the ocean. I would highly recommend Bamboo Retreat Centre.
