Bambu Battambang Hotel

This hotel gives off vintage vibes. peaceful and surrounded by nature. Here’s my quick rundown: Hotel: • Old-style equipment with a charming vintage touch. Dim lighting, a big shower, and classic tiled floors. • The TV is old, not a smart one. • The room is very spacious, though the bed is about 1.6m wide. • You’ll often hear sounds when guests check in or out, it’s never completely quiet 🤣 • Hot and cold water available in the shower. Restaurant: • Free breakfast , don’t miss the kuy teav and coffee. • Happy hour from 5:00 to 7:00 pm with 50% off drinks. • The food is great, and even non-guests come here to eat. • Excellent service , the staff speak very good English. Overall: A lovely spot, especially for foreigners who enjoy vintage charm and a mix of Western and Khmer food.The location is great just a 10 minute walk to the market and other popular spots around town.

Spacious rooms with a terrace and huge shower rooms! Nice pool, whoever if other guests traveling in groups are noisy, the pool area will not be very relaxing. The food from the restaurant is delicious! The staff is very attentive. Breakfast could be better.

The boutique hotel looks nice. They have tried to keep the local charm, But the rooms are not really convenient. For example, there are no side tables near bed to keep your things, The only table , which hosts TV, Phone, Kettle is small for all these things. There is no place to keep you luggage. The beds are not really comfortable. The bathroom is clean but lacks amenities. They have set menu breakfast which is just ok. The location is alright but the surround are is not so nice.

There is so much to like about this hotel , the building itself is lovely and the pool area is great . However when you book a hotel a must is a good nights sleep and this was definitely not the case for the 3 nights that we had at the hotel . On the first night the music from the club next door was so loud is our room that I could feel the vibration on the bed . I went down to reception and they said they would phone them ? But assured the music will finish soon . Guess what it didn’t and still going at 2 , 3 am . Next day we asked to be moved , which the hotel were very accommodating over , however whilst the noise wasn’t as bad at night , it still wasn’t great . Should have known it was a bad sign when ear plugs were put next to our bed for each guest . It’s not a cheap hotel and not good enough to expect customers to put up with that level of disturbance from the noise next door.

Hotel good but the bed was so uncomfortable when guide asked IF we could change rooms he was told that all the beds were the same. Husband and I both woke up with sore backs. Breakfast ok

The room was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The staff were friendly and attentive, always ready to help with a smile. This hotel offers great value for the price. If you’re looking for a place with comfortable rooms and a breakfast that’ll make you look forward to waking up, I’d definitely recommend it.

Best Hotel we stayed since long time. The stuff is super friendly. Hotel is ambitious to work eco-friendly. The rooms are very tidy and spaceious altough the mattress is a little hard - No problem for us but maybe for you. Swimmingpool and VERPFELGUNG are top. We had a great breakfast and nice Snacks at the bar. Enjoy and relax!

The room is beautiful but I don't love the tiles. I wish they installed a ceiling fan at the balcony.Bathroom tiles are a bit tired. I don't like how they put the shower gel etc in a bottle. I wish they provided slippers as the room floor is fully tiled, not wooden flooring. The room also doesn't have phone, so for sny request, you have to go down. The staff were great, spoke good English and they recommended a great tuktuk driver and booked our bus ticket to Siem Reap. The hotel did not charge extra for the services.
