Bambu Guest House

This was my second stay at the Bambu Guest House this year. I got to stay in the newest room. It's surrounded by bamboo and I could hear the river from my porch. The staff is kind and keep the place looking great. I will be returning!

Amazing stay. The hospitality, cleanliness, location, and food were outstanding. This was my first time in Lake Atitlán, and it won't be the last. Bambu Guest House will be where I stay for all future visits. Can't recommend it enough

Had such a relaxing stay here! As soon as we arrived we felt so calm, it has amazing views of the lake and a nice, natural decor. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. The food and drinks were also tasty. It's a bit isolated so definitely best to go if you feel like chilling for a couple of days. That said, you can walk (15 mins on a hill) or tuk tuk down to the wharf and get a boat to explore other towns though if you want to during the day.

Absolutely loved my stay here. The animals were friendly and cuddly, the views were incredible, and the rooms were the most fun I have ever had at a hotel. The small restaurant they have on the observation deck is pretty good as well, and the sauna is very nice, too.

STAY HERE!!! I’ll be back, for sure! I stayed for a month at Bambu for my yoga teacher training, and cannot say ENOUGH good things about it. The food is amazing! They can accommodate dietary needs so easily. The rooms are spacious, clean, and come with a gorgeous view. The permaculture values are strong with this place as they respect the land, resources, food and energy they use. I have never met such kind, welcoming, safe, conscientious and friendly people. I HIGHLY recommend staying here. It is worth your money and such a beautiful way to invest in this gorgeous Lake Atitlan. I’ll be back!

Bambu Guest House is a gorgeous retreat center that served as the perfect sanctuary for our yoga and wellness retreat. This naturally built center is comfortable and clean. The farm-to-table restaurant provided us with delicious, healthy, simple and organic meals. Practicing on the spacious yoga deck was a blessing, as well. So highly recommended!

I can highly recommend the Bambu Guest House. I stayed here for a month for my Yoga Teacher Training and I loved every minute of it. The Guest House as a beautiful view, the food was beyond my expectations and the staff became family. Thank you Bambu for being a huge part of my training and travels in Guatemala.

The town is really far up from everything but it gives you the perfect condition to relax and enjoy nature. The guest house is clean, the rooms are well equiped and the service is really friendly.
