We had an awesome experience in Siem Reap at the Bambu Stage. We really liked the show we saw in this beautiful place, the explanations at the beginning, the kindness of the passionate owner and the incredible group of young artists. They even let use try using the puppets at the end which was really fun. A must see in Siem Reap !

We came just for the shadow puppet performance and enjoyed it so, so much! They've just started back up since covid and we were the only two people in the audience, but these talented young men gave such an earnest, professional, and personalized performance that I was deeply moved. $12 entry fee gets you a ticket and a cold drink--and a wonderful hour-long performance. The night we went they did a short theater/dance number about modern plastic use. It was relevant and very powerful. The second act was a traditional shadow-puppet show and was much lighter--slapstick comedy style. All this to say...you can't miss it! It was such a magical night for us and I wish these young performers much success. The show starts at 8:30 pm and you can reserve a spot by messaging them on their Facebook page.

It was funny chaotic and culturally entertaining. At times difficult to hear or understand the puppeteers but good fun nevertheless. We were invited to try to manipulate the puppets after the show which was really a treat

Mala and John really have a nice venue. Fire ring, soft mood lighting made a tranquil atmosphere. This is a great place to just chill and enjoy a beer. The shows were unique. Snaps/Decoded showed the evolution of the temples with a model and historic photos. "Rhythms" all girl drummers had the beat. "Shadow Theatre" was really funny. Highly recommended!

Really fun experience, unique. They put their hearts into the performance and our group loved it. Performance was in English, they were interactive with the audience in such a fun way, and they let us try working the shadow puppets afterwards. Just a word of warning though- the owner said they had an issue with TripAdvisor hiking the ticket prices and are no longer honoring tickets from TripAdvisor. We purchased our tickets in person so it wasn't an issue. Would go again if I'm in Siem Reap again!

To keep the Cambodian art thriving and spread the word to the world , this is the stage... The artists are good at their performance and if you are lucky you get to meet archie, the house puppy . He is just a charm
