About the restaurant: The food, when it finally arrives, is often cold, though when it's hot, it's quite tasty. We've been here for four nights, and every day we waited a minimum of 15 minutes to get the attention of a waiter, and then at least 30 minutes to get the food. The longest wait was a full hour! It was frustrating, and that's not how I am supposed to feel during my vacation. About the front desk and activities: the girls are really attentive and can recommend and schedule a lot of things to do here. It’s very handy. In this hotel you have also jacuzzi (the water is quite cold) and pool, board games and different activities. The rooms are nice and clean. We’ve been to cocobolo - garden view and it’s nice but very dark inside. It would be a very nice stay if not the restaurant experience which was very frustrating and disappointing.

So first of all, Madeleine and Victor. Amazing people with great customer service skills. You know the kind, they'll accommodate requests but also set boundaries kindly when something can't be done, always with a smile and an evident willingness to help. Can't say enough good stuff about them, although the rest of the staff was also really nice. With that out of the way, our room had a thing in the showers where I had to DJ with the knobs to get hot water, which wasn't great. My wife and I stayed innone bungalow while my mom stayed in a separate one and on our last day hers got flooded because of some issue with the shower drain piping. Out rooms didn't have an AC, but you don't really need it since it gets fairly cold (for the region) at night. Our room had a ceiling fan, but it was too noisy to put it on at night. Still, breakfast was included and was really good. The mood in the place was chill and I would definitely recommend it if you have a car and can get around since the hotel is a bit off the beaten path from downtown Boquete. We stayed in mid November, where we had a nice mix of rain drizzle and sunny mornings. Great atmosphere all around, and again a great staff made up for the shortcomings, which is definitely why we'll be back in the future.

That was my favourite hotel in Panama. I was staying in the just right hobbit and I loved it. The staff was super helpful and just great, the view from the hotel was fantastic, everything very clean and still new, the common areas beautifully decorated. On Christmas Eve, the hotel organized a Christmas dinner. My recommendation!!

Honestly just a really stunning spot. First impressions were great. Rooms really tastefully done. With spectacular views. I think one of the things I really loved is that the rooms and panelling (I believe) were done with locally sourced wood; the room I was in had a wonderful aroma from the resin. It was amazing. The staff here are very kind and accommodating and you get the sense this is a place you can just exist for a while. I really enjoyed my stay here.

Absolutely the biggest disappointment in Panama. Owners recently sold to a major corporation and ruined the entire experience. No power when we arrived and no information on when it would return. The staff couldn’t care less about the guests. Waited nearly 2 hours for pizza and all 3 came out at 30minute intervals. The staff laughed in our face when we asked about the wait times. The staff also then spoke Spanish making fun of us to each other thinking we couldn’t understand. One pizza was also burnt. Our drinks also took nearly an hour. No one checked on us. There were 4 tables at the time. All 3 of us come from the service industry and are very forgiving yet this experience was nearly appaling. ||They also “offer” a shuttle service and said they’d ask us if he was working and didn’t get back to us for a few hours until we went up to reception to ask again…when getting the shuttle they also weren’t clear at all on how to get back LOL. When checking out they tried to recharge us for an additional 3 shuttles that we had very clearly already paid for. ||There’s tvs in the rooms but nothing signed in and no cast options or cable so kinda pointless…power also cut out 2nd last night and clearly blew a fuse and none of our outlets or tv worked. ||The restaurant staff after the first day was phenomenal, male staff only. ||This is not at all a social environment. The group chat posts daily activities but doesn’t include prices or availability which makes no sense. The tours in town are significantly cheaper and include more. ||We ended up leaving a day early due to all of these issues and don’t plan to return or recommend this stay to anyone.

Such a cool place! Feels like staying in a Hobbit castle up in the Boquete mountains. My room was super clean + comfy with insane views over the coffee fields. Staff are awesome, food is great, and the zipline tour is a must. Loved chilling in the garden and library—perfect spot to reset after chasing waves on the coast.

i dont usually take time to write reviews but this place is special. we enjoyed an extraordinary experience at Bambuda. Wonderful people, gorgeous views and scenary, close to attractions. our hobbit cabana was charming, clean and everything we wanted. The cabanas have grass roofs like Lord of the Rings. Great food, pool table, huge hot tub that flows into a small hot tub swimming pool! wifi is fast. showers are hot and classy. flowers everywhere for my wife to photograph. lots of colorful birds including hummingbirds. Panama has over 150 species of hummingbirds. we just had a blast here and will send our friends and family. Boquete is a true jewel.

A stunning location with plenty room to relax. Beautiful views over the valley. Nice jacuzzi and fun games room too. A good restaurant and very helpful hotel staff. Big thanks to Melanie and Robeli on reception for all their help on reception.
