Bambuda Lodge

We just had a fantastic stay at the Bambuda Lodge. The location is stunning. You can just relax all day around the pool and enjoy the large variety of drinks or participate in activies. We had an awesome jungle tour with Alec. The rooms itself are also nice, clean and well maintained. The staff is attentive and really kind. 5/5 Would def. come again. Thanks

Really enjoyed our stay at Bambuda. Lovely setting with very friendly staff. Family dinner was nice and the food was different every night. Some real tasty meals! The dorm we stayed in was nice, beds had curtains which gave some privacy. The slide was super fun, but be warned it is crazy! They make you sign a waiver before going on it 😂 Loads of seating options around the pool and up in the dining area. Just a great atmosphere and really easy to meet people and chat.

We LOVED our stay at Bambuda Lodge. The vibe was incredible, the staff were so kind, and the property had a whimsical chic rustic luxury feel to it. The workaway volunteers made our time extra special with hiking through the jungle and playing group games at night. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Stayed here for 10 days, loved it here, lots of things to do in the area plus in the hostel. Nice little gym with ping pong table. The jungle hike is cool and leaves from the hostel, our tour guide was Alek , raw dogged it bare feet, him and rocky (the dog) were great tour guides. The whole staff was great.

I stayed here for two nights on a family trip and it was LOVELY. The plants/landscaping is gorgeous, the “hobbit hole” we stayed in was so comfy and relaxing, the food and beverages were delicious, and the staff was extremely helpful/friendly/wonderful!!! I played ping pong in the rec room and took multiple taxi boats to different islands. The hourly taxi boats were so convenient. I would definitely go back! This is such a fun place to stay if you have friends or family with you. Everyone can have a separate living space and meet up for meals and activities. ALSO the pool is gorgeous with lots of seating. Highly recommend— this is a great “base camp” for anyone visiting Bocas del Toro!

Such a great vibe. As a solo traveler, it's awesome to have a sense of community and all activities arranged. Alek told me all about the local surfing spots and was very helpful. Shari was also great.

He listens carefully, provides insightful feedback, and analyzes your technique to help you progress efficiently. His calm and encouraging approach creates the perfect learning environment. Loved this hostel. Great social environment and the pool and slide were lots of fun. The staff were all so incredible. They were all so kind it was crazy. Especially Marlén!! I left a shirt in my room after i checked out and she brought it to the airport for me right before my flight out. Seriously can’t recommend this place enough!
