万记福建面Ban Kee (Campbell Road)

First timer here. Is such a hidden gem . Second generation running this old school restaurant. We ordered all in Ala carte hokkien mee , sin chew fried mihun and fried egg with bittergourd . They claimed this is one of the best hokkien mee you must try if you come here. But for me , I preferred a dryer version of it and it’s Not enough of wok hei . Sin chew mihun is above average . One of the best I ever had before. Not greasy and salty at all . Beansprout is crunchy superb enjoyable with the mihun . Rm12 for this I’m happy . Bitter gourd fried egg rm12 is superb generous . I love how they cooked their bitter gourd and not too soft to chew . You can still feel the crunch of the bitter gourd. Abit greasy but it’s good though Total bill of rm36 for Dai Chao as dinner such a good deal. But the hygiene for the restaurant should be improve .

Top picks are the grilled crabs which were huge and tasty (need to preorder), lala in soup, hokkien mee and the or-Chien (egg and oyster). Glad that not many people are frequenting this place so service is quick and really really good comfort food.

Great food though the place looks old. Hockkien mee is delicious. The seafoods are fresh and not pricey. Reasonable price. Will visit again.

Such a hidden gem! The seafood was so fresh at a reasonable price. Lala and signature crab worth giving a try. Such a special experience in which you get a chance to "operate" the crab yourself. Restaurant located at an old shop lot.

Ordered stir fried marmite pork and yau muck with garlic. The pork tasted great, and with crunchy vegetables was a great simple meal, washed down with iced chysentimum tea. Highly recommended for simple Chinese cooking at good prices.

Feel homy to see all old staff working together. We order hokkien noodle and fried mee sua.

Hokkien mee is must try. Fried oyster still acceptable but can skip Cantonese ying yong. Will try crab for next time visit

Satay kambing is awesome with beers. Hokkien noodle is good. But seems like they are popular for their seafood dishes. Definitely will be back again
