Banan Hotel

Non - guests able to use the pool for $3 which was fab !!! Had a great afternoon spent at the pool :)

I stayed in an apartment at Banan for 1 1/2 months and really enjoyed it. I cannot speak to the traditional hotel rooms, but only to the apartments and overall hotel facilities. The overall facilities are nice and clean. The pool is never busy and Subin, the manager is always incredibly helpful. I really liked my apartment, which had a bedroom, two bathrooms (including washing machine) and a kitchen. I found the price reasonable compared to hotel rooms. I know you can rent cheaper apartments in Battambang, but I enjoyed that I was on the 6th floor and thus felt very safe and secure. Also I really liked the location, right next to Lucky Supermarket and close to downtown. Banan is currently undergoing a bit of remodeling but I did not find that to be bothersome. Overall a great experience!

I stayed 2 nights at the hotel. After the first night, I left my belongings at the hotel. I asked them to clean my rooms. The room cleaned but a few of my personals belongings were stolen. Anyone read this review, please secure all your personal belongings. Locked in luggages Anything missing, no one takes responsibility for customers belongings goes missing. Soooo 😢 I will never stay there ever again 😔😔😔

I have loved this hotel for years, because of the friendly staff. |It’s aimed at local business people rather than foreign tourists, and some of the fixtures and fittings are a little eccentric. They no longer do breakfast, but there are many places nearby for this - it’s between two supermarkets as well.||But it’s clean, spacious, has excellent hot showers and a nice swimming pool.

The front desk staff is so friendly and helpful and kind, especially the daytime manager. The location is very convenient, especially with the bicycle that the hotel provided me with for no additional charge. The pool is big and clean and never crowded. I would happily stay at the Banan Hotel again.

Amazing beautiful hotel, great price, good location. The hall is charming in Khmer style, all in wood with impressive sculptures.| Rooms are very comfortable, spacious and clean with all comfort. There is also a new pool on the roof. |Staff is efficient and really kind, made us feel at home, they arranged for us the trip to Siem Reap by taxi, cheap and fast. |Battambang is a lovely, old fashioned city with a lot of art galleries, university and small restaurants. Try the Sunrise Coffee House for your breakfast, very close tho the hotel, everything is homemade and delicious.

The hotel had nice, spacious and clean rooms (colonial style) and there is a nice pool. Ok breakfast. Not a lot of atmosphere, but it was low season and the whole city felt a bit asleep to us. 10 minutes on foot from the old market.

Ok hotel situated about 10 mins from town. Decked out in typical Khmer wooden style, it's comfortable but a bit overpriced for what you can get elsewhere in town. I didn't find it overly friendly- contrary to other reviews- but the concierge with the spiky hair hit on me :-) Aircon wasn't working in my room & wasn't fixed as promised. Was moved though to another room. Ok stay but the Royal is better.
