My five friends and I arrived for our three night stay and as we were shown our room the floors were covered in hair and filthy, clearly had not been cleaned, there was random belongings all over the furniture despite us being the only ones currently staying there. One friend found stray hairs in her bed as well. When we would ask questions such as “do you know where the closest pharmacy is?” Or anything like that, the employees would respond with “idk” and offer no help. from the first night that we were uncomfortable. There were many other instances of feeling like a burden to the employees. On our last day, we came home and our belongings had been taken out of bags and placed into others, (thank god we were all together and not strangers) our dirty laundry thrown on to our beds. My friend’s bed’s light and outlet were broken so she asked an employee if it were possible to switch into one of the two open beds. One responded with “idk that’s a lot of work” and the other kindly said, “of course let me help you!” And came into our room to move her bedding on to a new bunkbed. When our two other bunk mates arrived they told us that the owner had told them that “we moved beds around and were not supposed to do that” and that was why their beds were not ready. When my friend confronted the owner and explained that it was his employee that had approved and moved the sheets, he said that was not true. On our last night my friend could not find her personal blanket she brought (this was not odd due to all of our belongings being placed in eachothers) and she found it outside in the common area, soaking wet from the rain. Our door to our room did not lock and did not shut or latch unless you pushed with all of your body weight. We came home two nights in a row in the early hours of the morning to the front door being unlocked which was located directly next to our room. There are only two bathrooms that we were allowed to use with one toilet in each. There were some awesome employees that showed us nothing but kindness, however it did not make up for all of the discomfort and unsafeness we felt while staying here.
