Banana Republic Factory Store

Staff were patient enough and provided help when required. The store itself didn't seem to have much discounts compared to their website. But not a bad spot to stop at if you are already in the area shopping at other stores in the same strip mall.

The staff and service here are excellent and unless you pick a weekend it’s not very crowded or busy. Good luck on weekends or holidays getting anything else done that day. I love their huge selection of brands and their costs are through the floor! I keep going back because I like being able to pick out a fashionable yet affordable wardrobe every couple years for under $300 especially when I travel.

Banana Republic has wonderful customer service. I was greeted almost as soon as I walked into the store by a friendly associate. The store was clean and well lit and after browsing for 10-15 minutes I found a few different shirts I liked that I ended up buying.

Citadel's Banana Republic outlet store is a tad bigger than other locations in the area. Which means more choice, but when they have sales, it also means more people...

The blonde lady store manager has to be the least empathic person I've experienced in retail. My 70 year old disabled mom needed to take a seat for a minute, she walks with the aid of a walking stick and she had sat down on the corner of a display table where there was no one looking. The manager told her she couldn't sit, she didn't even offer her an alternative seat. I spoke up and she offered my mother a seat in the change room. It's unbelievable how cold hearted someone can be to an elderly disabled women. I really hope this draws the attention of the people in charge of the manager.

Sales here are insane, I just walked out with two cardigans and a hoodie plus heels for only like $75! This place is even cheaper than a normal Banana Republic outlet but with the same great customer service! Also, remember to bring by your AAA card or Student ID for an additional 10% off! Their selection isn’t as vast but that’s balanced out by the prices and service here.

Very good deals are available, but expect large crowds on the weekend.

Ordered a jacket online and it was big. It was final sale and i called to see if they can exchange it for a smaller size and they wouldn't. I'm not trying to return it I'm trying to exchange it. We don't know how something is going to fit until we actually try it on. I think this is unacceptable!

This place is FANTASTIC! I ordered BRF items online (a big order) and called this store to see if they had some items available in person for return- the person who helped me over the phone confirmed that some items were available. I drove down to the store, exchanged some of my items in person and then the associates helped reorder some of the items online. I was in-and-out of the store in 20 minutes and everyone was so nice and helpful. I will be coming here again.

They have some nice clothes here but they are on the pricey side. We looked around but didn't see anything that we really wanted to buy even at the extra discounted sales rack. If you work in an office and see clients in person this would be a nice wardrobe to have.

I ordered just a few times. Quality of garments is seriously lacking. Prices are good once you receive a heavy discount but you definitely get what you pay for. On top of all of that: A refund will take nearly 1 month to receive. I never wore the garment. It was opened, tried on for sizing, put in a drawer and never had the opportunity to wear it due to constant hot weather in FL. So I decided to return it. BRF received the return on December 15, 2021. It's the fourth day into 2022 and still no refund. Customer Service keeps giving me the run around. What terrible service. I was notified on December 15, 2021 that my return was received and a refund would be within 15 business days. NOT TRUE. I will not be purchasing anything more from this company. There are plenty others, like ASOS, who refund almost immediately. There is NO EXCUSE for this. Except greed!

I have never written a review but this time, I can't let it go. This should really be a zero star review. I was here Sunday 8/14 and the manager seems to be a racist. I was trying to return a brand new jacket with tags on for store credit at their lowest sale price (since I was past the return window by a few weeks, I was ok with receiving less than the price I had paid). She had a demeaning attitude towards me and treated me like I was a criminal abusing the system. If you don't want to honor the store policies then so be it. No need to treat someone like that and intimidate & threaten them.

Got some pretty good deals for work shirts at this BR Factory Store. $19.99 for a chambray s/s button up and $24.99 for blue linen s/s button up. Both were at least 40-50% off. I appreciate those kind of prices. Because it's an outlet store, it's actually what I expect. I wear a lot of BR apparel for work and for going out. The styles are usually in line with what I like. Fitting rooms were clean and the fitting room attendant was pleasant. The wait in line was short and the cashier was friendly and answered my questions. Granted it was a weekday. I will definitely be back the next time I need to buy work clothes.

Been to this Citadel BR store countless times, not as much variety. I have not bought much in this store for a long time. Just keep trying to find a deal every time I am in the neighborhood. The lines always seem to be longer at this store for some reason. Oh well, I will be back again soon, Which way next?

The white store manager who said her name was "kendra" after refusing to give me her name multiple times made my shopping experience SUPER uncomfortable. She followed my friend and I throughout the store and kept staring at us throughout the whole time. I was already paying at the cashier and I had that weird feeling she was still staring at me. I looked back and sure enough she was looking straight at me. As a person with a Latino background I have never felt so uncomfortable when I shop. I don't know if I would shop here again and I would not recommend anyone else to either.

Don't use PayPal with the online store. It took payment without telling the final total with tax and shipping. It also automatically shipped to the address on my PayPal account without regard to where i wanted to ship the item. Called to cancel, no email confirmation of my request. Ridiculous that the cancelation was not guaranteed since I called immediately after.

On my way to my DTLA appointment, I had 30 minutes to spare for a bit of shopping. I headed straight here, as most of my wardrobe comes from this fashionably perfect store. The clearance selection was very minimal. Not a very big selection to browse through, so I started browsing the rest of the sales floor. I wanted to make a purchase so bad, so I was looking for something that would be fitting for the upcoming spring/summer season. So I was taking a look at the solid v-necks and polos. I was able to find a blue striped crew neck shirt for $8. Guess what? I had a $5 reward certificate and they're offering an additional 10% off using the BR card. Left the store only paying about $2.50 for the shirt. Great purchase, happy customer.

I have been shopping online at both Banana Republic Factory and Gap Factory Oulet for almost 10 years. I have worn the same size the whole time. This recent order, JAN2023, consisted of 2 tops, 3 pairs of work pants. (Remember, same size for 10 years.) The only thing that fit was one of the tank tops I bought as an undershirt. This was surprising considering I ordered the same pair of pants last year in a different color. The ones that arrived in this shipment were not only too big, but an entirely different material than advertised. Quality is out the window. Fit is wildly varying within the same item. Looks like I can't shop for clothes online anymore. The pants were on sale and still $60. I anticipated the same fit as the previous pair seeing as how I ordered the same pant. Incredibly disappointed.

Never, will I ever...purchase from the 'online' Banana Republic Factory Store. I promptly returned poorly constructed clothing the day after I received them, and have been waiting for nearly a month for my refund. Call #4 to the 'questionable' call center staff still yields, no refund. Phone call #5 to the call center and I'm given assurances that someone will call me within 24 - 48 hours however, no one calls me and I receive an email to call them, again! Phone call #6, call center states my refund will be issued within 3 - 5 business days however, I receive an email stating that my credit for returned merchandise, will be in 10 business days. I give them a 1 rating (should be a zero) for really bad business practices. Oh, and did I mention that my call #1 to the call center, they told me that I'm responsible for calling them 15 days after they have received my merchandise to begin the return process? WTH?

I like that there are amazing deals here but the customer service is not good at all. In one incident, a Caucasian cashier passed a customer, who was Latino and had a bunch of clearance items to purchase, onto her Latino coworker. I heard the Caucasian cashier said she didn't "hablo espanol" as she passed on the customer. Such racist and unprofessional employees!

Wow I bought a bunch of pants and shirts from this location and the guy at the register didn't remove the security tags on any of them. If he missed one item I could understand but he missed like 5 of them. Had to take the pants to a nearby GAP to get them removed then the next day noticed he missed a sweater too so had to go back again. Incompetence.

I don't know what happened but Banana Republic really did a good sale and had sweaters for only $8.00 when it was originally $57.00!! That is just crazy, and almost bananas. This BR is located at the Citadel and actually I really didn't feel like going in since my last experience at a different location but I said why not just a peak. Found two wonderful sweaters for under $15.00 and will be able to take it on my trip to China for the winter time. Can't wait and loving it.

Boxers! Boxers! Boxers! It's the Boxer rebellion all over again! Dang, I've got to implement the AAA Discount! Well, we have to see. This is the place I get my boxers! I have the Banana Republic credit card, so I get my boxers for free! The price on the boxers used to be cheaper but the quality is pretty good, so I can't complain. If I see some good specials or something, I usually bite. Good location for me, plenty of parking and I go in the back way, the side street by Carl's Jr. Turn at Carl's Jr. side street and keep going past Carl's Jr. for a while and you are lead into the "back door" or rear entrance, so you can miss out on all the traffic in the front.... unless you like to take about 15-20 minutes longer to park? ^_^ You can exit this way also when you leave and it heads straight into the 5 Fwy going West, so you can Catch the 710 N also, don't remember if the 710 S is here too.

This store offers quality clothing for all ages and are reasonably priced. When they mark down the prices of their merchandise, you earn really good savings because you get quality clothes for a bargain price. Their clothes are quality made and I like that they really fit good. Everytime I go to Banana Republic Factory Store, it is always worth the trip.

Good deals, but when the store gets busy on weekends they really need to turn the ac on higher. Goodness, it was so stuffy and hot when I went and I saw other people in line that were sweating! The deal are pretty good usually that you don't really need to go digging in the clearance section for good deals because the rest of the store is discounted. The clearance section usually isn't that big anyways. Don't forget to use your AAA or student ID because you get an additional 10%. Also if there's an in store promotion such as text promotion or something of the sort, they will let you stack the promotions.

Come early to get good parking. Structure coming soon in the fall. Always found good bargains here, but some items are expensive. Usually go when there's a big sale and there's an additional coupon. Coupon is sent through email or facebook.

Banana Republic Factory Store is one of my favorite stores at the Citadel to shop for work apparel. I also love that they have a petite section! I love Banana Republic, but hate paying full price for their stuff. Yes, this store can be pricey. The best time to go is during the holidays. Yes, it will be crowded, but that is when you get the best deals! I also frequent the sales racks as they can have an additional percentage off. You can get a snag pair of work pants for under $20. As a precaution, always double check your receipt before you leave the store. One holiday weekend, the cashier overcharged me not once, but three times and had to get it adjusted. Tip: If you have a AAA card, you get 10% off!

Stopped by here 3 days before Christmas with my mom and husband while shopping at the Citadel Outlet. At the time, everything in the store was an additional 40% off in the store. With the VIP discount card (can get this for free if you show the customer service desk your triple A card), I can get an additional 10% off my total purchase. But on my retail me not app, there was an even better deal of getting an additional 20% off my total purchase (total score!). Anyways, I purchased quite a bit of items for my family members (nothing for myself, as I was the one some how designated to stand in line since it was rather long and ever so growing) for Christmas at an excellent price (of course the additional 20% off total purchase coupon made it even better though). I agree with other previous yelpers' reviews that this store does seem a little on the small side, but it still has plenty of excellent quality clothing items that are fashionable and quite trendy.. it's Banana Republic after all and I like wearing this brand because a lot of times this brand fits me better than other brands for some reason. Whenever I come to the Citadel Outlet, I ALWAYS stop by Banana Republic to see what I can add to my wardrobe from here and will keep doing so. Hopefully next time some else can be the designated line stander though.

I've been to this store countless times, and the only real deals I see is post-Thanksgiving when the entire store is 40% off. I got a really nice pea coat as a result. :-) Add on the lowly advertised AAA discount, and you get a couple more bucks off! As for the selection throughout the year, I wouldn't count on it to find something when I have a special occasion to hit (Forever 21 would be better at that, for sure!). Customer service barely exists here and it seems that the regular priced stores have better customer service (especially the one in Old Town Pasadena!).

Staff won't let me go in fitting room with my mother to help her try on her outfit. my mother is currently disabled and not able to do things on her own. idiotic staff doesn't understand the situation my mother is in.

Awesome outlet shops. This store is 75% off of Banana Republic prices and I find that the customer service is still in line with the regular Banana Republic stores. I love the quality of the clothes and choose this store to find many deals for my fashion needs. As a petite woman with some junk in the trunk ( ;) ) I can find things that actually fit my frame without having to have my clothes altered, love that.

Very good deal's for black Friday got some Holliday shopping done for the family Employee working hard & friendly

I recently was able to get up to The Citadel on a Sunday afternoon to go hunting for some work clothes. I had found that on the BR Outlet Facebook page, you could get an extra 30% added on the end to any discount you received in store. Bonus! So I trekked up to the LA location, having had terrible luck at the San Diego location (read: it blew). The store itself is about the same size as the other BRO outlets I have been to, but the clearance section had a lot of great stuff, and the discount was added to the already highly discounted prices. Picked up some fantastic deals! The Men's Clearance section alone for me propels this location above the rest. If you just show up on your own you'll find most of the same merchandise with average discounts. Be a savvy shopper and you can score here!

Off to a bad start. I arrived around 9:00am Sunday morning. The rep mouthed open at 9:30. Not a problem. My wife and I went to Starbucks. Came back and around 9:36 another rep graciously apologized and now told me 10:00. Really!? Come on people get it right and get your head out of your asses! This is not a mom and pop store. It's Banana Republic.

Banana republic is the place to go for work clothes. This location had the usual layout but seemed a bit messier than others that I've visited. The sales associate was friendly and promptly greeted us when we entered. They had a great sale going on with 30-70% off select items. There was also 2 racks of clearance items. I had to grab a new blazer for work. Headed straight to the clearance rack to see if I could find anything good. Low and behold, came across a fine Italian black blazer. It retails for $250 but was on clearance for $125. After careful inspection, I determined it was in great condition (minus being slightly wrinkled). There was a 30% off sale for that item and I also had the Citadel savings card for an additional 10% off of a purchase over $100. My total was less than $90 for a blazer that was $250. Great buy in my book. The check out process was quick and easy. Stood in line and was all paid and out he door in about 5 minutes. Two customers were in front of us.

Listen, the problem with this place is that it's not really an outlet store--you are not going to find the same clothes that were in regular Banana Republic stores. Instead, there are cheaper versions of clothes, or clothes that had a defect and weren't good enough for the stores. If you look at the price tags, you'll see that their price is compared to "like" items at BR stores, not the same items at BR. You're much better off hitting the sales at BR than schlepping to the outlet at the Citadel only to find a lot of poorly made or ill-fitting clothing that would never be sold at a regular BR.

The selection here is okay compared to some of the other outlet stores I have been too. Nevertheless, with a 10% AAA discount that applies on top of all existing discounts, there's nothing you can really complain about. Seriously, how many outlet stores actually let you do that? That basically covers the tax. Although it's an outlet, some stuff is still kinda pricey unless it's on sale. If you don't need something right away, just wait every few months or so until they have a 40-50% off sale and then go shop. What I like about the Banana outlet stores is that their sales are typically "true as advertised" -- if it says 50% off, everything is usually 50% off, not "up to 50% off." Lastly, parking can be a pain at Citadel if you go later during the day. Mornings are always the best.

I came here the day after Christmas at 8:30AM - parking was good (everyone was still sleeping!) The whole store was 50% off and I showed my AAA card and saved an additional 10% off - AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!! Like the previous reviews, smaller selection than other outlets. Still a great place to shop for a few basic items.

I was paying for my items and using the reward coupons that I earned from the store. As cashier was ringing up everything he didn't mention about the max amount I can used from the coupon. So then we had to start all over. Then he messed up again by not telling me that the reward coupon was more then the items I purchased and I could not get a refund for the difference. Worst every cashier! His name is Lawrence!!! Didn't care about the customer. I wish I could give him no star!

This store is a great place for young new professionals to build up their closet. They usually go on sale for 40% off and their returns are really easy no worries about buyer's remorse.

Great deals. My husband for an amazing suit for $109! Very organized and clean.

Can we say sparce? Not much of a selection at this location. I guess I'm spoiled by being from the bay area (their company headquarters is in San Francisco) so the outlets up here have a way better selection. I still managed to find a cute top for 60% off, but I was very dissappointed with their selection here.

I found this brand only this week, for many years I didn't shop for this brand because I was not familiar. After spending in one week around 450USD, looks like I have been in with this brand. The price per items very good compared to others that I have bays before. Let see in one year if the items will keep in good service:)

My complaint is based on an experience my friend had at the store. She was given a gift card to the Citadel Outlets and decided to use it at BR. When she brought her merchandise to the counter, the cashier did not know how to use the register and proceeded to scan her gift card numerous times depleting its value to zero. She was unable to make her purchase and it took two weeks to resolve the situation. BR nor the Citadel did not offer to hold the merchandise or in any way rectify the situation.

Deals and selection are always just so-so here, but occasionally you can score a good deal. I always stop in and check every time I visit Citadel. Service here for the most part is average, although one time I got hassled by a rude cashier who rang something up that wasn't given the appropriate discount. She kept insisting I was wrong, and after a short debate, she rolled her eyes and called someone to come over and check the price, whom I had t walk over to the sign and point at it, and he even tried to convince me I was wrong without even looking at the sign, after a bit a coaxing, he read the sign and sure enough, I was right.

As I recall a few years ago this BR use to have a pretty good selections of clothing. Though it seems to have lost touch quite a bit. Blame corporate for that. I think I'll shop at the regular BR from now on. Even their 30+% discounts are a much better steal then here.

Love this place! They have actual factory discount prices, unlike some of the other outlets. They also have amazing sales with additional savings! I love banana republic and love it even more with these great prices!

This was the only shop I found where I found clothes that I liked for myself. Sizes were flattering and the colours were fresh. Their pay systems were temporarily down but the sales assistant was lovely. She kept our items aside and then apologised for our trouble when we came back. Great customer service makes such a difference and is much appreciated. Thank you!

I usually come to this location for the good deals. Thankful for petite section at this location. I find my sizes every time.

Good selection of both Womens and Mens clothing attire, at a reasonable price. For men they have a casual, and working clothes (jackets, slacks and dress shirts). Check them out on Holidays as they offer additional discounts, sometimes up to 70%. Also if you have AAA card they will give you an additional 10% off.

I shop at BR Outlet stores regularly, and this is the worst in terms of customer service. Avoid it if you can.

Absolutely love this store. The have very helpful staff. Great selection of business and casual attire. Sometimes they don't have as much variety in the petites selection as regular. Since um only 5'4 I need a better petite selection but overall great accessories and clothing is good quality.
