I shop here often. They have a large selection. Staff is generally friendly. BEFORE YOU BUY: check the website for the pricing and show the online pricing to the staff at the register. The in-store pricing is way higher sometimes by $80 and they will charge you this unless you show them the website price. Be warned the female manager is curt and dismissive.

Google
Nicely designed store. Felt somewhat luxurious, even though a factory store :) Selection might be a little bit small, but that wasn't an issue for me, since I was there to return items I had purchased online.

Google
This is an attractive and well designed banana republic. They had a great selection of clothes. I was approached by several staff members who were helpful but not pushy. I wish they had more pant styles other than slim. It can be a little overpriced so wait for the periodic sales.

Google
Incredibly rude staff, items are made of poor quality materials, and cashier lied about return policy. When I bought a shirt there recently, I asked the staff what their return policy was. She said “just bring it back in 30 days. That’s all”. And I said “That’s it? Nothing else?” (Looking for: do I have to leave tag on, am I allowed to wash it, etc). She said “nope that’s it”. I wore the shirt one time, washed it, and brought it back within 30 days and they would not allow me to return item because i washed it. I understand policy to not wash, but I specifically asked if their policy included anything aside from 30 day window and they said no. Cashier was extremely rude and short with me. I wouldn’t have bought this overpriced, poor quality shirt if it wasn’t for their advertised loose return policy. Now I’m stuck with it.

I have not been to a store with ruder/racist staff. The staff was totally fine when white customers go into the fitting room without a staff walking them into the room by themselves but when I (PoC) walked into an open fitting room, the staff knocked on my door, insisted that we have to wait for them to walk me into a fitting room? What? Will never visit this place again.

This is my new favorite factory store to visit. I used to shop the regular Banana Republic 12-15 years ago when I worked on 40th & Bdwy. Now, as things have gotten so expensive and everyone is trimming the fat, I have been going to factory stores in hopes of getting similar quality at a better price. This store never fails me. Its location is super accessible by subway or LIRR so you don’t have to worry about driving in. It’s also accessible ; they have an elevator which was a huge help for me as I navigated a rolling walker. The staff is super courteous and willing to help. On both of my last trips, I needed assistance locating something online and they jumped right in without hesitation. The clothing selection walks a fine line between corporate and lifestyle pieces that I prefer to purchase as I get more use as they go across the spectrum of my life: work, church and play and I still look modern and chic. Love that I can accrue points that translate into dollars and it helps that I can also use my teacher discount to get an additional 15%. Win win!

Yelp
These reviews are crazy! I just walked out with a suit for $150! Banana Republic Factory is *the* retailer for those looking to expand their business casual or formal wear wardrobes at the lowest possible price. I now own 4 of their suits, none required tailored, and at weddings I look better than most. This specific store is large, with two floors. The associates were smiley and very helpful. They gladly matched any prices on the website. They were very pushy about the credit card but, whatever, it's part of the game. I told the guy if I wanted an extra 40% off I'd need to buy like 5 suits to make it worth my while. If you need a cheap suit quickly, this needs to be your first stop. These prices are unheard of in 2024. Even if there's no sale, sub $300 is still pretty good. All my friends were telling me hey, go to India to buy a suit! I did go to Indian and my friends bought suits. Guess how much a suit costs in India? Just go to this BR Factory store.

Yelp
Have you ever offered to do the "2 minute survey," and also opted to answer additional questions? I did. It's currently super hot in NYC. While on a "staycation" I decided to do a little shopping. I live a few blocks from this location and I have shopped here after work so many times( Store Manager for a nearby major competitor so usually dressed different). Did I mention it was HOT? I opted to wear a T-shirt, gym shorts and a Nike hat. Not once was I greeted or spoken to, but I was followed around the men's floor several times by an undercover loss prevention agent. I have never felt so uncomfortable shopping in my life. I had other shopping bags he was literally trying to look inside, I'm thinking to see if I slipped something inside. I was so upset I was shaking. Because how I was dressed? Shame on you for judging!! Do better!! As a store manager I've seen things like this happen and could not be more irate at the same type situations that occurred in my location. I quickly took the only three items I had in my hand and proceeded to quickly check out. After checking out I did stay outside to see if the guy following me would leave, no because he worked there. Giving one star cause the lady at check out was overly nice and a second star because this stores deal's are amazing! Will I be back? NO.

Yelp
Pretty cool Banana Republic Factory Store, There located across the street from the Empire State Building, couple blocks away from Madison Square Garden and Macys department flagship store , Herald square The sales -associate and the manager are friendly. are cool pretty down-to-earth people in this store . this reminds me of the Banana Republic Factory store in Fulton Street Mall (Fort Greene -Downtown Brooklyn Area) & 86 street (Bay ridge , Brooklyn), There next Banana Republic factory store in Harlem on 125 street, is just an express ride on the 2, 3-Trains on Seven Avenues (Fashion Avenue) & 34 Street or the A,C- trains on 34 street and 8 avenue or the B,D- trains on Six avenue ( Avenue of Americas & 34 street ) to harlem banana republic factory store , All of these subway lines I mention all go to 125 street Train stations, walking distance to Banana Republic Factory -Harlem store , I like the regular Banana Republic Stores in the Rockefeller center & World Trade Center ( Westfield Mall) and Soho as well Flatiron locations , etc. If I'm in midtown ill definitely would shop here . Very Convivent by the mta transporation: B,D,F,M,N,Q,R,W-Trains. 34 street Train station (Herald Square) or 1,2,3-Trains.34 street , Penn station.( L.I.RR, AMTRAK, N.J. Transit) or A,C,E-Trains 34 street( L.I.RR, AMTRAK, N.J. Transit) Bus: M34 or M34A

Yelp
Shitty customer service. They stated that they would keep things on hold until the next day for 24 hours but ended up not holding it

Yelp
I saw an online listing for cargo pants, but I wanted to try them on. I called the store, spoke with Jacquan, who checked that pants were in stock and offered to put them on hold. She did, I went in, tried them on and they fit and I bought them. And 50% off because factory store. I'm impressed with this customer service.

Yelp
I love coming to this store whenever I am in New York City! I always find alot of great buys plus on sale and if you have an Old Navy credit card, you get an additional 10% off your entire purchase!! What a deal! Also, I use my Old Navy credit card for all my other purchases, i get so many rewards certificates on top of my purchases! Here are my bargains: 1. Long sleeve black dress $17.99 2. Short sleeve black knit dress $13.04 3. Elephant dress $10.86 4. Off the shoulder dress $19.91 Plus received $50 Style Cash coupons for next month to come back!

Yelp
The online ordering is going to be your worst nightmare experience.... I was super excited to receive my order which it turned into the most annoying and frustrating experience ever... don't even bother ever ordering online from this store!!! Associates in store at 34th street are super friendly and nice however my experience with the online ordering and team is horrible, learned my lesson, never again!!!!!

Yelp
This used to be my favorite BR store, I guess at some point they decided to turn this into a factory store(which is my rating is only a three) I'm not a fan of the factory store, the clothes are lesser qualities, not so great colors, among other things. However, I came in yesterday to purchase some casual chino pants. The staff was helpful in assisting me in locating my size--although initially I felt as I was bothering them because five employees were all huddled up together, but the female employee did find my size without going to the stock room. I didn't browse the store because I was only looking for the pants, but I did observe the clearance area to slightly be dis-organized. As I didn't know this store was converted from a BR to a factory store, I probably wouldn't venture back here and I guess now I'm stuck with just the Soho store for all my Banana Republic needs.

John D.

Yelp
Nice store, bought some clothes on sale for a good price. Staff was very nice and helpful.

Chris A.

Yelp
I wanted to buy chinos and jeans online, as they had big discounts. I always like to check reviews, not just the ratings, but the comments, which are the most important part. On every single item I looked at, the reviews did not contain any narrative, which I find curious. I didn't make a purchase as a result.
google avatar

Chris S.

Yelp
The team was so helpful. I had been going all over town to find an item for Easter and finally was able to locate it ONLY at BR Factory 34th Street. A shout out to Melanie (sales rep), Tony (manager) and Genesis (cashier) who made finding and purchasing everything such a breeze! Melanie knew the merchandise of the store (and precisely where to find everything) very readily, the entire team was extremely friendly and professional AND -- my favorite -- they work really well together. Kudos, 34th Street team! You're among my faves!

Yelp
How do you only have 5 fitting rooms open for a 2 story store on a busy Sunday while there are 6+ people (many of them appear to be managers) hanging out at the cash wrap?!
google avatar

Marianne W.

Yelp
This store is huge. My daughter wandered around and comes back to me and says"They don't have many mark downs". I said "Did you look back here?" We turned the corner and there was not just one room with mark downs but two. They are to the rear near the fitting rooms. They keep the store neat and clean. Just like the UES store the men's is on the first floor and women's upstairs. We both agreed we like Rockefeller Center Store better. She didn't find what she was looking for so we headed out. At least we know the lay out if we're in this neighborhood and desire a Banana Republic fix. :-)

Yelp
Excellent Banana Republic location - one of my favorites. Lots to like here. Excellent customer service - I've returned things here and have done so without issue. I've also experienced gracious, welcoming service otherwise Restroom and drinking fountains - a restroom is a WELCOMED sight on 34th Street. Believe dat! Clean fitting rooms. Great sales! Sometimes they 40% off (almost) everything in the store. They also frequently have a sales racks that make the clothes more affordable. The clothes can be expensive for basically what is a Gap Deluxe. But they're usually worth it. Beautiful clothes. Their work dresses are so classes and beautiful. I also love their cardigans
google avatar

Jacqueline R.

Yelp
Very well designed store. The selection of the clothes is great! The staff's helpful will definitely come back!

Yelp
I have been a loyal customer at this store for yeaes..I was here today and getting ready to try on an armful of clothing...I asked to use there bathroom which I've used many times..The manager, Andres, informed me that the policy had changed and it's only for employees...I told her that I had used it just two weeks ago...She said I should go to Panera Bread and use their bathroom and that I should " Not be so entitled and Respect the Policy".....After explaining that I've been such a loyal customer and just couldn't try on the clothes without using the bathroom and I'd only be a second..It's a lousy policy and I no longer wish to shop there..There was always a bathroom for customers to use..I also think this manager's attitude was so bad..I've worked in retail and always went out of my way to let a customer know how valued they are...She could care less, again, "I should not be so entitled respect the policy". Bad business.

Yelp
Wonderful customer service. They were able to order out of stock items in store to be shipped and the store selection was large and very well organized. I came with 3 other ladies and was tired. While they shopped away, I looked for a chair or someplace to sit. I finally found a bench in the back. There was a women in black sprawled out and on the phone. I went to move an empty box to sit and she said it was only for cosmetics. I think that is very unprofessional. If there is a bench a customer should be able to sit before an employee. Otherwise the rest of your crew was a pleasure.

Yelp
Excellent store! By far the beat BR I've been to. The missus and I stopped in here on a walk and found so many deals. We didn't have enough time to shop properly. For all of my fellas, you'll appreciate the 2nd floor which is the Men's department. It's huge! I didn't even have to walk to the back corner to find 75% off. They had four employees on the second floor assisting us. I definitely will make it a point to return here.

Yelp
I'm so glad I picked this Banana Republic to shop in! There was a sale where everything was at least 50% off, but clearance items are an additional 60% off! Some sweaters were even 70% off! Apparently this Banana Republic has a lot of sales going on throughout the year. Interestingly enough, there isn't a max of how many clothes we can bring in when going to the fitting room. There are two fitting room sections - the first floor having 5 rooms, while the second floor has 12 rooms. With this in mind, even with some people bringing in a lot of clothes, the lines weren't too long for me because of how many rooms Banana Republic has. Although it looked like a madhouse with so many customers shopping for so many clothes, the staff members continued to be very helpful for everyone. When we bought our clothes, we ended up signing up for the Banana Republic card, saving 20% for our purchase! In addition, we also used a student discount to save an additional 10%! So I only ended up paying $115 and saved $183, while my boyfriend paid $130 and saved $240! it's amazing to see how we can get Banana Republic's high quality clothes for the price of H&M clothing. Looks like this will be our new default store!
google avatar

Andrew D.

Yelp
I like Banana Republic for their good selection of classic business casual and casual clothes that fit my body well. They always have good sales regularly. This store has a good selection but I was looking for dress shoes, which they did not have in this store.
google avatar

Liana L.

Yelp
Awesome sales, meh salespeople. But really, at this point in my adult life, I don't need great customer service at clothing shops when I just wanna get clothes, pay and leave ASAP. This location is conveniently located in Midtown, and the sales in the back are amazing; I've gotten tons of winter sweaters, both work and fun dresses, and Sloan pants for $15-20. No complaints!
google avatar

Debbie B.

Yelp
when Banana Republic has a sale, SHOP! I like the quality of their clothing and fits well. I bought 2 velvet blazers and wear dressed up or jeans... Their Jean's are true to size as well..tops grt
google avatar

Daniel P.

Yelp
Warning. While not reflected on the website, this store is a factory store as of a few weeks ago. That means don't come here expecting to make a regular BR return, to receive any Luxe benefits, or find (my preferred) BR clothing line.

Ali T.

Yelp
Had a WONDERFUL customer experience here with Robert (you are FANTASTIC!) & his supervisor & an assistant today. AND got some amazing deals!! Despite a busy location, the staff are extremely helpful and cheerful - they helped give advice about earrings and tried to help make sure i was aware of there extra discounts coupons available. It was a true and unexpected pleasure to shop here and they have a wide selection - I will be back!!

Yelp
Every once in a while I'll venture into Banana Republic. I won't actually purchase anything. I just like the atmosphere of this particular store. Lots of open space. Purchasing attire from there would indicate a lapse of the practical point of view that I hold dear. I just like the space, clean without being vacant or sterile. And a lot of the fashion is the guise of the regular Joe, while maintaining the visage of affluence. It is a ruse that isn't: brilliant. Just a thin veil. So the clothes look different on someone who still has to check his balance prior to purchasing things. The attempt to seem like the affluent seeming like the non-affluent, results in the veil. Sad. And why? Then there are those moments when the stars align, and the clearance section has more than just the rejects of all fashionable sense. [ie no plaid] In this case is was a polo shirt and sweater I picked up for thirty dollars together. That's $150 off the original tag. Am I still going to hell with every other American hoarding clothing from Third World garment slavery? Yes. But at least I can justify the price of fashionable damnation.
google avatar

Diamond Leona M.

Yelp
The quality of the clothes has gone down. I used to look forward to buying my clothes here. I could not find one decent professional button down collar shirt. I was hungry and felt fatigued and an employee made it clear to me that I'm an annoyance for simply existing. In this extremely large store, this nasty guy decided to walk so close behind me that he hit the back of my shoe, seriously pissed me off, never said excuse me. This made me seriously annoyed and I left the pants there that I was planning on trying on. Why bully your customers??? Don't like your job, then don't take it out on customers. I wasn't feeling great and he made it worse.

Chelsea R.

Yelp
Went here recently and was one of less than 5 customers in the store. Not a single employee asked us if we needed help. Instead every employee at this site stands around acting busy. Yet none of them are doing anything. They are the busiest yet laziest people I've ever seen at a BR site. When we checked out, one of the employees was standing hiding behind a pillar so she didn't have to help. Usually BR is very helpful.
google avatar

Robin R.

Yelp
Not star worthy. Only reason they are receiving a star is because they were open and I had a fashion emergency. This place is a wreck, messy and deserted of assistance. No one asked if I needed anything. The only associate I found was doing triple duty in the dressing room. Several associates kept going "on break". I waited on a six deep line of customers to checkout with ONE sales clerk. The clerk kept calling for backup, assistance, retail 911 to no avail. When I was finally next in line three associates appeared and encouraged me (next in line) and four behind me to go downstairs where there was no waiting. BS!!! We reluctantly went downstairs to the "no waiting" line and THERE WAS A LINE. Worst customer service. It was not a pleasant experience and clearly they have issues staffing the place. For such a prime location they need to be better staffed, better merchandised and a focus on customer experience.

Emily P.

Yelp
EXTREMELY RACIST STAFF at 17 west 34th street NYC! I felt so offended by the overall attitude of the staff especially the ones at the fitting room. They would not take the clothes from my hand but told me to put them on the table with a condescending and racist attitude. I have never been treated like that at other stores or just anywhere! I tried to think that they were having a bad day but after the continuous maltreatment of numerous staff, I could not handle it. I am thinking of escalating this experience to the manager. Very disappointed. Worst shopping experience I had.

Yelp
Pros: 1) Large inventory with various sizes, color and fits 2) Friendly customer service in aiding requests 3) Highly organized and well displayed items Cons: 1) Mannequins are at times not dressed properly Hands down one of the best Banana Republic branch stores on the island of Manhattan!!! This branch has all the essentials needed to outfit an individual for either a warm summer day to a candlelight dinner. This particular branch is a class A branch of all Banana Republics. Meaning, they carry all of the items advertised (with the exception of those that are online exclusives). On numerous occasions, the store manager Zach had offered assistance on finding sizes, colors, and fits. I'd highly recommend anyone looking for a particular article from either BR Men or Women to visit this particular branch first hand.
google avatar

Jessica G.

Yelp
Decent shopping experience. I found the perfect work flats that were marked down to $30 so I can't complain. More than three people asked if I wanted to apply for the Banana Republic credit card, which was annoying. Pros - Nice selection (including the sales racks, which had some items that I didn't see available at two other locations), easy to navigate the floor, pleasant fitting room experience with assistance from store associates Cons - Incessant nagging to apply for the credit card Overall a pleasant shopping experience and quality location if you're a fan of Banana Republic.
google avatar

Arthur O.

Yelp
Probably the worst of the Bananas in the city. The folks at the counter are dicks - refused to let me return some stuff; of course, other branch took it back w/o questions - and the layout is horrible. My favorite is the one at Rockefeller Center http://www.yelp.com/biz/F6_do2u0CyaPXViwfx5txg#hrid:9OgHNRnrRpUcz7Paqf6SUA. It's never too crowded and have a good amount of merchandise for men.
google avatar

Karin G.

Yelp
Overheard the following conversation between two sales assistants cleaning up stacks. One, a young man, lying across a pile of pants and the other, a young woman, folding sweaters: Young Man: I dunno, she was like really old, like 27 or 28, but you know one of those old girls who had really kept it together still. I don't know what she was doing with me. But oh well. Cuz that's none of my business. Really nice to know, little fella. Enjoyed learning this while searching for my husband's new fall shirts.
google avatar

Sonia G.

Yelp
This is usually my go-to BR store in the city because it's so accessible but it no longer will be. I've been shopping at BR for years and I believed they valued customer service since they're constantly emailing about it. However on my last visit I was given less than exemplary service. BR offers a little more discounts to their luxe members and early access shopping events to which I like to take advantage of last week they had an extra 50% off on sale items and 40% on regular priced items and when I went to pay the girl at the register, crystal (sp?) was charging me regular price for all my items. I showed her the email from banana saying that I could receive 50% off sale items and 40% off the two full price items I had. She told me that was only online and that the promotion in the store had expired. I showed her the email again highlighting the part where it said "online and in store" and she said "oh so then that must be in another store"... What?! I had already paid for my items when I realized but needless to say I returned everything. Go to another store or order online!
google avatar

Meredith K.

Yelp
Not a HUGE fan of Banana Republic but this one is not bad. Its filled with clothes and always neat and organized. Nice sales and close to other similar shops so you can go on a mini shopping spree and not leave the block Much better than the Banana Republic that I had in my mall back home with much more people oriented workers.

Tima T.

Yelp
They changed this former banana republic store to a factory store about 3 months ago. I went during Christmas sales and things were messy on the sale racks. Location is right in the middle on Manhattan. I'm sure you can find a deal here if you had the patience. I preferred the store over factory at this location.
google avatar

Lois A.

Yelp
Do NOT buy a pocketbook from Banana Republic! Three different purses, two different styles, and the strap broke on each one. I'm on my fourth bag (each time, the managers were good about exchanging, even for a higher-priced bag) and the metal holder keeps slipping out of the strap. I like their clothes, but stay away from their purses!! Lois Levine
google avatar

Elsa G.

Yelp
Helpful employees? Check. Large space? Check. Aesthetically pleasing? Check. Organized? Check. Good selection? Check. I likey.
google avatar

Ada C.

Yelp
Probably one of the bigger BRs in the city. There's two levels: men's on the first floor and women's on the second. Huge inventory, and they carry practically everything in all the sizes. Good customer service. I'm always greeted by someone when I enter and exit. The cashiers are friendly. However, the fitting rooms upstairs are kind of a hit or miss. I usually have to wait for someone to open the door for me even though there's only about two customers trying on stuff. I get better service in the men's section. Also, everything eventually goes on sale and there's always a promo somewhere, so I'd never pay full price here.
google avatar

Cynthia C.

Yelp
The store is big but the people here are rude. My boyfriend only wears banana clothing's and we normally go to fifth ave. We were around the area so stopped by this location. The sales people are very rude and nasty.
google avatar

Deoroop M.

Yelp
Clothes from Banana Republic should always receive more than 5 stars however, the availability and selection of clothes at this location, I'm never too thrilled about. The staff is highly amiable and very friendly, and it's always a pleasant shopping experience. Best time to shop: When everything goes on sale for 50%.You can't go wrong with the quality of a good pair of pants from BR. P.S. AC is always blasting and it's a good hideaway to get away from the scorching, Sahara heat that we are experiening thanks to global warming :-)
google avatar

Nino R.

Yelp
The Men's sale section was huge, perhaps half of their offerings were markdowns. It seems like they are going through a transition in the store, perhaps setting up for the spring line-up. The store looked a little bare and disheveled. I made several purchases after being told that there is no sales tax on clothing in NYC (under a certain amount). Really!? That's just amazing to me. I've been operating this whole time, during my vacation, under the impression that there was sales tax. Now I'm forced to do more shopping in NYC. Overall, I was pleased with the size of the store and the pace of the line at checkout. All of the associates that I dealt with were helpful and pleasant. I will definitely come back on my next trip out east. Banana is a great spot for the basics but not for top layer clothing. Take it easy...
google avatar

Tony W.

Yelp
Not sure why this place only has 3 stars. it's a great banana place in my opinion. The staff there is always helpful in getting you whatever you need and helping you to find things in your style / size. I think this Banana is on par with the other good Bananas in the city (Rockefeller, 5th Ave, SoHo). Always participates in sales that others participate in.
google avatar

Irene H.

Yelp
The service here reminds me why I like to shop online. I reserved something through their Reserve service. It took them a long time to find the items. Dressing rooms were easy to get into but in terms of service for getting other sizes, etc. they seemed severely understaffed or unaware of their own product. The store is big so they have a good selection, but it was pretty messy. I wouldn't have gone in but they had items that were sold out online and a larger discount. Cashier seemed inexperienced. Check your receipt - I used a 50% off promotion and two items were 40% off. She also told me half of my order wasn't on sale, but when she actually scanned it, they were.
google avatar

Michael J.

Yelp
Where is the rush? The store layout and organization is nice and easy on the eye. The staff is always running around - whats going on, let me know. The selection of mens clothing is nice - even if it is on sale or not on sale. The mannequins some time are a bit awkward looking maybe it is the way they are dressed or the lack of dressing. Overall always have a nice time and always can find something to try on.

Yelp
i used to work at this banana republic and i was wondering what people thought of it. well...two of the three reviews were negative so in the store's defense i think i should step up to bat. Arthur O. - The people at the counter, my people, me in the past. we refused to return something probably due to one of the following factors: 1. the fact that you did not follow the return policy a. the garment was worn or damaged b. the item was past the 90 day return period c. you did not have your reciept 2. you were probably being a dick. Angry D. - The styles that BR brings is not a choice the store makes. We often take feedback from our customers especially at a store like 34th St. which carries the bulk of our collection as well as a lot of "test" items. We take our customer feedback through to product development in which they attempt to fit your needs. This has nothing to do with the individual store. My take on 34th St: 34th St is 2nd largest store in New York City which has about 25+ BRs. It is situated in the middle of the block which is not an optimal location. It is, however, across the street from the Empire State Building as well as Macy's. This causes a great deal of traffic to flow in and out of the store because of the high tourist volume. On an average day about 3,000-4,000 people pass through the doors. It is a very busy location and the best time to have an easy shopping experience is either from 10:20-11:30 AM, 2:30-4 PM or 7:45-9PM. I say these are the best times because most days you will avoid the crowds. The general rule for retail shopping is easy - Don't be a dick. If you're a dick then I have every reason in the world to treat you poorly and not give you what you want. I understand it is my job to provide you exemplary customer service but i take that with the understanding that you will be a civil upright member of society. Having been a manager, I understand if sometimes the associates do not provide great customer service. Again, it is an extremely busy location but if you just have a positive attitude they will do everything in there power to help you. Plus, I'm sure each and everyone of you have slacked off at work before so do not crucify the poor college student folding clothes for a fraction of what you make an hour sitting at a cube. If it is in fact the associates fault - speak to a manager they will help you but again be polite! Now back to the store... Women's Sale is very popular but you have to get there at the right time. If you are a sale shopper be prepared to roll up your sleeves. Due to the quantity of merchandise the store carries when items go on sale the popular sizes tend to fly off the rack. A lot of shoppers know people that work at BR and they will inform them when the next big sale will be. So, if you don't know anybody...then just check in periodically to see if theres anything you like. Now...for the end. The reason why its a four-star review and not a five star is for several things. The store being a flagship volume store is not able to attend to each and every customer. There are just too many people coming in and out. The associates are nice but due to the high strain on them from all the traffic and the constant repetitiveness of tasks which has no end until the door's close...they are usually drained towards the end of the night. If you want a huge selection without the stress of rockefeller center and good customer service then go to 34th st.

Yelp
I love this store! Salespeople are helpful, merchandise is terrific, and the architecture of the building itself is beautiful - especially the winding staircases (tho sometimes I take the elevator!). Not crowded like Rock Center location. Great shopping here!
