Bananaland

I had the most wonderful experience here. The service is absolute perfection — the staff are incredibly kind and genuinely caring. The food is nothing short of a culinary art expedition. I came back several days in a row just to try all their gnocchi with different starters, and each dish was exceptional. Highly recommend!

I came in the first time for the name (Bananaland!! I love it 😀) but the food blew me away!! So, so, good! The first night we had the picadinho de filé mignon and the Nhoque de batata com espinafre (spinach gnocchi), which was perfect 👌 It was so good that we have come back and tried the Nhoque de Barao ao Molho de Gorgonzola (Gorgonzola gnocchi) and Filé com arroz de limão Siciliano. Meu Deus!! So delicious! And when in Bananaland, of course, you have to try the Banana Especial for desert, so we did.... I would have had another, but I was so full I just couldn't do it!!

The food was very delicious!! Atmosphere and service are also nice. Vegetarian options available :)

We had a great dinner here! The grilled fish (Dorada) was wonderful.

Came here after searching online for a great picanha in Buzios - and I found it !!! Terrific meal and service, tasty tender al punto picanha with a perfect fat cap, will definitely return.

The empanadas were fabulous. I had the leek and the shrimp ones. Service was quick and friendly.

This was hands-down, the best value for the money of any meal I had in town. The steak was outstanding and the risotto was a perfect pairing. We also had a thin steak special with gnocchi that was equally delicious. The ladies were friendly and great. The wine was great. I’m going to go back for another round tonight!

Slightly slow service, but amazing and unpretentious food. Highly recommended
