You walk in this place and you can tell it’s authentic. It’s the type of place where you enjoy a drink with a small group have a good chat and just enjoy the scenery. My friends and I enjoyed the fantastic drinks and played cards. The staff is friendly and so well dressed. I will definitely be coming back here with a date or friends from out of town. It’s a place to impress!

Lovely atmosphere with the nicest staff. The bar is hidden in an alleyway and is truly a hidden gem! We ordered the Dragon Tears ($23) and the Sake Watermelon Highball ($12). The Dragon Tears was very unique and you could truly taste the jasmine tea. The Highball was also quite delicious and refreshing. Will be back!

I’ve never seen such a classy place in Sydney with such cute and handsome bartenders! It’s perfect for dropping by casually or for celebrating special occasions with your partner!

It has been a few years since I'd been to the city for Friday night drinks. We started up town at Herbs and had a few places in mind, at each place we went was because we listed our choices to the mixologist (we chose to sit at the bar at each place) and gauged their reactions. Often they would get really excited about one you mention so that was the choice. Bancho came highly recommended by the team at PS40… We didn't need a booking and only had to wait a few minutes, but if you are keen I'd book to make sure you get a table. The menu seems limited, however they only offer a few pages at the table the rest is available online. Food came out quickly as did the drinks even though it was completely full

We have such nice staff and a pretty and handsome bartender. The cocktail tastes amazing, too! Everyone is professional. I recommend this place in Sydney with the best atmosphere!

Bar with Great Japanese ambience, so cozy and classy . Best cocktail ever .. We have Japanese Negroni , Ume Old Fashion and Lychee Blossom . They also have Lot of variety Highball.. The staffs are really acomodating. Will come back again with more friends..

Not my first time being there but the last experience was horrible, I ordered whisky highball, not fizzy at all, the whole tank of soda must be super flat, spoke to the staff, they came back with the same drink and filled more flat soda, made the drink even more tasteless. All other cocktails that my friends orders are still ok but the whole experience was kind of disappointing because of the flat soda and fake services.

cute hidden bar! Been here a couple times and always had a good time. The drinks are nice and vibes are chill.
