Band Baaja Boba: An Indian Bubble Tea Experience

I’m in love with this place! I got to try this at Smorgasburg at The Row DTLA which is every Sunday. I got the Haldi Doodh (turmeric ginger milk) and it was delicious! I will say that it was quite a sweet drink (I’d put it at about 80% on a boba sweetness level) which was perfect for me. It wasn’t too spicy either, it was just enough and I think a lot of people will like it! I’m a huge chai lover and so I’m excited how many of the drinks feature spices and nuts. I’ll definitely be back to try more.

I got the valentines special Love Potion N. 9. Absolutely delicious and refreshing rose lychee soda! The foam is perfectly sweet and when you mix the drink it fizzes up like a real potion. Wonderful drink all around; This drink completed my experience at DTLA Smorgasburg.

We had the absolute pleasure of booking Band Baaja Boba for our wedding ceremony, and it was truly one of the best decisions we made. From our very first conversation with Sanjay, his passion for boba and genuine excitement about being part of our celebration shone through. He went above and beyond to craft a custom drink menu that reflected our love story and personalities, featuring creations like the Mumbai Kala Khatta Lemonade, Georgia Peach Lassi, and the OC “Arnav” Palmer. Each drink was not only delicious and refreshing, but also deeply personal — a unique and thoughtful touch that made our day even more special. Sanjay was incredibly accommodating, even with our last-minute changes — whether it was adding new drinks or stepping in as a boba attendant on the day of the wedding. His flexibility, professionalism, and warmth made the entire experience seamless and enjoyable. On a hot and sunny wedding day, our guests were raving about the creative and refreshing drinks — they were a total hit! We’re so grateful to Sanjay for his energy, creativity, and dedication, and we wholeheartedly recommend Band Baaja Boba to anyone looking to add something truly memorable and meaningful to their special day.

The drinks were amazing - great flavors and even better service. The owner was extremely kind and quickly made us drinks as we were in a rush for a wedding event. So glad we made the stop, truly some of the best and most unique boba we’ve had - strongly recommend to anyone in Norco area!

Desi Boba?! This has to be the most unique fusion boba concept in SoCal. Classic and Desi-inspired original recipes that are fresh and delicious. Our drinks were prepared by the owner -- Sanjay -- and he was so kind and hospitable. I had the Horchaita (gotta love the play on words there!) and it was fantastic, but we'll definitely be back to try a new pistachio drink he told us he has in the works.

If you are looking for something unique, this is it! Fantastic fusion of rich Indian flavors on Boba tea! Loved the mango Lassi, Thandai(Saffron and nutty) , Kacchi kairi(Raw Mango)

The boba drinks at this place are amazing! It has very unique & delicious flavors you will not get at regular boba places. We tried several drinks and some of our favorites are Mango Lassi, Brown Sugar Boba Masala Chai, Parle G Masala Latte and Gulab (Rose). The delivery service was exceptional!

I've been on a chai kick for a while now, so of course, the first thing I had to try was their Iced Masala Chai, which was amazing! And if you like more cinnamon in your blend, then grab the Horchaita. While I'm no expert, the spices here taste richer than a lot of places I've been to recently. The brown sugar boba wasn't super sweet, which was great because it didn't overpower, and I bet it complements every drink on their menu. I honestly can't wait to go back and try more.
