Good Bite Breadwich Co. (Formerly B&A Bakery)

So excited our beloved bakery reopened and I couldn’t wait to get my sesame baguette! They now come in a plastic bag, so inquired if they were the same as the ones I previously bought for years that came in a paper bag. I was assured they were indeed the same, I was sceptical as they didn’t appear to have that crunchy crust. We were so disappointed, the loaf that had a distinct crunch and a light airy texture is now dense, tasteless and there’s no resemblance of our beloved baguette that was once a family favourite. 😢

Love you guys but when are you open? LOL I was creeping around the parking lot trying to see if you guys were open 😅🤣 It didn’t look open so we just left 😆 Do you have an ETA for opening to the public? Miss my favourite bakery and those delicious muffin tops and pizza dough.

A Big Bakery outlet and wholesale shop. Breads are of high quality and quite delicious. Coconut rolls are very good. Price is Cheap. Parking lot is available and spacious.

Bakery outlet with good variety of baked goods. Tried the honey buns, found it similar to glazed donut, only bigger. They have muffin tops only, genius!

Really shouldn't have closed down Ellesmere until Milner was ready. The Royal Canadian Legion would come there every week-end to get our buns for our weekly BBQ. Now I have to go elsewhere, plus you have pushed out until August. Not a happy customer right now.

B&A Bakery is best for fresh bread (hamburger buns, hot dog buns, 12inch 8inch subs, slice bread, etc). It is a small shop that has a mom & pop feel to it. The cashier in the evenings (south Asian Indian lady) is very friendly always has a smile on her face and open to chatting with you. They have the best prices for Dempsters Bagels and a wide assortment of different kinds. Entrance door is possible to enter via wheelchair but might be little challenging with the little bump in front (see pic posted). Parking spaces are limited, can't recall if there's wheelchair parking will verify next time I visit. They also have Tastee Patties, French bread baguettes, naan, and sweet stuff like cinnamon buns and chocolate chip cookies.

I been ordering from this company for quite some time now, but recently the last few orders I got on burger bun was darker then it should be. Then I called in for my next order and informed the lady who picked up phone about the over bake burger buns. She said that's how we do it and that's it, she didn't ask for the photo of the buns or find a verdict. Each week I order 10 to 12 dozen of burger buns from them but now no more.

The strawberry cheese Danish is a soft briochy bun that is a steal at just over a dollar. The apple sticks are flaky and just the right amount of sweet. The dinner rolls are very soft but should be finished in under four days or so. The only thing I wasn't a big fan of was the French bread. It's cut a little thick and can be too much if used for sandwiches with anything less than multiple layers of filling. The butter croissants are perfection warmed a little in the oven. You don't even need to add anything, they're that buttery and flaky. To top it all, the prices are very reasonable.
