It was so amazing the first time, I returned before I left Doha. I had my first experience eating on the floor. It was unexpected because I never knew that this was an actual "thing". I was pleasantly surprised and it is the highlight of my trip as it relates to dining. The place was bustling but super fast and excellent service . Very clean establishment as well. Shout out to my waiter - Abdullah, whose suggestions were on point and he recognized that we had never eaten on the floor before. He made the experience most memorable. He also remembered us on our second visit and did an excellent job, once again. Be mindful- IT IS A LOT OF FOOD!! The rice was the most delicious I have ever had , ever 😋 😍!!

The food was definitely not for my palate. Gave this place a go to try an authentic Yemeni food. The mandi rice with lamb was just too bland and had raw flavours. Rice was quite grainy and was not boiled well. Lamb felt like it was cooked just in plain water with no flavour whatsoever. It was tender though. Got nauseated midway and had to waste half of it. The locals dining in though were devouring the food which meant it was to their liking and proximity to souk tells the story. Service was pathetic. It was too crowded. Ambience was dated and crammed for space.

First time trying Yemen food and I loved it. I blindly ordered a meat dish and a dessert and enjoyed both with plenty of leftovers. Service was fast and the food arrived fast as well. I highly recommend this place.

Happy to have a meal here any day. Food may not like the most exciting, but taste like someone's mom made dinner for you. We had Hanid meat and beef with Yemeni species - both dishes were well marinated and seasoned, cooked till fall of the bone tender. And you can request a small bowl of complimentary soup. The one we had tasted of a hint of lamb, pepper and potatoes.

First time having Yemeni food and it was delicious! We got the buried meat and chicken stew which came with bread. Loved it! The restaurant gets very busy at night so plan accordingly. The prices are reasonable too.

Delicious. Better than afghan brothers. Got the lamb and rice potatoes and it was so tender and flavorful. Chicken curry was ok, pass on that. Their bread was so good, a croissant crossed with naan

In my honest opinion it was overrated. I tried Zurbiyan and it was fairly average. The meat was cooked well however the taste was not there in meat and rice. Where as mandi was below average and no taste at all in rice and meat in my opinionit is overrated. Even the chicken and grilled chicken was taste less. They offered complementary soup as part of Yemeni tradition I guess. Service is fast 💨

I had an amazing experience at Bandar Adan Restaurant, trying a variety of their Yemeni dishes. The Mandi Chicken was perfectly cooked, with tender meat and fragrant rice. The Zerbian had a unique, rich flavor that stood out. The Oqdeh was deliciously spiced, and the Fasaha had a comforting, home-cooked taste. For dessert, I tried the Maasoub, and it was a perfect way to end the meal—sweet and full of flavor. The restaurant has a cozy, traditional atmosphere, and the service is quick and friendly. If you’re looking for authentic Yemeni cuisine, this place is highly recommended!
