On a quiet street in the center of everything close to everything where the past meets the present.|Cleanliness 5 Comfort 5 everything worked |Breakfast 5 tasty mostly home made by the owner or her mom.|Atmosphere 5 The owner is exceptionally nice and kind she makes her guests feel at home! Customer service 5 she knows what she does and above everything she loves what she does and her live for her business and for her city shine right through. I would not question where to stay if I return to Palermo

We faced some difficulties securing our first-night accommodation due to our late flight, but Angela was incredibly responsive. She promptly handled our booking and arranged transportation from the airport, making our arrival hassle-free. She also arranged transport when we left to go to Cefalu. The location was ideal for us as it was quiet at night but within walking distance of cafes, restaurants, bars and the major sights. The rooms are traditionally equipped, very spacious with an ensuite and a ceiling fan (perfect for an October stay) but air conditioning if required. Breakfast was predominantly homemade with an amazing selection of pastries to start the day. It also gave us an opportunity to meet our fellow travellers and swap stories and recommendations. We really enjoyed our time with Angela and will definitely return to spend a few days before embarking on the eastern/southern coast of Sicily. If you want an authentic Sicilian start to your holiday then contact Angela, she will be back to you within minutes.

Angels is a gifted linguist, carrying three conversations in as many languages at breakfast. She is a fabulous host, knowledgeable of her city and was able to give us the inside story on the places we toured. We were a triple with a balcony and a beautiful bathroom. I really hope life will give me another opportunity to visit Palermo and stay here!|Thank you, Angela!

Angela was a lovely host and gave us lots of helpful advice. The room was very large with a balcony overlooking a peaceful street. The apartment was on the 6th floor but there was a lift. A simple breakfast was included, with delicious home made cakes. It was very clean and comfortable. It was in a perfect central location within very easy walking distance of the centre. We were able to leave our bags in the apartment after check out to collect later when we were ready to leave. we can recommend the Gigi Mangia restaurant in Via Principe di Belmonte, very close to the accommodation. We had a lovely final meal there before leaving Palermo.

This is an amazing B&B. The rooms are super clean and equipped with AC, ceiling ventilator and mosquito nets installed in front of the windows. The B&B is very centrally located, but it is still quiet. Angela is a fantastic host. She is kind, reliable, very helpful and shares her local knowledge for planning of activities. I was always looking forward to the breakfast in the morning with her home-made pastries. A very nice and relaxing start of the day. Can absolutely recommend.

Fantastic convenient B&B in the heart of Palermo. Amélie Bed and Breakfast located in walking distance to the main attractions and offers comfort for the fraction of the price of near by hotels. Angela is a lovely host and owner make us feel like home , she is very friendly and polite person, explained us which places of the city to visit and how to get there. Perfect location in the city, rooms are clean, airconditioned and have everything you need. The host Angela is supersweet, providers amazing breakfast (and coffee) and speaks Italian, English, German and Spanish. Perfect first 4 days of our holiday in Sicily!

We loved our stay at Amelie. The location was great - close to everything, yet our room faced a quiet street. We had everything we needed to be comfortable during a four-day stay in Palermo. Breakfasts were a sight to behold: the large communal table was loaded each morning with a more diverse selection of cereal, breads, fruit, pastries, cake, preserves/jellies, etc. than we've seen in many years of B&B stays. These treats were mostly Palermo specialties, many were homemade by the family that owns the B&B, and they were all delicious. The true highlight of this B&B, however, is its owner, Angela. She is a no-nonsense business woman and a gracious hostess combined. She has a passion for her city that came through clearly. We hope to return to the fascinating kaleidoscope that is Palermo, and we will certainly stay at Amalie when we do.
