What an amazing stay we had. The owner was sweet, kind, attentive and very helpful. When we checked in with our child he upgraded our room to a higher floor that was bigger for free. The breakfast on the room was breathtaking and very good. Great variety and so fresh! We will be back and will recommend to anyone. Thank you for our stay.

From the moment you arrive, you are made to feel like the most valued guest in this family run B&B. Stefano has gone over and beyond ensuring our stay was amazing: from recommending & reserving for us at wonderful restaurants; you wish to relax on a beautiful beach, no problem, lounge chair & umbrella are reserved; securing a spot in a secure parking. Stefano handled the details swiftly months before our arrival. We have travelled in many countries and have rarely encountered this level of service. Thank you Stefano (and to your family) for this unforgettable stay.

If you're not staying at Aretusa Vacanze, you're missing out! The location is perfectly situated in Ortigia for easy access to restaurants, shopping, and swimming. The rooms are spacious, clean, and quiet. Most importantly, you won't find better hosts than Stefano and his family (three generations providing excellent service). Breakfasts were delicious and included fresh breads, pastries, and an assortment of homemade jams made by Stefano's father (try the fig and nuts). The hospitality provided by the family was second to none. While you're there, be sure to ask Stefano for restaurant recommendations - he did not disappoint - every restaurant was excellent and better with each recommendation. When we return to Siracusa, we'll be staying here again.

This was our first visit to Sicily. We had such a lovely time here. I can only echo what other 5* reviews have said - the family running the B&B are charming and helpful, and our room was interesting in a good way and spotlessly clean. |We particularly enjoyed our chats with Stefano in the mornings when breakfast was being served to us on the roof terrace (which has views over Ortygia and to the sea beyond).|Once you step outside the front door you are in the heart of the old town, but our room (no. 9) was so quiet you wouldn't have known you were so near the street.|A perfect base for a holiday.

Nice place very close to everything in Ortigia 😊 The owners were kind and attentive, we even got an upgrade to a larger room. The room was clean and spacious, with a comfortable bed and a (much needed) well functioning air-conditioner 😮‍💨 Breakfast was great as well!

This family run B&B is ideally located in one of the narrow winding streets in Ortygia close to the Fountain of Arethusa. Our room was very large with an amazing ceiling. The furnishing reflects its older style, and one small down side is limited space near the bed to leave items for the night. The bathroom was modern with an excellent shower. Breakfast was served on the roof top terrace with a nice variety of items to order from. The staff were very friendly and helpful and booked us an excellent driver to take us to our next destination as the trains are not currently operating in the area.

Stephano is the most wonderful host. We had an amazing stay. From arriving and receiving a ceramic pineapple in honor of our anniversary, to the wonderful breakfasts served on the roof, (jams homeade to die for) to the incredibly charming room and view of the small street below, we loved Aretusa Vacance. The whole family of hosts were incredibly nice, and Stephano made certain that we had reservations for extraordinary meals every night (even called our restaurant in Rome, next stop, to save a table for us.) We also loved the art all over this charming spot. Bravo to Stephano for making us feel so special.

This lovely B & B was a highlight of our Sicily trip! Located down a quiet alley in the heart of the Ortigia historic area. Seconds from the water, beautiful sunsets and wonderful restaurants. Stefano ( sorry if misspelling) was a welcoming and patient host . He was anxious for us to love Ortigia as much as he did - providing us with many helpful recommendations. Driving in Ortigia is a fun adventure and Stefano was able to easily direct us to parking, Breakfast had many options and was a wonderful start to the day. The rest of the staff was friendly and helpful as well. Anxious to return soon! ( We had a kitchenette , but really only used the refrig - too many good restaurants near by)
