B&B Aretusa Vacanze - Ortigia Siracusa

Lovely place to stay in beautiful Ortigia, Siracusa. My daughter took me for a four day break and we couldn’t have had a better holiday. Stefano and his family who run the B&B treat you like family. There is a delicious breakfast served on the roof terrace of this 17th century building. It’s authentic and quirky and very centrally placed for the fountain and all the bars and restaurants. Stefano helpfully recommended restaurants and organised our taxi to the airport. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a kitchen area with fridge and hob if we wanted to cook, great shower and everywhere spotlessly clean. The beds were huge and very comfortable. WiFi good too. The Duomo square with its beautiful architecture is just around the corner. Fabulous place to stay.

This was an incredibly friendly guest house. It’s family run. The location is very near the aretusa spring on the eastern end of ortiga island near the castle. Everything a short walk. The room very clean, bed comfortable and bathroom spotless. The best thing was breakfast on the roof, great view, warm hospitality and the homemade jams (truly special). If in Siracusa don’t go elsewhere.

What really made our stay unforgettable, however, was the exceptional service. The whole family that runs the B&B is incredibly welcoming, kind, and attentive. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel at home, offering helpful tips, delicious breakfasts, and warm hospitality that went above and beyond. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests and put a lot of heart into everything they do. What an amazing stay we had. The owner was sweet, kind, attentive and very helpful. When we checked in with our child he upgraded our room to a higher floor that was bigger for free. The breakfast on the room was breathtaking and very good. Great variety and so fresh! We will be back and will recommend to anyone. Thank you for our stay.

The family owners of this B&B were so friendly and kind. We had everything we needed. The breakfast on the rooftop terrace was amazing! Next time we visit Ortigia we will definitely be back.

Stephano and his wonderful family took such good care of us! - Dinner recommendations were perfect . We were treated to fabulous breakfasts with just-squeezed red orange juice, homemade jams, eggs with bacon & lots more on cozy roof top terrace. Beds were comfy. Stephano also arranged our two hour cruise out on the sea which was a highlight of our visit! We loved everything about Ortigia❣️
