Excellent stay! It's located just off Via Toledo and across from The Archaeology Museum as well as a delightful vegan restaurant, Vitto Pitagorico. The BnB is quite charming with very many vintage books, trinkets, and very lovely decor. It feels like something out of a classic Italian film! The host is great! She gave me a warm welcome and greeted me with chiachierre and espresso! Then she showed me all of her recommendations on a map and left a book of information on the table. I really appreciated her taking the time to do that. It's because of her that I ended up doing a whole lot more in Naples than I had on my itinerary. In the book of recommendations, she wrote short excerpts on each recommendation that included instagrammable places, historic sites and other locations off the beaten trail that I hadn't even heard about. The host was also very responsive and very gracious. The room was very lovely, with nice decor, and it had a beautiful balcony, lush with succulent plants and flowers. There was heating/AC, warm lighting, a flat screen TV, hair dryer, soaps, a kettle, tea and the bathroom was also nice. The prices for this BnB are very affordable and worth it. It was a better experience than being at a hotel because it had a vintage charm to it and was really right there in the middle of everything! As a city girl, I like to be where the action is and to really experience life in a new place. I loved being able to walk to anything because everything is at your doorstep. The BnB feels like an oasis in the centre of everything. You can see quite a lot, and you can get a good night's sleep. As someone who has traveled the world, I will definitely chose Arte e Musei again and recommend to friends.

My husband and I loved our stay here! Ivan was a wonderful host. He welcomed us warmly, and gave us maps and detailed recommendations of places to see and eat in Naples. And everything he recommended was great. ||The location can't be beat -- it's a few minutes from the heart of the historic neighborhood, the Archeological Museum, and the subway. So it's easy to explore Naples, and to use it as a base to explore other nearby places. We took a day trip to Herculaneum -- which is fascinating -- while were there. ||Highly recommended!!!

We stayed 2 nights in this lovely BnB, hosted by Federico and Ivan. I wished we had stayed longer! The location is very central and convenient to get to, with good advice and directions from the hosts right from the start. The room was very quiet and beautifully decorated and as other reviewers have said, a lovely retreat from the noise of the streets.|The rooms are massive with comfortable beds and modern en suites. And the breakfast was very generous with my favourite Italian pastry, sfogliatelle . But what is really outstanding and memorable are the hosts- who were informative, helpful with local knowledge and not only very hospitable but generous and warm. We would definitely come back to stay longer and get to know Naples a bit better. |Thanks for having us and so well deserving of all the great reviews.

We had a wonderful 3 night stay in this fabulous b and b. The hosts are an extremely friendly and helpful couple who cannot do enough to make you feel welcome. Our room was spacious and nicely furnished with a large and comfortable bed, good bathroom. Lots of interesting books, art works and travel guides around the house. Everywhere spotlessly clean. Located close to Metro and buses but also easy walking distance to all that this wonderful city centre has to offer. I highly recommend this place and cant imagine there is a better b and in Naples city centre. |

Ivan and Fredericka are gracious hosts, accommodating, informative and ever helpful. Our 3rd floor room was well appointed, ensuite with a nice shower and view of the street below. As frenetic as Naples is, the room was relatively quiet. The location was exceptional convenient with restaurants on Via Tribunali and the Porta Alba, all within 10 minutes walking. Don’t miss the famous Starita Pizzeria just up the street! It is an Naples Italian experience. If you time it right, you’ll miss the 100 people we counted waiting for a table at 7pm. Breakfast was fantastic! Ivan and Fredericka woke up each morning to make fresh cappuccinos and buy fresh pastries! My favorite was the flaky sfogliatella, native to Campania! Don’t miss staying at this delightful B&B.

Very nice host. He made us coffee, he explained what to visit, we had breakfast at a Cafe nearby included, very nice rooms, authentic style with napoletan balcony. Minus is the noise of the street (closing the window is ok for sleep) and that the area has trash on the street (that is a general issue for Napoli).

We looked through reviews to find a good place to stay in Naples this January and opted for this B and B. It lived up to its great reviews. The location is close to the historic district and perfect for the Archaeological Museum - which is a must see as all the good stuff from Pompeii and Herculaneum is there. It’s also near the metro so it’s easy to get to the station for P and H. The B and B itself was well-equipped, spotless and charming and our hosts couldn’t have been kinder. Breakfasts were excellent and we had some great meals and trips out thanks to their recommendations. If coming back to this part of the world we will definitely stay here again.

Our hosts Federica and her husband were tremendously helpful during our brief stay in Naples. They helped us navigate a taxi, some sightseeing and provided an early breakfast too! They were patient and welcoming even with a daughter and cat. Comfy bed, a little loud from street noise but delightful people and space.
