Excellent stay! It's located just off Via Toledo and across from The Archaeology Museum as well as a delightful vegan restaurant, Vitto Pitagorico. The BnB is quite charming with very many vintage books, trinkets, and very lovely decor. It feels like something out of a classic Italian film!
The host is great! She gave me a warm welcome and greeted me with chiachierre and espresso! Then she showed me all of her recommendations on a map and left a book of information on the table. I really appreciated her taking the time to do that. It's because of her that I ended up doing a whole lot more in Naples than I had on my itinerary.
In the book of recommendations, she wrote short excerpts on each recommendation that included instagrammable places, historic sites and other locations off the beaten trail that I hadn't even heard about. The host was also very responsive and very gracious.
The room was very lovely, with nice decor, and it had a beautiful balcony, lush with succulent plants and flowers. There was heating/AC, warm lighting, a flat screen TV, hair dryer, soaps, a kettle, tea and the bathroom was also nice.
The prices for this BnB are very affordable and worth it. It was a better experience than being at a hotel because it had a vintage charm to it and was really right there in the middle of everything! As a city girl, I like to be where the action is and to really experience life in a new place. I loved being able to walk to anything because everything is at your doorstep. The BnB feels like an oasis in the centre of everything. You can see quite a lot, and you can get a good night's sleep. As someone who has traveled the world, I will definitely chose Arte e Musei again and recommend to friends.
