Where to Stay in Florence: The Best Neighborhoods For Your Visit
"I considered B&B Hotel Firenze City Center a solid budget choice in Santa Croce, offering simple, light-filled rooms with a desk and flatscreen TV, bathrooms with a bidet and complimentary toiletries, and a breakfast buffet (about €9.50) with croissants, cakes, muffins, cereals, yoghurt and eggs." - Matthew Kepnes
All details all well thought trough. No cards or keys, just a code. Bathroom perfect, especially mirror illumination. Very comfortable bed. Nice terrace with beautiful view. Only small annoyance was the noise of the heating/ventilation system and lack of illumination in the corner of the room . No need to book breakfast, just pay at the reception. Very friendly, smiling staff. It was a very nice stay.

The staff were nice.
The room was really clean and smelled great.
They provided detailed guide to some attractions and good restaurants. The locations are not too far nor too close, still within walking distance.
Breakfast was nice, with both sweet and hot food. The coffee machine has regular coffee and decaffeinated coffee.
Overall, it was a great experience here.

Good location, 20-30 min walk to the main monuments. Multiple bus stations nearby. Rooms were clean and view from my room showed the main cathedral. ||I found it weird that the coffee machine at reception only took cash or you had to download an app to pay by card.. but overall it was a nice stay, staff was helpful.

We stayed at B&B Hotel Firenze City Center for three nights and found it to be a great base for exploring Florence. The location was very convenient and in a quiet area, with most attractions within walking distance and multiple bus stops right outside if needed. ||Our room was tidy, clean, and provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It is a simple but well kept hotel that worked perfectly for our time in the city. We especially appreciated the keypad entry system, which meant we didn’t have to carry a key around all day. ||Overall, a reliable and convenient choice for anyone visiting Florence.

The hotel is very well positioned, around 20-minute walk to the main attractions. Very clean rooms & bathroom, but the rooms & entire hotel really need a renovation. The breakfast was delicious, with simple options for everyone's tastes (a very good mix between traditional, salty, fruits, and sweet products). We enjoyed staying at this hotel.

Near bus stops. Walkable from anywhere you're going. Just be wary of quite small elevator. 2 persons with 2 luggage is the max capacity of their 2 elevators. But overall, our stay was lovely.

I really liked the effort of the receptionists, very kind and responsive. They moved me to another room at my request and they’re fantastic at customer service. Can’t wait to return and stay again!

We booked a trip to Italy and stayed in two B & B Hotels ( Venice & Florence ). The first in Venice was a brand new Hotel to that location. Great modern decor with a very elegant Restaurant. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable of the area ( front desk ) wine and food pairings ( restaurant ). I would highly recommend this hotel brand. The second Hotel in Florence was older but still had that modern flair and was located close to all the sight seeing in the area. Based on the two Hotels I would count on the B & B brand to be worth the money. Good service, good quality rooms and nice breakfast....5 stars ....Ray, Jenni
