A Mixed Stay with a Great Location
My recent stay had some really positive aspects, but also a few areas that could definitely use some improvement.
Let's start with what I liked: the room itself was clean and well-maintained, which I always appreciate. And the location was fantastic, putting me right near the heart of the city, which made exploring super easy.
Now, for the less ideal bits. While my room was clean, the view from my window was unfortunately just the roof of a nearby building, which wasn't exactly inspiring. More concerning was the AC, which had a distinct smell of mold; I ended up having to switch it off, which isn't ideal, especially if it had been warmer. I also noticed there was no safe in the room, which is something I definitely look for to store valuables securely.
However, the biggest drawback for me was the parking situation. For a hotel of its size, having only 10 free parking spots that are almost always taken is a real hassle. I spent a good amount of time looking for alternative parking, which added an unnecessary layer of stress to my arrival and departures.
Overall, if you're looking for a clean room in a prime city location and don't mind a potentially moldy AC or very limited parking, this hotel might work for you. But for me, these issues brought the overall experience down a notch.
