B&B Hotel Madrid Centro Plaza Mayor

Excellent hotel. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom were clean and in excellent condition. The shower was very good! The little kitchen/dining area downstairs was great and the free coffee very welcome. The location of the hotel was great, with loads of transport links from right outside your door. There's loads of food and drinks options within walking distance. Would definitely recommend and would stay there again.

I had a wonderful experience at this B&B near Plaza Mayor. The receptionist was incredibly kind and welcoming, making check-in smooth and pleasant. The room was spotless, with great attention to cleanliness and comfort. The location couldn’t be better—right in the center of Madrid, close to all the major attractions, restaurants, and shops. Perfect for exploring the city on foot. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Madrid!

Staff were helpful and friendly. Rooms were clean, comfortable and practical.. but a bit small, aircon was too warm and a bit noisy from outside. Shower not curtained well, so you will get the bathroom floor wet when you shower. You have to carry your suitcase up some stairs to get to the lift. No breafast option. Excellent location, walk everywhere, and very good value at time of our stay, but rates tend to spike depending on demand or season i'd guess. Would come back again if we catch them at reasonable rates. Not good for groups or families.

We went in cold weather, the hotel's air conditioning was inadequate. We were very cold. This was a big problem for us, the hotel was cold for us. But everything else was great. It was super clean. The service was very good. We were happy with everything except the air conditioning problem. The croissants and coffee corner were very enjoyable. The center was very close to everywhere.

Read the reviews and liked the location, price looked okay, so we booked this hotel for 3 nights. Location was great and staff was courteous and helpful. We booked a standard room. In September the temperature approached 80 but our room’s (303) AC wasn’t really cooling off the room. Front desk young man agreed to change our room to 102. Bigger room with better AC. ||However, here are the negatives resulting in 3 star rating especially if you are up there in age. (We are in our mid 70s but healthy). The elevator was in operable on two separate days and the hotel has numerous steps. No hot water on two mornings. Staff was responsive to both problems but these issue presented inconveniences nonetheless.||Room condition was somewhat shabby. Had to request a blanket for bed although bedding was clean and comfortable. No bath amenities other than liquid soap. No facial tissues. Overall poor room lighting.||“Coffee Corner” where a breakfast bar of complimentary coffee, fresh fruit and sweets was in basement with no elevator access. Lots of steps to get there.||For a younger couple this hotel would be fine if the hot water and elevator were operable but for us older folks this particular location/facility (B&B Hotels have multiple facilities) was not to our satisfaction.

Great location, close to everything. Spacious and clean rooms. Nice staff. And they have a really good coffee corner with coffee, juice, and biscuits. They also leave you some muffins/donuts/croissants in the mornings

This hotel is excellent value for money when you want PRIMO location during your stay in Madrid. It is literally about three minutes walk to Centro Plaza, two minutes to Plaza Mayor and in easy reach of most of the other central sights (like Gran Vía, Mercat de San Miguel etc) Beds are comfy, rooms/bathrooms are clean and staff are pleasant. Would definitely stay here again!

I sincerely thank the staff for their kind hospitality when we arrived at dawn after an 18-hour flight with my child. The hotel is perfect with the perfect location and the warm greetings. I really want to go back and stay in Madrid.
