Where to Stay in Milan When You Visit in 2025

"This three-star hotel offers simple, light-filled rooms with desks, smart TVs, and bathrooms with walk-in showers and bidets; the breakfast buffet is quite varied for the price (9.50 EUR) with lots of pastries and fresh orange juice, making it a great-value central option for first-time visitors who don't want to overspend." - Matthew Kepnes

The 6 Best Hotels in Milan (Updated 2025)

"Located in Centro Storico, this three-star hotel offers simple, bright, airy rooms with large-scale photographs of Milan on the walls and plenty of natural light from large windows; beds are really comfortable and rooms include a desk, flatscreen TV, and wardrobe. Bathrooms are on the smaller side but have walk-in showers and bidets. I especially like the varied breakfast buffet with lots of pastries and fresh orange juice (the buffet costs 9.50 EUR), and there’s a rooftop terrace with great views plus a little snack bar downstairs—overall great value for central first-time visitors." - Matthew Kepnes

The receptionist was very helpful and her information definitely enhanced our stay. We had the breakfast on the morning of our departure for convenience and found it offered a surprisingly welcome range of options and was very good value. The close proximity to the S. Ambrogio metro station with a fast through service to Linate airport for 2.20 Euros was incredibly convenient. Found a very good restaurant, L'Uccellina, a 10 minute walk away on Viale Di Porta Vercellina.

We had a lovely stay! The rooms were fresh and clean and we loved the private terrace. Breakfast was a perfect start to the day. Excellent value for money.||A special thanks to Susanna at reception - she was incredibly helpful, friendly and made us feel really welcome. Highly recommended!||The showers need updating and the scrambled eggs were not very tasty.

Planned to spend 1 day in Milan for a quick trip in September. Almost all the hotels were very expensive within 1 mile of Duomo Milano except this one and couple of other few. I have stayed in B&B hotels and had good experience in the past. So decided to stay here. It has very helpful receptionists for check in. I liked how the Room keys are just numbers that you need to enter for entry. You dont have to carry a physical key all the time with you. My room was very clean and had a safety box. Wish they could keep more fresh towels. Anyways If you have a car, then they will ask you to park it in a garage, 10 mins walk from the hotel.

The hotel has a perfect location for exploring Milan on foot – the train station, city center, and main landmarks are all within a twenty-five-minute walk. The room was small but cozy and modern, and from our window, we enjoyed a view of the Basilica of Sant’Ambrogio. Housekeeping was done daily. I liked that the hotel promotes an eco-friendly approach and encourages guests to save water and towels – a small but nice touch. Breakfast was a buffet with a decent selection. The highlight for me was making fresh orange juice using a special machine – just throw in a few oranges and your glass is ready! It’s not something you often see in this price range, and it really adds to the experience. The staff were very kind and helpful – they even stored our luggage after check-out until the evening when we took the train to the airport. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay and I can recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable place to sleep while enjoying most of their time out and about in Milan.

Nice clean hotel. Some of the rooms were on the small side. Breakfast nice and very reasonably priced. A good 30 minute walk to the centre. It would have been good to have a larger reception area with seating for waiting for friends etc. The hotel is in a quiet location.

Great hotel! Stayed here for four nights and it was excellent. Rooms basic but they have everything you need in and housekeeping do a fantastic job each day, rooms always so clean. Great location around 20 minute walk to central attractions and around the corner from a metro station which is great, and a 15 minute walk to the train station to get to milan malpensa airport. In walking distance to local bakeries, restaurants, and shops. Drinks and snacks available to purchase. Staff very friendly. Paid €50.40 for two people four nights in tourist tax. Couldn’t fault the hotel.

Good size room with a nice view. Easy checkin and out. Parking is far away and expensive. No place to unload your luggage and stairs near the entrance with no ramp. Small shower.

An excellent small hotel, very good value for money. Beds were v comfortable and breakfast is good- plenty of choices including fresh squeezed orange juice and gluten free options. Staff are very friendly. It was a good choice and away from city centre busyness, but with a couple of excellent local restaurants!
