We stayed at B&B Hotel Passo Tre Croci Cortina for one night as part of our trip around the Dolomites, and we absolutely loved it!
We were a little worried at first about whether we’d be able to park at the hotel, as it’s a very popular spot for nearby walks (including the beautiful Lago di Sorapis trail), but we managed to park without any trouble. We arrived around lunchtime – prime time – but there was still plenty of space available in the back car park. The road and other nearby car parks were absolutely packed, so we were pleasantly surprised to find a spot with ease.
The hotel kindly allowed us to park before check-in so we could head straight off on our walk for the day, which was really helpful. After our walk, we checked in and were very impressed. The hotel is beautifully decorated, clean and tidy throughout. Our room was modern, comfortable, and had everything we needed – we even had a balcony!
The staff were so lovely and welcoming, and there’s also a coffee shop connected to the hotel, which was a perfect little addition. There isn’t much to do in the immediate area, as you’re literally in a mountain pass, but you’re only a short drive from local towns and villages. We went into Cortina d’Ampezzo in the evening, which was lovely – we enjoyed a nice meal in a restaurant there before making the short (about 15-minute) scenic drive back to the hotel. We even saw a stag cross the road in front of us on the way back!
Breakfast (at an additional cost) and light snacks are available from reception, though we didn’t have the chance to try them. We honestly wished we’d stayed another night, as the hotel was so lovely and there are some amazing walks nearby. Would definitely recommend!
