Clean and friendly B&B located in a street just a stones throw from Piazza del Campo.
Pietro is an outstanding host and so friendly and helpful , really did give a great welcome.
If i was to be really picky it would be good to have tea / coffee making facilities in the rooms - although these are available in a communal relaxed space.
Being English we love our black tea and unfortunately this wasn’t available among the extensive selection of other teas.
Our room was compact but spotless and with good amenities , it did seem smaller than other rooms that we saw while walking past but we only used it as a base so it’s no deal breaker.
Breakfast is not provided on site but at a coffee shop a few doors up, we didn’t find the staff here particularly friendly on our first visit but the following day the welcome was quite different and made up for the previous day.
Breakfast consists of a croissant , small sandwich , hot drink and fruit juice - this quality was good and quantity more than adequate but could cause some issues if you have a gluten intolerance as there didn’t seem to be an alternative to the pastries/ bread - we could have informed the B&B in advance so they can’t be faulted for that.
Pricing was reasonable considering the location.
Would i stay here again - absolutely yes !
